Guest Reviews
- Hicks (10/5): -
- Hicks (10/5): - I was very content. My stay was relaxing, quiet and peaceful, and that was what I enjoyed.
- Cabrera (10/5): -
- John (10/5): - Easy inn easy out. Wifi is spotty.
- Heather (1/5): Uncomfortable - Terrible Not clean out dated
- Bazan Ramírez (2/5): -
- Steve (4/5): - Air conditioning only positive. The front desk was full of trash, carpets were filthy. Bed was comfortable but sheets were wrinkled . Whole place could use a facelift and few gallons of bleach.
- Julie (2/5): - Bed was comfortable Run down, cobwebs everywhere. Entrance doors are unable to lock, musty smelling, and breakfast area never open on time. Air-conditioning poor, filthy entry and office area, bathroom sink needs replacing and drains in poor condition. Dirty ice machine and carpets in hallways were never vacuumed in 6 days!!!!!!!!!
- Esther (2/5): Bring cleaning supplies. - Easy to find. First room i got was stink like mold, wet carpeting and particles of paper on the floor. I asked for a better room and I got a bathroom that wasn't cleaned from the tenant before(soap bar in the shower) mud on the floor and so dusty everywhere. The bed was clean. No coffee at breakfast, only cold cereal and toast. Dirty lobby, stairs and halls. Never again!
- Buddy (2/5): - The laundry room is for employees only. I dont understand why advertise its open but onky for employees. There was a dog in a hot car with the windows up and the only thing the front desk said was “they dont want the dog inside”
- Zachrey (4/5): - Poorly maintained
- Thelmi (1/5): - Nothing Place was horribly dirty and run down. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. Bathroom dirty!! Front desk an absolute mess. The entire property smells of old smoke and filth.. This place needs to shut down!!
- Shae (4/5): - Receptionist was rude. Floors were filthy. Bathroom was dirty. Towels and sheets were stained.
- Cindy (2/5): - The owners of this property obviously haven't spent any money to update or clean this property in a very long time. Everything is very old, worn and dirty. The guy that checked us in grunted about 3 words total to us. There was a lot of hair in the tub and the towel and linens were yellow and spotted. We found a used towel on the hook of the bathroom door. We wouldn't have stayed except we were in town for a funeral and didn't know where else to stay. I am glad I brought Clorox wipes to clean the room. We also bought towels and linens and washed them at the laundromat so I could sleep at night. I have never been happier to leave a place than this hotel. I do not recommend this hotel.
- Kirk (4/5): - I know it is the off season, and it was very cheap, but it was dirty and there was no breakfast (not even coffee) as it said there would be.
- Anna (6/5): - Clean and fine especially for a short trip. Nothing fancy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): If I had better options… - There was hair in the bath tub, the microwave was broken, the heater/ ac is so loud you have to have your tv up super loud, there was no breakfast just cold cereal with no milk and just bread for a toaster. No hot water or hot coffee…..
- Levi (2/5): I'll drive to pierre and pay for more fuel before ever thinking about staying again - The room was warm and spacious which was great Breakfast was toast
No vending machines
Staff was grouchy and rude
The room was dirty
The end table was broken the TV stand was rotting away
- Lindsee (4/5): - Cleaned but not well. Had dead bugs and trash on the floors.
- Kris (3/5): Poor - Not much to like here. This hotel is very dirty and run down.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was decent as always. Walked into it seeing a broken chair. Employee knew about it. I’ve seen it in the past, still not replaced. The morning before I left I was able to see behind the front counter with the door open. I was really displeased. Will I come back- yes. Because it’s sometimes along my route. Could not add photo’s
- Josh (3/5): Poor - Blood and other stains on all of the sheets
- Banda (10/5): Other than that it was great to there - Everything was ok My room was on the opposite side where I park my car
- Verified traveler (8/5): - My room was comfortable and clean.
- Kyle (6/5): Not so clean - Partial messy floor. Hair in sink. Dirty shower curtain.
- Nicole (2/5): - This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever been to. I have staying in motels in towns of about 100 people that were 10 times better than this hotel. You walk towards the door and there is broken glass everywhere. Go inside and the carpet is stained and disgusting. The smell of mold and mildew is terrible. The air conditioning did not work well and in some rooms did not work at all. Our room had bed bugs, so we left right away. They cancelled the reservation but went to get a refund and the manager told Expedia that there was nothing wrong with the room. Expedia helped me out wonderfully but this property is a night mare. We had a whole wedding staying at this hotel and everyone had issues. One couple even walked into a dirty room. Bed not made and garbage everywhere. Others had to wear flip flops in the shower. If I could leave a negative rating I would.
