Guest Reviews
- Emi (10/5): - The location is perfect! It takes just 10mins by walk.
The stuff is very nice, and is very kids friendly!
- Gary (10/5): - Clean room and helpful staffs. Well done!
- CHONG-YIN (10/5): - The hotel is located very near to Terminal 1. You will have to walk to the northern end of the terminal, go outside, and follow the sidewalk on the same side (there is only one) for maybe 50 meters (you should be able to see the hotel on the left side), go up some steps (this is tricky if you have big luggage) and then follow the path down and make a left at the end. It is definitely walkable with carry-on luggage, but you need to drag you big check-in bags up some stairs using a slop in the middle. The hotel has free shuttle service to and from the airport. Your best dinning options are at Terminal 1 which has plenty of choices. The hotel is awesome for a good night sleep for an early flight or a late arrival. The hotel itself is old and you may hear some noise from the plumbing. But other than that everything else worked as they should and I will have no issue staying there again in the future.
- Michael (6/5): - Property needs renovations, however service was good and room was tidy
- Klaudia (8/5): - Convenient location and reasonable price
- Verified traveler (6/5): I would avoid next time, but not that I hated. - It was a great value to stay before the long trip for sure. The building itself was very old, metal door to the room. While the room is spacious, everything was from like 70s, 80s hotel. The view from the window was great and overall, quiet. Dinner menu was very limited, but tasty. Curry was supposed to be famous but it was too late to order for me. The breakfast was something I wish I didn't add as a purchase when I booked the hotel. Nothing special. Since I know I could have better food at the airport, I should've waited. The bathroom is not vented well, so be careful. The venting machine selection was great. Staff was very friendly, tho don't expect the shuttle bus is as good as other hotels especially if you traveled internationally (with huge suitcases). Nobody is there to help you or have storage underneath the bus.
- Joyce (10/5): - Very hospitable hotel staff. Shuttle was very helpful especially in the cold weather.
- Joseph (10/5): - Easy to get to from terminal 1 and the free shuttle bus is very convenient
- Garry (8/5): - The hotel is close to the terminal and is a good place to stop between flights. Very nice staff. The room was clean and comfortable.
- Anna (8/5): - The hotel is very dated. You get an actual physical key, which I have not seen in a while. It's not a bad place to crash before an early morning flight though. Airport shuttle was convenient though goven its a 7 min walk, it took surprisingly long. The luggage scale in the lobby was a great service. Staff was polite.
- Sally (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and close to the airport (10-15 minute walk outside or courtesy bus). Vending machines for supplies. Reception staff friendly and helpful.
- Tal (10/5): Good experience - Stayed for one night before a flight. It's within walking distance from the airport and that was very convenient. The room was quite large and the bed was comfortable.
- Dustin (10/5): - For a short stay I like it very much
- Marshall (10/5): - what a nice and very reasonable place for a quick layover in NRT all good and just around the corner of T 1
bfast was cheap and decent no negatives
- Tong (6/5): - No where to buy food.
- Quan (10/5): - Friendly and English speaking staff. Very helpful. Would recommend.
- Linda (8/5): - Nice hotel within walking distance of Narita airport. Good for one night stay. Comfortable room. Breakfast wasn’t great limited choices and not much left by the time we went down.
- VAIBHAV BALASAHEB (10/5): - No near by restaurant or convenience store
- Claudine (10/5): - Nice big room. All amenities. Close to the airport. Great service. Not modern. Smelled a little musty but clean otherwise. I would go there again. Not a place where I would want to spend a few days but perfect when arriving or leaving the airport after a long flight.
- Peiping (8/5): - Everything is good!
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Christian (10/5): A Very Nice Airport Hotel - This place is a short walk away from Terminal 1. There aren’t any shops or restaurants near by so make sure to get your fill at the airport. If you don’t want to walk, there is a complementary shuttle bus to and from the airport. Check in was easy and my room was very spacious. If you told me that outside was an airport, I wouldn’t believe you. There was no bothersome sound of airplanes at all. During dinner, there is a restaurant with a small selection of items. Despite that the food was delicious and the stay was very nice. If I fly into Narita again, I’d pick this spot, especially if you have another flight the next day.
