Guest Reviews
- JEGAN (2/5): - Need to improve hospitality honestly respect online booking
I did inline booking confirmation they not accept while little less price expect regular price but not worth it
- Ruben (10/5): - Very clean.enough towels .
- Alan (2/5): - The price is way too high for this outdated place
- Pedro Angel (10/5): - Bien en general
- Kenneth (4/5): - Clean room…no water pressure in shower….water temp balance was terrible…
- Rick (8/5): - Satisfactory room. No breakfast, but right across the street from a Speedway that prepared fresh burritos that were quite tasty.
- Brian (10/5): - Easy place off interstate to sleep 4 the night w/o being in El Paso...makes it easy to start ur day off w/o having 2 start in the city.
- KYLE (6/5): - Did not accept the reservation pricing from Expedia. We had to choose this motel or we’d stay somewhere nicer to cheaper.
- Miranda (10/5): - Good stay! Very comfortable!!
- Robert (6/5): - We were traveling back to Waco,TX. The hotel was very clean, the only bad thing was the bed. The hotel would get a higher overall if the beds weren't so hard.
- Sylvia (2/5): - They was very rude they kick me out just for having have a family members coming to see me and my kids
- Oscar (2/5): - Not a great place to stay
- John (10/5): - Very nice couple that own the motel . Very clean and friendly staff, also very attentive to guests
- Diane (8/5): Fabens - Pleasantly surprised. Middle of nowhere....clean and good service.
- James (8/5): Doors - sentry door had to slam to open or close. Bath doo
- Rodney (8/5): - Cheap little motel. Had to spend 20 mon looking around to find the owner. Quiet and uneventful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Only two rooms rented out and they put us right next to the most inconsiderate group ever. They partied, screamed, yelled all night and early morning. Worse group ever. Complained, but it continued! No offer to move us at all. Room was clean, i think.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Front desk accused me of lying to them about my dogs. They said they asked me if I had dogs. I was never asked. They told me there was an extra charge for having dogs. I told them they never asked if I had dogs. If they would have, I would have told them I had them. In the end they charged me $15 per dog! My dogs don’t shed, pee, or poop in the room. I would gladly pay a fee for having dogs, but to pay double is outrageous!
- sandy (2/5): - Set up the reservation with expedia, when I arrived at the hotel! I was charged a higher amount, I showed my reservation from Expedia, I was told they would not honor my reservation.
- Jonathan (10/5): Location is nice - Convenient location outside of El Paso
- Verified traveler (6/5): - AFFORDABLE BUT NEEDS UPDATED BEDS THE ARE UNCOFORTABLE
- Lawrence (8/5): Simple, clean, and conveniently located. - The front desk staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The room was simple and clean, with TV, refrigerator and microwave. Also, we were pulling a trailer and they were helpful in accommodating our parking needs. Nice little oasis in West Texas on a long road trip!
- John (4/5): - The manager/owner has a terrible attitude he gave me a key that wouldn't work and then got mad and scream at me because the door wouldn't open. He even said he'll refund my money and leave because i was causing him to much trouble. The thing is that it wasn't even my fault the key wasn't working properly
- Kei (2/5): - The staff are very rude. Also, the room was so loud that you won't be able to get some sleep because it's in front of the truck stop. Also, they overcharged me. When you book them, make sure to not expect breakfast unlike what they said in their website as the lady told me they don't provide breakfast for 8 years now so I don't know why they would put that in their website in the first place. They even told me to check on Expedia and I did and took a screenshot of it that says free Continental breakfast. Do not stay here. I'll go drive down further for a better hotel for your money. They even provided an opened shampoo container for us.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I was very dissapointed when i got there i had reserved it thru expedia and they said they had breakfast and when i got there they said no .. And expedia gave me a price and when i got to the motel they said that was not included tax so i had to pay more then what expedia told me and the room was not clean very dissapointing
- Kelie (4/5): Do not stay here - No extra towels for 3 people
Double beds only available
For the price I would have driven farther had I known...very disappointed! Uncomfortable surroundings on new years eve.