- Roger (6/5): - the room was okay and comfortable. I was there 8 nites and no cleaned my room emptied trash. I did receive clean towels I think on the 4th day. Manager was friendly, told me he was going to have my room cleaned the next day if he could but was never done. The space in the lobby was very small. Said all he had available for breakfast was cereal. Outside area had alot of weeds growing up all around it. No signage visible from main road into town. Got the impression the manager didnt have enough or any help. I never saw anybody except the guy who checked me in who I guess was the manager. Bed was very comfortable but there was a broken office chair in room that was pushed under the table. I am in the process of moving to Millerin next couple of months and I wont stay there and I wont advise anyone else to stay there either.
- Bonham (3/5): Would not go back - The room was clean but the rest of the hotel wasn't and there was nothing there for breakfast dry cereal with no milk and bread for toast but no butter was all they had
- Jill (8/5): - Room was good clean air conditioner was loud
- Eli (2/5): - The shower curtain was covered in mold. They never took the previous customer's trash out of the room. The freezer was dirty and full of mold. The carpets were nasty. Would not recommend staying here, ever!
- Nathan (4/5): - I knew walking in the building it would be bad, but was hoping for at least clean. It was not. Mildewy shower and curtain. Bathroom floor not cleaned, well at least. Very depressing stay.
- Diane (8/5): - Great price for a good room
- Kyle (8/5): - The 1st room I found dead bugs & a life weed growing through the window, obviously unpleasant. I requested a 2nd room, for the most part was better but had a slight odor in or near the bathroom area. Other than this, it was a nice quiet stay.
- Kyle (8/5): - The 1st room given to me, I found crusty bugs & a live plant growing through the windowsill. I requested a 2nd room, for the most part was better but had a slight odor in or near the bathroom area. Other than this, it was a nice quiet stay, looking forward to coming back.
- Diane (8/5): - The breakfast was coffee, cereal, toast. No hot food.
- Delwain (4/5): Disappointing - Air conditioner didn’t work
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not good very unfriendly - Advertised continental breakfast was not any. Not any what was there was cold . Prices were pretty steep. Should refund price of breakfast since there wasn't any, had to go and buy breakfast somewhere else
- David (10/5): - Convient
- David (10/5): - Secure
- Wanda (8/5): Mini vacation - It was quiet N/A
- Kyle (8/5): - Everything was good with my room except for the floor. It definitely showed that it was not all vacuumed.
- Bengtson (4/5): Disappointing - Room fairly clean Office very dirty and doors locked, outside parking lot lot of loose gravel and sand we were on motorcycle would pay more for cleaner place
- Mike (2/5): Didn’t feel safe - Trash and pallets at entrance, office was full of stuff. Looked like drug deals going on in the parking lot
- Gregory (4/5): - The facilities were rundown, dirty and worn.
- Dee (2/5): - Dated, dirty, old, room had mold in bathroom and spider webs in room. Do not stay here!
- Aaron (2/5): - Stay at the Dew Drop Inn across the highway, the Super 8 is a dump.
Multiple code violations, for example, smoke detectors are store bought and not hard wired in to receptacle, and none of them have a bettery in them either. Emergency Exit lighting doesn't work, place is falling apart, literally.
- Deborah (4/5): - Not a clean room. The bed had a bad smell. Dust everywhere. Bathroom had hair on the floor. Toilet not clean.
- Kyle (8/5): Good stay POOR behavior - The room was good. The front desk behavior of the individual I felt was very poor. I stood at the front counter for at least 90 seconds. I wasn’t even acknowledged that I was even there. The guy didn’t even make a statement that “I will be with you in a moment”, or even a “welcome to super8”.
- Kevin (10/5): - Good price. Clean
- Shannon (10/5): good stay - pretty decent hotel for a small town ,was very clean in the room,
- David (10/5): - Great
- Contessa (1/5): Bad - The bed was about the only comfortable thing about my stay due to a blizzard stranding me and a car breaking down. The room was filthy, the ceiling was falling apartment freezer on either side of the fridge was disgusting! The shower hadn't been cleaned with streaks of dirtiness and an extremely slow draining drain. The desk clerk was rude and condescending. Someone needs to properly train for a hospitality position. I've worked in hospitality this has been by far the worst experience I've had! The breakfast offered no milk for cold cereals, no jelly, jam, or butter for the stale bread offered.
- Wendy (1/5): This was a let down. and then to be slapped in the face with a refund of only $16.55. We drove 4 hrs - Nothing Clean the room. Make sure there are not other guests hairs etc. on the surfaces. Put items where they belong. Make sure that everything in the room functions. Like the heating and cooling unit, lamps/lighting.
- Craig (4/5): Disappointing -
- Craig (5/5): To say they have breakfast is not true. The coffee was more like tea. - Easy to get to my room The entry way was dirty the room was not dirty but I have stayed in better.