- Raymond (10/5): - Actually in the Airport and very convenient
- Lijuan (8/5): - The hotel staff are very friendly and the rooms are spacious. The only pity is that they do not have breakfast
- PETER (8/5): - Great staff, but older run down facilities. Very quiet which was great after a long flight.
- Geeti (8/5): - Everything I was fine but not the bed pillow. Was high uncomfortable for me and had no option. I slept without pillow
- Hui (8/5): - Not bad for a one night late flight stay.
- Jeremy (8/5): - Very easy and convenient
- whatsmyname (8/5): - Very old. Friendy staff but the hotel is so old. Convenient for easy acces to narita.
- mei (6/5): - The building and facilities are old, but maintained clean
- Wendy (6/5): - This is an old hotel but convenient to Narita Terminal 1 and functional.
- DWIGHT (10/5): - Ladida
- yasuhiro (6/5): - Breakfast was poor.
- Michael (10/5): - Convenient to airport
- N747PA (10/5): Very convenient and friendly - I've been coming here for years and it's always a pleasant experience.
It's an easy walk from Narita's terminal 1 North so I never use their shuttle
service. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Rooms are always neat
and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is fine and satisfying.
- Mariko (6/5): - good
- Thomas Gerard (6/5): - Location good but property old and no dining/bar facilities
- Augustine (10/5): Inn review May 2024 - It is an older inn which was clean and economical. Close to the airport and the free shuttle is a plus. A great place to rest up before you catch your flight out. No frills, just basics.
- NICARETES (10/5): Nice, Quite close Hotel to the Airport - The Hotel was really Good Close to the Narita International Airport,
And Had a Shuttle Bus from and to the Airport-Hotel,
The receptionist was really pass to gave our Key
I’ll recommend this Hotel
- Charlene (10/5): Convenient Stay! - Stay was very comfortable. There is a convenient shuttle bus to and from the airport. We stayed here for our day layover in Japan. Room was clean and visiting Chiba was only a subway train ride away. The only thing we did not have was an iron but we did fine without it.
- conscienciouseater (6/5): Only stay here if you have an early morning flight out of NRT - otherwise it’s depressing! - If you have an early morning flight, it is highly recommended that you stay near the airport, and then this would be the best choice, because it is the closest to the terminals. The rooms are 1- or 2-star types (ie. they suck!), but they are clean and the staff are very nice. It is walking distance to T1, but there are steep stairs, so for older or physically-challenged folks, better take the shuttle bus.
Under no other circumstances should you stay here. The ambiance is so depressing that you’d be better off staying in town. If you must fly out early morning and have the option, choose HND, it’s much more convenient than NRT!
- Christine (10/5): - We stayed over night after flying in from New Zealand, as a first time arrival I would recommend staying in Narita, the hotel has a free shuttle service to and from the hotel to the airport, where you can catch the train to your next destination. For those first time travellers this is your way of finding your feet and getting to where you need to be with out the stress of finding information and then where to get to the next transport you need.
- Mogeltoft (8/5): 6 Useful Things to Know About the Hotel - 1) You can walk from Terminal 1 to the hotel in 7-8 minutes on a nice sidewalk, mostly fenced by a white railing.
2) If not - there's a free shuttle bus between the airport and the hotel at regular intervals.
3) It may be only a 2-star hotel, but the staff treats you like royalty.
4) There is a restaurant on the premises, and both dinner and breakfast are very Japanese in a good way...
5) Plus, you can buy beer, soft drinks, snacks, and small meals from vending machines in the lobby area.
6) The bathroom is small and clean - there's heating in the toilet seat, and oddly enough, the toilet can also wash your bottom!
- Ronald (8/5): - 5 minutes of walking to Terminal 1. Room is very large at this cheap price.
The hotel is old, and need renovation.
If, staying for 1 night just to avoid missing the next morning flight, it is highly suggested.
- Youyu (10/5): - Walking distance to the airport!
