C'est un hôtel où il fait bon pour se poser et profiter. RAS.

The pool has a lovely view of the temple and the roof terrace has a great view also. Simple but everything you need, would definitely recommend staying here 10/10 and great value for money! Comfortable and simple! The shower water pressure kept “pulsing” whenever we tried to shower which wasn’t great but there was hot water which was good.

Lim was super helpful. Everything he recommended was spot on for our family of 5. The elephant day out was just perfect. He even organised food for us with our allergies. Unfortunately the drains were bit stinky from time to time but that is usual.

We got took to our rooms which absolute stunk. There was patches of paint all over the wall where they covered damp on the walls. The bed was like sleeping on a brick. So we left after one day and would never return absolutely disgusting hotel. Also woke up with bites all over my body from bed bugs

The gym and rooftop were beautiful for a great view at sunrise and sunset. The room was very spacious. If there was space to lay around the pool in the sun that would’ve been great. The breakfast didn’t have that many vegan options but we still enjoyed it.

- Carly (4/5): Not somewhere I would pay to stay again - I write reluctantly a negative review of my time at SK House 2. Good pointers would be the strong wifi connection and pool facility. Also I was given an upper floor room with a nice view of the pool and temple, which I appreciated. Unfortunately that is where positive comments end. The rooms are not kept to hygienic standards. I found hairs on the floor upon arrival in multiple places. There were small ants in both the bedroom and in the bathroom. There was a poor shower function (cold and just sprayed water at the wall) and the sockets are not beside the bed head. While suitably sized, the bed is very hard. This was fine for two nights but not for any longer. A particular mention to the ‘fitness facility’. While photos on location advertise a treadmill, a pull down machine and some free weights, when I was there the treadmill was very much dead (broken), there was no pull down machine. There were two free weights to 10kg. When I approached the staff for assistance they showed little interest and no apology. There is no AC in the ‘fitness room’ either. My stay here was quite unpleasant and this was to be my review. I have stayed in 5 other locations during my time in Thailand this month including shared dorms for half the price and have had much better experiences in places cheaper. The lack of cleanliness I find particularly unforgivable. An ongoing issue I am encountering with again unhelpful owner is the issue that my card was charged for pre payment AND I was asked to pay in cash upon arrival. I spoke with a kind worker on my last evening there and spent an hour with him at reception. He was kind but indicated his boss would not refund the double payment, and to get on to Booking.com, which I had and who had advised me to ‘email the property’. I hope this matter resolves. Either way, if you would like a comfy and clean stay I would avoid this place unfortunately. Plenty other local options and I hope that the place can improve for future guests. - Serra (1/5): A place to avoid - The location was quiet. The tour to the elephants/bamboo rafting was very nice. The staff was lazy and rude, not helpful or arranging at all. The restaurant was only serving breakfasts ( if you could find someone to order it...). The pool has no edge to relax on a chair or lounger. We left after 4 nights and lost 3 nights because the service was so poor.

The fridge is not working when not in the hotel (electricity goes with the key) so not ideal if you want to refresh after exploring outside all day. Very basic rooms.

- Susan (7/5): Does what is says in the tin. - Staff very helpful. No lift. This was a big drawback. Reception area too hot, no a/c. I realise the frontage is open in the day time, but during the evening this does not encourage a social scene.

- Maclamont (3/5): beautiful before the Pandemic...Now...Very shabby! - I arrived in the afternoon and checked out early next morning The view out of my window of the Buddhist stupa was lovely! When I arrived with my rucksack the man at the office checked me into a room on the top floor! 3 floors and 6 flights of stairs up! I am 78 he offered me no help at all! so I told him I wanted a different room! It was then I was told that all the Fan only rooms were on the top floor....this is not in the information on the web site! I paid extra for a room on a lower floor with "air con" which I didn't want? The furniture in the room as Old and only one plug available to charge phone or computer and that was on the floor at the bottom of the bed! no bedside lights.. Not remotely worth the money! The WiFi was absolutely terrible!

- Guillermo (6/5): Carefull slme rokms come wif no aircom and if u wanna move the chatge u 200 extra per night - The room given did not have aircon and only have a fan that blew hot air at 40 degrees. Had to get my room changed after 20 minutes and inwas charged 200 extra per night for a room with aircon. Also the room was never cleaned the 4 nights i was thwre

- Danilo (8/5): Very good - The staff were really helpful and hept us to change the room to one with AC. The guesthouse is well located as well near many temples and tourists spots. Due to guest do not respect no smoking areas, our room smelled weed and cigarette the whole time.
