• James (9/5): A really nice experience which made the stay in Volterra a memorable one. - This is a great place to stay in Volterra - central and full of character. The staff are most helpful and welcoming and the breakfast is a real treat. It also has an elevator for those who find stairs a problem. Like most accommodation in this part of Italy, the check-in time at 3pm is often inconvenient if there may be nowhere to stow your luggage if you arrive earlier. As the staff are not in the building we had to ask the staff at the tourist office to do the for us - they were most kind and helpful as this is not part of their normal job.

• Lara (10/5): Grazie allo staff e soprattutto alla signorina di turno sabato sera, torneremo! - L'accoglienza è servita a farci sentire subito a nostro agio. Nonostante sia in centro e la nostra camera sia stata affacciata su una delle vie principali, era silenziosa e abbiamo riposato benissimo. Lo staff gentilissimo e professionale. La camera è grande, il letto comodissimo. Purtroppo ci siamo fermati una sera soltanto e a malincuore siamo dovuti ripartire, ma torneremo senz'altro! Grazie mille ❤️

• Grant (10/5): Perfect place to stay in a perfect town - The staff demonstrated extreme kindness and care when a challenging situation arose before arrival. They made me feel welcome and helped settle me in even though I arrived late. The hotel is charming, and every detail has been thought through. Breakfast was nice, available at assigned tables.

Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile sia nel rispondere ad alcune richieste che nel suggerirci cosa visitare e dove mangiare. La colazione era davvero abbondante, sia dolce che salata, e tutto era davvero di alta qualità. Consiglio assolutamente!

• Leonardo (8/5): In centro a Volterra - Posizione eccezionale. Hotel accogliente incluso personale. Camera tranquilla. Bagno ottimo e caldo. Camera ben arredata. Il parcheggio auto più vicino è a 100 m, quindi comodo, ma costa 15€ al giorno. Se si vuol abbattere costo del parcheggio ve ne sono altri più lontani; a secondo dei bagagli che si hanno la distanza potrebbe essere un problema. Una considerazione in merito alla colazione, proposta a 15 € persona. A mio avviso un po' eccessiva.

Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt. - Das Hotel war in der Altstadt gelegen daher konnte man alles gut zu Fuss erreichen, da diese kleine Stadt Autofrei ist. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war klein aber fein. Zimmer waren sauber. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Nur eine Regendusche war mir persönlich zu wenig da dies beim Haare waschen etwas mühsam war aber das ist ansichtssache daher ist das jetzt nicht als Kritik gemeint sondern als persönliches Empfinden.

Prima prijs kwaliteitverhouding. - Als je een koffer hebt is het hotel een beetje lastig bereikbaar aangezien je slecht met de auto in het centrum kunt komen. Die kun je in de garage parkeren, maar dan moet je wel even 100 mtr met je koffer bergopwaarts sjouwen. De bereikbaarheid viel tegen.

The top floor stair light didn’t come on automatically so we used our flashlights to see the first few steps until we reached the elevator.

• Blake (10/5): - We stayed in the suite for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful jumping off point for Tuscany. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfast options were also great. Volterra is a sizable town and on the tourist trail for people coming in from Florence for sure, but we still had no trouble getting restaurant reservations and things were much more quiet in the evenings.
