Guest Reviews
- Clark (1/5): The are now rodeway inn and if you book under oyo they will not have a reservation for you. - Nothing didn’t have my reservation from booking.com. Got a $5 refund on a 2 day room. Staff rude and not even willing to help you.
- Robert (1/5): I want my money back. - Nothing I was denied my reservation and stay at this establishment.
- Chaison (1/5): -
- Michael (1/5): -
- Phil (1/5): New management under construction!!! - It is under new management and they do not honor bookings.com reservations Got scammed out of my hard earned money!!!
- Jeanette (7/5): -
- Stephen Pullum (3/5): -
- Abel (4/5): Problems with third party reservations - Have stayed there before with no issues They changed the name of hotel and not accept my reservation from third party vendor and had to pay again there and was told it was my problem to get my refund from third party vendor. Had to call booking.com twice to explain and request refund.
- MCALLISTER (1/5): No longer an Oyo Hotel - This hotel is no longer an Oyo Hotel. We arrived and were told that they had changed management, could not access the computer and were unable to honor our reservation or refund our money. I had to call booking.com in order to get a refund from them. Luckily, we were able to get a room at a nearby hotel.
- Crystal (1/5): Absolute NIGHTMARE! - NOTHING Refused our reservation! Traveled 8 hrs with a sick parent to be told that they wouldn't honor our reservation because we used a third party booking. We then scrambled to find other accommodations and had to get rooms at two different locations in another town.
- Chris (1/5): - Nothing they double charged me for the room. They had roaches!!!
- tina (9/5): - There are no longer an OYO hotel. You need to remove them or change the Hotel name on your site.
- Tim (1/5): Took reservation without rooms - Nothing Management
- Amanda (1/5): Horrible place and takes your money and doesn’t give it back and very judgmental - Nothing because when I got there they said they had no rooms even though I already booked ahead of time and paid for the room! And they wouldn’t give me my money back either so my trip ended and I had to go back home because I had no room to stay in! Everything! because when I got there they said they had no rooms even though I already booked ahead of time and paid for the room! And they wouldn’t give me my money back either so my trip ended and I had to go back home because I had no room to stay in!
- Jima (1/5): -
- Chris Chesley (2/5): REALLY BAD!!! - The bed was ok. Everything! When I arrived I was told that they no longer accept any 3rd party reservations, paid or not!! I was told that I would have to call booking to get my money back. If I wanted to stay, I had to pay them. It was late and I was tired, so I paid and stayed. Cock roaches and smoking smell in the room. Towels looked like postage stamps and were worn out. I will NEVER stay here again. I would rather camp in my tent. If I would have had it with me I would have.
- Joe (2/5): -
- Amanda (2/5): Not a pleasant experience - It was a place to lay my head. Room was fairly clean and somewhat comfortable. Not friendly at all. Not good customer service. Lots of noise and people hollering all hours of the night. Parking lot was tore up and had to be careful driving my new vehicle through there afraid I would hit a deep pothole. Conveniently located is the only positive. Will stay elsewhere when visiting the area again.
- Christopher (4/5): - We should have known this wasn't going to be good when we drove up when we saw two water heaters on the sidewalk outside the office, along with so old furniture there too. The parki g lot was trashed and the minute we stepped out of the car the waft of pot hit us immediately. The ceiling fan had 1 light that worked, there were holes in the walls, the bed was not comfortable, and bath tub didn't haveva working stopper. It looked like some people were living there and there were trash can full of trash on the sidewalks and the dumpster looked like it hadn't been dumped in a month. The pool area had been filled in, and the fence was in disarray. You could lose a small car in the pothole coming onto the property.
- Mary (6/5): Pleasant - Someone tried to open my room door at night the second night there. I was alone, 60,and had to carry all my stuff upstairs.
- Smiley (1/5): We didn’t stay.after we saw the condition of the room we left - Nothing. It was dirty and disgusting The room had a bad smell, the beds were dirty, the curtain rod was broken, the bathroom was dirty
- Agustin (2/5): - Roaches everywhere, room was still dirty, phone had the headset missing and line cut and door locks didn’t work(they were kicked in)
Very sketchy place wouldn’t recommend to anyone
- Abhijit (8/5): - Budget hotel and easy acess to road
- Ashleigh (2/5): - I would give this place zero stars if I could. It was dirty and trash everywhere. We booked 2 nights but ate the cost on it because there was no way I was staying there.
