There are good storage for skis and heaters for the boots. Staff is super kind and accommodating. A truly great place to stay in Bad Gastein There was not a single thing to complain about

• Jan (9/5): Home away på bästa sätt! - Mkt välrenoverat och välskött. Ägaren på plats och tillgänglig dagligen, mkt välkomnande och hjälpsam. Frukosten generös. Läget svårslaget centralt, på en stillsam sidogata med utsikt över dalen och omgivande berg. Det är en speciell känsla att sitta på pensionatets balkong och se NER på ortens mest berömda hotell!
• Konstantina (10/5): - Wir hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Pension. Der Gastgeber war sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und hatte immer tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet, ebenso die Sanitäranlagen. Besonders das reichhaltige und leckere Frühstück hat uns begeistert. Nach einem langen Wandertag haben wir auch die Sauna genutzt, eine echte Wohltat. Die Lage ist perfekt: Der Stubnerkogel und die Felsentherme sind in nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, genauso wie viele andere Ziele. Alles in allem ein großartiger Aufenthalt, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank! Es war alles super !

• Maria (10/5): Fantastiskt boende med bra läge. - Fantastik utsikt från balkongen och bra centralt läge. Mycket bra och fräsch frukost. Fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam värd som hjälpte till med det mesta samt gav förslag på vandringsleder och aktiviteter med hänsyn till väder och svårighetsgrad.
• Vivian (9/5): Winterwandelen rondom Bad Gastein - De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk en de kamer brandschoon (en wordt iedere dag schoongemaakt). Het ontbijt was uitgebreid. Iedere dag kregen we tips voor wandelingen in de buurt. De bushalte, treinstation en het thermaalbad ligt op loopafstand. Ook zijn er diverse restaurants in de buurt. De plaats Bad Gastein kent grote hoogteverschillen. Niet geschikt voor mensen die minder goed ter been zijn. Er rijden wel bussen en taxi's naar het centrum beneden.

The room was very big and always warm and cosy despite the cold outside, and you could also place winter equipment in dedicated areas. Sigi also made sure we had a place to park our car. And if you don't have a car, the location is absolutely greatflr everything. I totally recommend!

• Barbara (9/5): Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. - Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Die Unterkunft ist familiär und sehr sauber, die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Die Pension liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof, zur Felsentherme und zur Gondel, ist aber trotzdem ruhig.

• Claudia (10/5): Sehr gute familiär geführte Pension - Die Pension St. Leonhard ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Der Besitzer und alle Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man hat immer schöne Ausflugstipps bekommen. Das Zimmer war schön, das Bad frisch renoviert. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich dass hervorragende Frühstücksbuffet. Die Felsentherme ist fußläufig kurz die Straße herunter sogar mit Bademantel erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Leider wurden während unserem Aufenthalt Baumaßnahmen am Bahnhof durchgeführt. Dafür kann natürlich der Hotelbesitzer nichts. Aber morgens um 7 Uhr begannen gleich die Arbeiten mit Presslufthammer.

• Tom (10/5): - Majitelé naprosto úžasní a milí lidé. Přivítají Vás s úsměvem na rtech, se vším ochotně poradí a pomohou. Paní uklízečka také velmi milá, ochotná a usměvavá dáma. Umístění perfektní. Do lázní asi 100m, nádraží a obchod asi 300 m a lanovka na Stubnerkogel cca 600m. Byli jsme naprosto spokojeni.

• Jack (10/5): Fantastisk dejlig oplevelse, som vi godt kunne finde på at gøre om - Meget venlig vært, et dejligt værelse, god morgenmad og et ekstra plus var, at værten havde reserveret parkering lige ved døren. Dejligt sted. Kan ikke finde noget at være negativ over.

Owners of this little hotel, family Gsaller were very nice and always ready to help to their guests and always at their service. We had very big, nice room with nice balcony with phenomenal view on beautiful nature in the surrounding area. Bathroom was very big and perfectly clean. Breakfast was very good, with excellent choice of food and beverage. nothing particular.

Sigi ist ein toller Gastgeber, aufmerksam und freundlich, der uns viele gute Tipps gegeben hat. Die Lage direkt bei der Therme und nah am Ortszentrum ist auch genial. Der Kaffee könnte etwas stärker sein 😉

• Michael (10/5): Prima pension för skid- eller vandringssemester - Gästvänlig familjedriven pension nära stationen och det enorma termalbadet. Enkelt men rent och snyggt och fin utsikt från balkongen. Bra sängar och badrum. Ägarna är hjälpsamma och engagerade och har fina förslag till utflykter.
• Florin (10/5): Good experience! - The Pension St.Leonhard meet or exceeded our expectations. We arrived @20h and the owner provided us all details for a fast check-in. The variety of food at breakfast is amazing, with local specialties, vegetables, fruits, cereals and more, it exceeds a 3* hotel by far. Breakfast does not include fried eggs and bacon. However, boiled eggs and prepared salad are always present. The room is very spacious and comfortable, and there is an amazing view of the mountains from the room terrasse. The staff were very friendly and helpful providing us, every morning, with small tips to make our mountain adventure more pleasant, identify the best combination for our planning and make a lot of savings. We return here on the first occasion to continue our mountain adventure in Gastein! Thank you Sigi!!!