- ALLEN (6/5): - Only stay here if you have a morning flight - in that regard it’s useful. The room is small and old but functional. As a hotel it’s a 2-star; plus 1 star more for sheer convenience of location to Narita airport makes it 3-star.
Be aware the shuttle bus goes to Terminal 2/3 first, then stays idle for 10 minutes, then drives 5 minutes to Terminal 1. So plan for 15 minutes more in calculating which shuttle to catch.
- Deborah (6/5): - Excellent location if you need to be close to the airport. But hotel restaurant closed at 8:30 pm, so only vending machine food available. Difficult if your flight comes in late. No other food around.
Hotel is very dated. Wallpaper staring to lift along the seams. Carpets appear dirty. Stained upholstery on chairs,
Breakfast is so so compared to other Japanese hotel breakfasts. Not as much variety and quality is not great
- anthony (8/5): - Easy airport hotel
- Jack (10/5): - Short walk to the airport. Good price for a basic, clean room.
- Nobushige (8/5): - Very convenient for transit
- Claudia (10/5): Great Experience - This hotel is very clean and everyone is friendly. You can walk to the airport but they offer a free shuttle service. It's prefect if you need to stay the night to catch another flight. They offer a breakfast buffet too! Overall 10/10 will stay here again.
- Kiran (10/5): - Very close to Terminal 1. Shuttle service.
- Kangsu (8/5): - Convenient location
- Patricio N. (2/5): - The price of the room was offset by old rugs, an uneven bed that aggravates the back pain of people. Quite austere compared to other hotels which are only a few dollars higher but have excellent rooms
- Mladen (10/5): - Staff was very nice.
- ericsI9663HC (6/5): Not recommended! - Very warm and uncomfortable in the room. Pillows not comfortable. Reception and Manager on duty not friendly and not understanding!
Breakfast was average. Dinner was good. I would not recommend this hotel!
- Rodney (10/5): - Very convenient location.
- Maria (6/5): - Property is old. Rooms are very worn - from the carpet to the bedding. Just needed a stay for one night near terminal 1 and this served that basic purpose.
- Yi (10/5): - convenience
- SOJU (10/5): - フライト待ちには
非常に便利で
いつも利用している
飛行機がよく見える部屋に出会ったことがないので
ぜひあれば、利用してみたい
- Yi (10/5): - water boiler is old.
- Patrick (6/5): Clean, friendly, tired decor - It's an airport hotel... tired... could do with a redecoration. Generally clean... One of the electric outlets didn't work.
Make sure you eat before you arrive... The dinner buffet was severely underwhelming and tepid and the ¥2000/head was really not worth it.
Regular bus service to and from T1 and T2
Staff friendly, polite and helpful.
- 989wuv (4/5): Better not stay here - The room is not clean
A used plastic bag was found on the floor
Creepy room
The shower is poorly designed
Water splashed everywhere
Should have checked the review here instead of google
Would never recommend anyone here...
- Cameron (10/5): Very close, very convenient - I arrived at Narita International from Canada. I needed one-night accomodation that was nearby, cost-effective and more spacious than a capsule hotel. Narita Airport Rest House was a great choice. Complimentary shuttle service connects the hotel to each airport terminal. Hand sanitizer stations were available at the hotel entry points, front desk and elevator access. The staff were welcoming and professional. I would gladly stay with Narita Airport Rest House again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property is pretty old but management has done their best to upgrade it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean, near to the airport , convenience , staff are polite
- Deanna (8/5): - I booked this hotel as an over night rest stop after my 17 hrs of flight. Even though it is so close to the airport, i had a bunch of heavy bags and love that they have a free shuttle. Service was great; room was clean. The bed is a litte hard to sleep on. But considering that as my only complaint, it's still worth staying here for a night.
- Jack (4/5): Location only - As budget as you can get. A pillow filled with beads?! Decor hasn’t been touched since the 70s I imagine but you pay to stay right by the airport.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient, friendly and helpful staff. Priced right. Needs some renovations.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Shuttle bus did not come to pick me up at airport, so I had to use a taxi.(I waited about an hour)
The bathtub was very slippery. The note tells the customers be cautious, but I hope they would do to protect more actively such as non-slippery mat on the bathtub.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Closest location to the Narita terminal 1. Great shuttle bus to both terminals. Walkable from terminal 1 in 5 minutes. Very helpful front desk staff, good vending machines. The restaurant looked good although I didn’t eat there. Dated interior deco but clean and very comfortable bed.