- BEEGEES (2/5): - Older motel. Needs bathroom update. Difficult to regulate shower water. No stopper for tub to bathe. Bathroom VERY small. No outlet in sink area. Across street from truck stop. Quite noisy. Room dark, not enough lighting. no breakfast.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - very sketchy location
did not offer breakfast, even though it was listed as an amenity
room was 86* F when I walked in
- Javier (8/5): - Good motel but there was an unpleasant smell at the beginning but after turn on the air condition it disappear.
- Luther (10/5): Comfortable, convenient - I've been here a few times. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It's right by the highway, very convenient. Quiet and clean, and inexpensive.
- Kathi (4/5): - Room had really bad smell. Free breakfast I was told is the coffee in your room. Would not recommend to anyone.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Only real choice in Fabens - We stayed here but cause it was really the only hotel near the Cattleman's Restaurant at Indian Cliffs Ranch. The staff was very friendly, kind, and on top of the things. But it's still a kind of rundown hotel near the interstate and a truck stop so it's noisy. Our room was clean, but had that musty smell like they've had to use air freshener one time too many. Price was right.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - 1. He tried to make me pay more than the price I got from the Hotels.com by saying that the price
that Hotels.com gave me was only for one person. I had to show him the confirmation email that Hotels.com sent me. It stated that I booked for 2 persons, not only one.
2. No free breakfast as stated. He explained that there are restaurants near by so he does not have permit to have free breakfast.
3. No wifi. We could not get into internet.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Reserved a room with king size bed. When we got there they asked us if we wanted one or two beds. Did NOT mention that two beds would cost more. They tried to overchare us $15, so we ended up being moved to original room that we reserved after we had already settled in. Very unnecessary.
- Carol (8/5): Clean but noisy with limited big rig parking. - Nice small room, king bed uncomfortable, room clean, Mexican restaurant next door, parking for trucks pulling trailer only available on road in front of motel, directly across the road from truck stop and major road going into Fabens so lots of traffic noise.
- Mary k (8/5): Faben Stay - Although the hotel was old and the furnishings were very sparse, it was clean and sufficient for just one night. The price was also reasonable. They said it provided breakfast, but when I left at 7 AM, I found no one in the office to ask where it was located.
- ashley (2/5): - Bad location, rooms are terrible, nasty, uncomfortable.
- martin (6/5): - this hotel was chosen for proximity to a restaurant that we wanted to visit and its acceptance of pets(for which there is a charge). It did have coffee in the room as well as a microwave and refrigerator. No breakfast available. The bed was comfortable and the cooling system noisy. It did provide for our basic needs and therefore was acceptable
- Gerald (2/5): traveling through - I would not recomend this hotel! Room extremely small, had to beg water to come out of the shower and afraid to walk barefoot in carpet because looked dirty. Staff was rude and very unfriendly.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Go to another hotel. - The owner was rude. She was mad that I used Expedia and wasn't paying full price. There was a blood stain on one of my pillow cases!
If I wasn't biking across country, I would have left that place and drove to another hotel!
- Tony (6/5): - old place, but clean, thin pillows, sheets, towels etc.could stay in el paso for the same price and lot nicer room.
- Robert (6/5): Too much out of the way, nothing going on, 1night - Wouldn't stay there again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Will Stay Again - I was working in the area and had a really great 2 week stay at the Fabens Inn. It is an older motel but all in all the owners are doing a great job. The room was very clean on arrival. Excellent Direct TV. The bed was comfortable and the owners do the housekeeping. They work hard and keep the rooms very clean. I had fresh towels daily. even when I hung them up to be re-used. My room had a good coffee maker, a microwave, and although an older one it worked just fine. The refrigerator was a little smaller than I would like to have, but it also worked just fine. I usually get my milk in gallons but they would not fit so half gallon jugs work as well.
The only real compliant I would have is the shower head and bath faucet. Although functional, the faucet was a little difficult to get adjusted to a good temperature and the shower head adjustment did not work quite right. But that could be due the lack of water pressure.
I do a lot of work in the El Paso area and I would and will stay here again. to me it does not make sense to drive to El Paso to stay at one of the chain hotels when the Fabens Inn has all the things I need.
- Jim (8/5): Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable - If you're looking for a basic room for the night, easy to find, and no fancy frills, this is a good place. The room had the standard amenities: fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and TV. There's also a good restaurant for breakfast right next door so you can get something in your belly before heading down the road.