It is close to the supermarket, train and bus stations. The host was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. • Christiane (9/5): Recommend to everyone! - The location and the staff are the most valuable for this stay. It’s close to the gondola that even the laziest can be happy (ie, me) and the thermal baths are even closer. The town is hilly but it’s a doable hike up after a day on skis. The staff - really your host - is worth the stay. While there is a sauna on site, you have to pay for it and you have to plan in advance to use it. But that’s such a minor inconvenience.

Es wurde zudem auf unsere Unverträglichkeiten Rücksicht genommen und das Frühstück war überdies sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker! Außerdem konnten wir früher einchecken und nach unserem Checkout unser Gepäck in der Herberge lassen sowie uns selbst im Gemeinschaftsraum aufhalten! Es war eine schöne und angenehme Zeit! ☺️

• Blanka (10/5): Absolutely exceptional - If you want to spend a beautiful holiday in a pleasant environment and in a beatiful accomodation, this is a safe bet :-). Everything is clean, the romms are beautifully equipped, on the ground floor you can make coffee or tea during the day and everything is available. The owners are very weloming people who are always helpful and nothing is problem for them. We spent a week there and the surrounding mountains are beautiful. It is worthwhile to buy an Almorama card for the cable cars online, when you get a favorable price and a big discount. We paid the Almorana card 60 Euro and could choose 3 cable cars in 7 days there and back in the price of the card. We definitely recommend a trip to the Himmelwandhutte, where it is worth tasting their strudel offering. The path leads along a promenade and a beautiful valley. We really liked the cable trip to Fulsck and the beautiful lake, there is something for everyéone :-). Thanks to the nice people and the beautiful place, we are definitely planning to come back here and see the rest of nature that we missed :-). Thank you :-) There is nothing to mention :-).

The location was excellent, the facilities were impeccably clean, and the view of the Gastein valley from the room's balcony was beautiful. Most of all, the breakfast was outstanding. A variety of delicious foods and drinks were freshly prepared every day. The host was very friendly and caring, and communication was excellent. The reasonable price was the icing on the cake. There is nothing more one could ask for. We plan to stay here again on our next visit. None

• Gunnar (10/5): Pension leonhard - Wonderful hotel located in Bad Gastein. Superb views from the hotel rooms. The rooms were modern and extremely well cleaned. The breakfast was very good! The hotel is close to the thermal pool and the stubnerkogel lift as well as good restaurants and communications The host, Sigi, makes you feel very welcome and taken care of, he hands you weather and piste information every morning at breakfast as well as any useful information we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The cleanliness of the room and the rest of the house was very pleasant and the calm atmosphere made it very easy to relax after a good day on the mountains. The host was very kind and friendly and provided some good information on a daily basis! The room could have been a bit more soundproof so that the people passing by could not be heard. Perhaps an additional door between the entrance and the sleeping area. Also could have used a bit more shelves for clothes.

I really appreciated I can eat healthy. The host is very very kind and ready to help you. Nice view from balcony. Short distance to Felsentherme and to bus stop. If you prefer cheaper food, I can recommend Kebap under Felsentherme. One bed was squeaky... Extra bed for daughter was quite hard.

Bra frukost, rent, bra vattentryck i duschen och med bästa läge i Bad Gastein. Nära till allt. Busshållplats, järnvägsstation, Sparlivs, ATM. Ligger precis ovanför Salzburger Hof. Fina rum och utsikt. Två typer av bastu och en solterass. Ingen egen resturang men nära till många andra i området. Vi kommer gärna igen.

• Michiel (10/5): Zeer gastvrij, heel goede kwaliteit - Van aankomst tot vertrek heb ik mij een zeer welkome gast gevoeld. De gastheer en zijn team doen voortreffelijk hun werk en stellen zich in de kleinschalige organisatie in op de gasten. Elke dag bij het ontbijt gaf de gastheer een papier met het weer en een paar goede tips, was oprecht belangstellend naar ervaringen. Een prima kamer, ruim en in warme kleuren, rustig, een koelkastje, goed bed, gemakkelijke badkamer, uitstekend ontbijtbuffet; vlak bij treinstation en bushalte; het centrum van Bad Gastein met de meeste voorzieningen ligt een stuk lager.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great staff, breakfast and location - Me and my girlfriend visited st Leonard last weekend, and we were welcomed by the owner of the hotel, who showed us around. The hotel has a very convenient location, 2 minute walk to a great spa and the ski lifts. The hotel staff is very service minded and make you feel taken care of. The breakfast is great and we were given daily weather forecast and advises from the staff, which ski area we should go to depending on the temperature. The hotel standard is not very fancy, but spacious rooms, with balcony facing the slopes. Great staff and breakfast combined with prime location, makes me want to recommend the place.

• Ulf (10/5): Nära till liftar, skidbuss och tågstationen - Kort pjäxpromenad till liften på morgonen, i nedförsbacke. Fast de bästa backarna finns högre upp i Sport Gastein dit det går buss som tar 15-20 minuter.