- procrastnomore (6/5): - close to the airport, shuttle service, no frills, however, there are bed bugs, and seems a bit outdated and management can charge a small premium and maybe update and do a proper cleanup...
- Stephanie (10/5): Convenient, quiet, great amenities - Love this hotel. Clean and very quiet, has all the amenities you might need, even toothbrushes. Only minor niggle is that the mattress is very hard. Have encountered this in most Japanese hotels, but these ones seem especially hard. Great hotel and will stay again.
- David (8/5): Airport stay - Was a bit disappointed that the restaurant closes before 10, but besides that it was good.
Breakfast was superb and you can walk from Terminal 1
- Tamara (4/5): - Stay away. My room had no air. They moved me. This room air worked. Still musty smell. Says non smoking but I smelled smoke. Very run down. Staff is quite nice
- James (6/5): Motel - Not the cleanest or most comfortable hotel. Is similar to american motels. We stayed here because we had an early flight the next morning. I wouldn't stay for any other reason other than catching an early flight.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Convenient for the Airport and decent breakfast were the highlights of this hotel.
- Ron (8/5): Good - We were happy with our stay, the hotel is definitely dated but was clean and good value for the money.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It can be accessed from the terminal 1 by 15 min walking out of the building or by a shuttle every 20 min. Good for a night between flights.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Just so handy to the airport. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast.
- Steven (6/5): - The bed quality is terrible
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Bit old in appearance but everything worked as it should.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This hotel is very close to Narita terminal 1 building and get there by walk for dinner.
- David (8/5): A nice hotel. The linen could be cleaner. - The hotel was well presented, in a good location and was a fair price. All was well except the linen. Both the pillow case and bath towels had a yellow tinge. They are long overdue a change and were unpleasant to use. The bath towels were also incredibly small.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's an older property in dire need of an upgrade, but it is clean and super well located for easy and quick access to/from Narita (there is a free shuttle). Staff are super friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very quiet and very close to the airport. So close we chose to walk.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The rest house is convieniently located, only a shuttle ride from the Narita airport, and has a restaurant and many vending options inside for food. Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff are very kind and helpful. Overall, very nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Shuttle Service excellent, prompt and helpful driver.
- JDS (4/5): - Convenient to airport but carpets water stained . Flat pillows.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - only a 5 minute walk from terminal one, can use free shuttle but so close easier to walk.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close to Narita AP. Clean and affordable with a polite staff and a great breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very close to the airport, convenient. Amenities very adequate.
- Dominique (10/5): - Hôtel tout proche de l airport avec un système de navettes toujours à l l'heure
- john (6/5): Excellent location! - The hotel is old and tired - but the location is wonderful - the bus between terminals run on time. Breakfast buffet is “ok” but nothing to write home about. If you have an early flight this is a good choice!
- PETER (8/5): Airport staying. - A very basic hotel within walking distance to terminal 1 or use the free shuttle bus, it sould be able to satisfy your needs for an overnight stay at the airport.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - just perfect for airport accommodation, so helpful, convenient and accessible. Had two really lovely and restful stays, with perfect complimentary coach transfers to terminals
- EileenB (10/5): - This hotel is on airport property so very convenient to airport and the airport transportation hub. Frequent shuttles to/from airport. Quiet, comfortable, and a great breakfast buffet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The closest hotel to Terminal 1 and takes about 5-10 minutes to walk there from the North Terminal, although their is a shuttle bus service available. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and decor are a little dated, but are clean and spacious for a Japanese hotel. Dinner in the restaurant is good value for a hotel. The breakfast buffet is a little expensive, but worth it.
A great place to stay either before or after a long flight.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The shuttle bus to the airport and staff were very helpful. As I stayed only one night (arrived late evening and left early morning) staff assistance was extremely important. The room and amenities were excellent as well.