- Lorraine (6/5): ONO - The gentleman was very friendly and and gave us a renovated room which was very clean and the bed comfortable. There was a small Mr. Coffee machine, but no products or cups to make coffee. No microwave, but cold refrigerator.
The back rooms and parking was trashed. Garbage bags, recycle bins and loose trash lined the entire walk ways. Extended stay workers had the company trucks parked along the back and grills, coolers, and chairs were on the walk ways. This was not the look in the front which was clean and lawn manicured. I appreciated the gentleman trying to accommodate us.
- Hunt (1/5): Bad - No cleanup of room after first night. Many light bulbs missing. Sockets not functional. Terrible TV - lots of snow.
- Mardy (8/5): - The fronts staff was nice.
Older hotel but the room was clean and was sufficient for our stay. The lobby/front desk was noticeably cluttered and very dark.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Would not recommend.
- Bob (6/5): - Pro > clean, like-new carpet. Good & popular
Mexican restaurant next door.
Con > no closet or place to hang up clothes on
hangers, poor water drainage of sink,
bottom of some drawers falling apart,
beds too high and (for me) too hard,
shades on desk lamps either missing or
in poor condition. Parking area has many
large holes, some of them are deep.
- Bobbie (2/5): - Bathroom came with a plunger, tub was so slippery, I had to go to the office to get towels and wash clothes, carpet was stained and nasty looking air conditioning could not be adjusted so cold and uncomfortable, carpet was so stained and looked filthy, smell was awful thank GOD I always travel with a bag with Clorox wipes air freshener and more! Furnishings were falling apart! Had to reset a plug after using the hairdryer to get the light to come back on over the sink! This place probably has not seen a Reno in years! Nothing to display the time! Parking lot was not well lit! It was just a poor excuse for a travel accommodation!
- Jacque (8/5): - Very easy check in and parking right in front of the room
- Devan (4/5): - There were dirty clothes in the room from previous stay, bathroom lights didn’t work. White powder substance on floor behind chair, dirt/blood on wall. Gross
- Rickey (7/5): We needed a clean place to spend the night-mission accomplished. - The rooms were bug-free. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well. The bathroom towel rack was half pulled from the wall. There needs to be more towels.
- Darrell (6/5): - Room was clean. Renovation trash on walkway on the back side. Noisy/party in parking lot in back.
- Deaaron (4/5): bad service - i needed tissue and no one was in the office and the phone didn't work
- Alexis (1/5): Just NO. - nothing Everything, It was not cleaned in multiple rooms
Broken windows, dirty
do not stay here
- Cathy (10/5): - We had a fabulous weekend, the room was very clean and spacious, the room we stayed in was very active with spirits. I would love to stay again
- Haynes (8/5): Very good -
- Mel (2/5): Very poor - Toilet didn't flush, tv was old and blurry. The hotel needs updating!
- Donna R (2/5): - Upon arrival on 3/1 we were told our rooms were no longer available! I was still charged for the rooms! Would not recommend!
- Kimberly (2/5): - I was turned away at the door due to over booking. I did not stay here!!!!!
- Tina (9/5): Superb -
- Trisha (6/5): - Nothing looks like the photos, it is dingy, dirty and unkept for the most part. I will not be staying there again.
- Heather (2/5): - I confirmed a room through Expedia a week before coming and he still sold all the rooms before I was able to check in and cancelled my reservation. Second year in a row with a bad experience here, will not try again.
- Boyt (3/5): Short, trashy, regrettable. - Decent parking space Unclean rooms, broken doors, massive piles of trash right outside of rooms, roaches, dirty sheets.
- Lasonya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (2/5): - Never knew there were hotels managed this poorly. We booked a room for our son on New Year’s Eve so that he didn’t have to drive home. We stopped by when we got into town to be sure they didn’t need to see my credit card prior to check-in. It took them 20 minutes to come to the front desk…..once they even came out of the back room, said wait, and then didn’t return for another 10 minutes. They assured us that he would just need his ID and that he could check-in at any hour. Our son arrived around 1:30am, the door was locked, no one answered the bell, and no one answered the phone. He ended up having to call someone to give him a ride home. I complained to Expedia. They tried to call the hotel to confirm, and even they couldn’t get them to answer the phone. They opened an investigation and, after one week, I received an email that said they were never able to contact the hotel and there is nothing else they can do for me. This is literally unacceptable. No only is the hotel compete crap, Expedia chooses to continue booking rooms through them and refuse to accept any responsibility. Expedia should choose to take the hotel off their search results to protect their clients from being scammed in this way. I went to the hotel to complain and the owner called two guys down from upstairs in an attempt to intimidate me. Very poor experience and very unprofessional. On top of that, the lobby was dirty and in disrepair, old water heaters by the front doors, and pool is full of dirt.