- Robert (8/5): - This is a basic place at a basic price..not fancy but fine for hunters. The breakfast is weak..but the staff more pleasant than last year.
- Kenneth (6/5): You Get What You pay For - Inexpensive hotel - good for hunters. Pretty run down, but clean.
- Scott (8/5): - Not fancy, but a decent night's stay in an area without too many other options. I would stay here again.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (4/5): Sad stay in Miller - Hotel building was old and worn out. Looks like maintenance was by amateurs. Dust on bed headboard. Very skimpy breakfast.
Front desk was not equipped with any cash. I tried to get change for $20 to tip housekeeper. They couldn’t give change. In sympathy, I left the 20.
- Renetta (6/5): - This facility is sorely in need of remodeling. It appears owners are attempting to slowly update I assume as they can afford it. Example the faucets in my room appeared to be somewhat new but the rest of the bathroom was pretty awful.
- Justin (2/5): - If you're looking for terrible service, mold, unclean sheets, and dark corridors, look no further. The Super 8 by Wyndham in Miller South Dakota is easily one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.
- Samantha (2/5): - The outside had garbage everywhere. The guy working the dest was not very friendly seamed anoyed at his job. Halways look like they are never cleaned and there was vomit on the stairs that was never taken care of. The room was ok. The towels and wash cloths didnt look that clean. It was not a good place to stay.
- Theresa (7/5): Never stay there again!! - Not much, no coffee in morning Ceiling tiles in room wet and falling through
Was scary couldn’t change room none available. I can’t believe they rented this room. Was clean despite ceiling!! Breakfast was a joke cereal and juice nothing else available at counter no staff available to help us.
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable -
- Colleen (2/5): - No coffee in room or lobby. No breakfast as stated. No staff available.
- Dale E (6/5): - It looked like there was sometime of remodeling
- Zheng-Wen (8/5): - ok
- Jared (10/5): - Room was spotless, and updated. The lobby and breakfast area were a different story. Lots of "junk" laying around made it seem dirty.
- Harris (9/5): Superb - was very clean and nice breakfast want good but everything else was
- Harris (9/5): Superb - was very clean and nice breakfast wasn't the best
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor management - The manager there is no too friendly and not welcoming at all. He made things very difficults
- Ed (3/5): minimal facilities-not worth the $90 cost. - easy to find-corner of two highways small room, load A/C unit with grill missing inside the room, building was “tired”-never remodeled since being built about 1970.
very minimal breakfast selection-guessing juice in pitcher was not labeled.
- Monica (4/5): - The motel was ok for the price. It was a place to lay your head down, but I will not choose to stay there again. There was pubic hair in the shower, the bed was filthy and I do not believe the halls or stairs have been vacuumed for an extremely long time. The motel was safe, but very dirty.
- Cheley (10/5): - Good customer service comfortable rooms!
- sara (6/5): - customer service at checkin could be more welcoming and friendly. He definately does not appear to enjoy his job...maybe he will have a better day tomorrow.
- Michael (10/5): - Clean
- sara (4/5): - staff was not friendly nor helpful at checkin. Made me feel like an inconvenience.
- Samantha (4/5): - Room wasnt very clean. TV didnt work. Had a hard time figuring out how to work the heat and it was extreamly noisy. Walls were patched and not finished.
- Rallie (8/5): Very good -
- Mike (1/5): Bad - very dirty place
- Daniel (10/5): Nice. Place. Quiet. Stay Every year -
- Kristina (10/5): Great quality for a great price - Clean and comfortable room Nothing
- Soren (3/5): for the price of nearly 100$ this was not good value for money - The Location the reception was messy - the room had a bad smell - the carpets were worn down and dirty
- Peggi (5/5): Passable - Comfortable bed and pillows Seemed ran down
- Janet (4/5): - When you want into front desk it looks very very dirty and unkept. Had very small dining area, there was dogs running around and people looked very dirty folding bedding on the tables. I mean their clothes were dirty and stained of sweat. Outside property very unkept. The room was okay.
- Patrick (4/5): - Shower faucet was too short. Bed was hard. Breakfast was advertised to start at 7 am, but door was locked and had to go to a local place for breakfast. Will not stay there again.
- Gregory (8/5): Above average overall. - The beds comfort had a lot to be desired. I would recommend updating all mattresses to memory foam. That is the only thing this Super 8 needs. The people servicing and managing this Super 8 get a Super 10. I will definitely stay here again. Hopefully they can update the outdated mattresses. I recommend this Super 8.
- Ami (2/5): - The property was old and run down. Shower and sink did not work. Front desk clerk rude with kids running around all day/night. One of the worst places I have stayed.
