- Carrie (10/5): - Mike is always so friendly and helpful. When we go to Claresholm to visit family, we always stay here. Great breakfast as well.
Rooms are clean and the beds are super comfy. They have a few with two rooms. Some have 3 beds, others with two and singles as well.
I would highly recommend staying here!
- Christine (6/5): - The room was all right , clean. The over all impression I got after finding out the restaurant Connected was closed and the laundromat closed as well, was this place is struggling. Would personally rate it a 4/10. Vending machines are empty and no ice buckets . We booked thing we had a room with a table and chairs outside but we were inside at the end of an old dark hallway. Needs some definite loving and maybe a few updates.
- Jimbel (10/5): - So clean
- Teresa (6/5): - I

- Lorraine (8/5): - Property met my needs. It was a basic room with basic furniture.
- Mark (2/5): Dirty carpets and bed bugs - Staff were friendly. Room smelled like cleaner but the carpets had crusty stains on them and look like they had never been cleaned. Bedding looked clean but I woke up to bed bugs!!
- Carrie (10/5): - Friendly and informative staff.
- Melissa (10/5): - My room was larger than i thought it was gonna be. It was a nice surprise. Employee was nice and it was nice to wake up to some juice n muffins
- Kathy (6/5): - So we were just here for one night. It seems fairly clean but since there are stains it “feels” dirty. The bed was comfortable. There were soaps and shampoo, a fridge and decent sized tv. The whole place needs updated but it also wasn’t horrible if you keep in mind that it’s just old. It was just ok but the price was right.
- Mary (10/5): - Family is very sweet and take great pride in what they have.

- Zach (8/5): Great place to stay for a few nights. Would definitely stay again! - Breakfast was great. Room was well equipped with everything you’d need. Staff were very accommodating and had great customer service. The only thing was the bed was a bit uncomfortable and firm.
- Kenneth (10/5): Great Owner, Quiet Room - It was a great stay from the start, as the owner Mike had a hockey game on the lobby TV. That's what I like to see! He honored my request for a room away from any possible noise, and he was very informative on where to dine, where to buy gas, and how to get a ticket to an Edmonton Oilers game!
The room was very comfortable, and everything worked. The shower had lots of hot water, and the TV showed the Dodgers beat the Yankees. Yay!!!
I have never seen so many cereal choices for breakfast, and there were plenty of other options. I recommend this motel highly for convenience, comfort, and service.

- Alla (10/5): Great Roadside Motel Vibe - Lazy J has a great roadside motel vibe. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. Service is friendly and professional. It's not the Ritz. But we really liked it.

- Emily (8/5): - It would benefit from and outdoor seating park like space.
- Rebecca (9/5): Great value for price - breakfast was fine.beds were nice and firm water pressure great . Manager was a great Oiler fan cigarette butts out front perhaps provide receptables for garbage
- Clark (10/5): Awesome customer service - The customer service was excellent. One day before we were set to arrive, we discovered that our reservations were for the wrong day. (Completely my fault.) One call to the owner and it was fixed, no hassle, no lectures, no problems. On arrival, he let us pick the room setup that worked best for us, left the laundromat open a few minutes late for us, provided some information about the area, and was just a nice guy.
I'm not going to pretend that this hotel is fancy, chic, decorated, or high class. It's not. It is, however, clean, reasonably comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Our trip included 8 nights in 6 locations, and this one was the best value of them all.
- Clifford (8/5): Great stay at the Lazy J - Great location, and super comfortable beds. Simple place but meets all the needs you’d have. Nothing.
- Thulin (7/5): Good - My room was on the highway side of the Motel but I did not hear the traffic and the bed was very comfortable. I was a little worried because the Motel is a little run down looking from the outside but the room was dated but clean. Just a couple of minor complaints, the bathroom needed a towel bar or a few hooks in the bathroom in room 115, there was no where to hang towels. When we turned the air conditioner on some dust bunnies came out and on to the bedspread. A quick vacuum will fix that.
- Scott (10/5): - Great service man at the desk was fantastic ans welcoming will definitely be back for sure
- David (8/5): - Very nice motel, friendly desk staff, easy highway access, and a clean, comfortable room for an affordable price.
Would definitely stay here again