- Colter (2/5): Terrible - This hotel is trash. We checked into two rooms just to find small roaches r bedbugs everywhere. Talked with the manger and he refused to give us our money back. Absolutely terrible experience.
- Kadijah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kadijah (10/5): 10 out of 10 definitely recommend - Everything I liked everything
- Verified traveler (4/5): Friendly staff, terrible rooms - Check in was easy, staff were friendly. Room was filthy, bathroom was filthy. Holes in walls, door not secure, some kind of feces in the air conditioner. We didnt stay, staff refunded money with no issue.
- PRESTON (6/5): - Not a bad motel for the money.
- Steve (4/5): - Coffee pot dosent work. Furniture is torn and threadbare. Batteries dead in TV remote. Just a little more attention to the condition of the room would make great improvement. I had the room pre booked for two nights but found my self locked out on the second night and had to get my key reset.
- Jeanette (4/5): Disappointing - Location The room had roaches the refrigerator didn't work.
- Clayton (10/5): - Had a wonderful time
- John (6/5): - Good thing was cheap
- James (6/5): - Lady who checked us in acted like we were bothering her.
- Kenneth (1/5): look for something else - price- cheaper than most the room was filthy. Many types of bugs all over, bathroom door was off the hinges, very stained and dirty carpet. toilet seat was the wrong size for the toilet, tank cover was just a piece of plastic. Lady at the desk, very unfriendly, rude.
- Barnett (1/5): Want never stay there again - The room was comfortable Not having the cleaning lady kid running around outside and In the middle of the road and the room didn't have a smoke detector
- Tammy (8/5): Very good - people were friendly room was nice had a great stay in the pictures I thought I saw breakfast but there wasn't any
- Gavyn (2/5): Terrible - Cheap Didn’t clean room. Had to get towels. Wouldn’t extended my room.
- Charlotte (6/5): Disappointed - It was alright. No bugs, always a plus. We reserved a king smoking room 2 months ahead. When we got there, there wasn’t any available, this is twice now. Friendly
- Patrick (2/5): - There were roaches in the bathroom! We had to go buy spray and hope they didn’t get in our luggage! Our room was not cleaned or given fresh towels. We went across the street and bought towels and wash clothes. The parking lot is a disaster! Not motorcycle friendly at all! The room and property is NOTHING as described on your website! The carpets are stained and literally sticky! If there had been anywhere else that we could have gone we would NOT have stayed!
- Ricky (6/5): - Nothing unique, needs to be remodeled
- Thomas (8/5): - check-in was fast, could use some repair work
- Sowers (4/5): Room was clean it served our purpose - Location and price Very dirty exterior dated bad parking lot hair dryer and coffee pot did not work
- Steve (1/5): Bad -
- Monika (2/5): Terrible - Nothing Cockroaches everywhere
- Angela (4/5): Disappointing - Location to my family The non-smoking room still smelled like smoke and no smoke detector on the ceiling, just the spot where it should have been.
- Tabitha (2/5): - Rude employee, nasty rooms and lots of roaches in the drawers
- LaShondra (2/5): - The first room i checked into the beds had no covers, the air wasn't on. Went back to the front desk to get another key to a different room, when i asked for smoking, nothing was available... Went into the non smoking room, TRASH!!!
The air took a while before it kicked in. I tried to watch the television, it started playing, then went to a black screen (sound but no picture). THEN there were the roaches!!!! The first one crawled on the coffee table towards my purse. At first i thought i was losing it, until another one crawled on the table with the lights on. I drifted and when i woke up, there was a roach on the pillow i was sleeping on. Then i looked at the headboard and they were crawling out of the headboard.
I checked out and the "manager" said he would assess the situation and give me a call about a refund.
- Kadijah (10/5): Will be coming back soon. - I loved everything. Love that it has a coffee pot. And a chair and lamp . Makes it feel like home. Nothing I didn’t like
- neal (4/5): - Na
- Mark (4/5): - I’m not looking for 5-star accommodations at the motel price; however, there were a number of things that should’ve been fixed before signing that room: 1) no coffee pot in room (coffee was there; just no pot. I got one from the front desk.) 2) bath light did not work—kind of important when using the toilet or taking a shower. 3) Bed lamp did not work (knob missing), making one have to get out of bed to fit of last light.
- Jim (3/5): We stayed one night. Never again. - The beds were clean. The shower had good water pressure. Holes in the walls patched with tape, the grounds were filthy, deep pot holes damaged our motor cycle. Garbage was visable everywhere. Piles of bed linens on the ground out side of rooms. The air conditioning units woked fine but were deplorable condition. The TV was unusable. The name of the hotel was different to the advertisement. It clearly was NOT a 3 star hotel. The pictures did NOT represent the hotel.
- Kadijah (10/5): Love the place. 10 out of 10 will recommend - Very peaceful Nothing I didn’t like
- Rusty (1/5): Bad - Nothing at all worst hotel experience of our lives Pictures on booking.com are complete hoax . Place doesn't even have right sign out front. Water stains smoke smell and stains in non smoking room bathroom not clean and toilet leaks.beds and pillows are so hard better off sleeping outside on ground. Literally spent over 50 dollars on cleaning supplies to clean ourselves before we even touched anything.run down place no care for customers . Even put out signs saying not responsible for ur vehicle or property during stay. PLEASE DO URSELF A FAVOR AND DONT STAY HERE WE BOOKED ONLINE ACCORDING TO PICTURES IF SEEN FIRSTHAND WOULDNT HAVE EVEN STAYED AFTER SEEING SHAPE OF LOBBY. I HOPE BOOKING COM UPDATES PICTURES FOR THIS PLACE SO NOBODY ELSE GETS ROBBED OR THERE VACTION RUINED BECAUSE OF FALSE ADVERTISING ON HOTEL SHAPE. HALF THE LIGHTS DIDNT EVEN WORK wish I could post more pics for everyone. This was also all the toilet paper in room . We bought our own toilet paper because we didn't trust anything they would give us.
- Christa (4/5): - I am not sure what property is shown in Expedia, because when we got there the pool was filled in, there was no breakfast, we had to ask for towels—3 people, 2 towels in the room. We had to go get toilet paper from the front desk because no one fille it and the roll in the room was less than half when we arrived. The toilet leaked, too. On the plus side, most of the people we dealt with were nice and the hot water worked. We just felt it was not what was advertised.
- Robert (10/5): Okay for an Oyo - I have stayed at a couple of other Oyo hotels; both left a lot to be desired. This one was actually very nice. Cleaned, shower worked, tv had a remote and both worked, mattress was acceptable.
- Elaine (8/5): - Like: loveseat and table, channel selection
- Nicole (3/5): Very creepy and make sure to get receipts for payment - The convenience of the location The creeper son or whoever the younger gentleman was. Just staring at you when you check in. Made me and my granddaughter feel very uncomfortable. then when I went to the office he was swinging on a swing over the front desk and once I walked in, he got off the swing and was staring. Then I gave them my payment Nd signed my credit card receipt for them to come knock at 8am saying I didn’t pay. I went to office and the lady couldn’t find my receipt. I will never stay there again.
- David (6/5): - Definitely need to be removed but I figured by the cost so ….
- Xue (6/5): - The picture of the front desk doesn’t match the picture online. The toilet is shaking and is not stable. But for the price, it’s probably what you get.
- Donna (10/5): - Nice room
- Layla (4/5): - Both bed were dirty! The wash rags were dirty! But it’s a cheap hotel!!
- Mcclure (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was excellent That I couldn't play my phone on the tv
- Ronnie (5/5): Passable - There was no breakfast! There was no breakfast!
- Darlene (8/5): - The beds were clean and comfotable. The room was also clean, just a little shabby, but overall good for the price and convenience.
- Katy (5/5): Very affordable but keep your expectations low. - Affordable! Comfortable bed, short drive from historic downtown. Furnishings comfortable though dated. I liked the pretty shear curtains under effective blackout shades. Owner accommodated our request for a quieter room on the hotel backside. Located on busy road, so fairly noisy. Carpet well vacuumed, but very stained near entry. large discarded plastic bin outside room was filled with rainwater and debris: looked like a mosquito breeding area. Door to bathroom needed cleaning and paint.
- Sharon (10/5): Beautiful - Breakfast in the morning Everything was great 👍
- Joseph (6/5): - The coffee maker in the room would not turn on. Hot water in the shower was slow to arrive at 5am. Otherwise, no complaints.
- DeLena (2/5): - The room had a bug in the tub and the carpet was dirty. Also room smells like smoke.
- Sakeitha (2/5): - The wiring was terrible and the lights went off on me and the owners were rude as hell. Just nasty and beg bugs
- Trenton (1/5): Bad -
- Christopher (2/5): - No hot water. Broken shower curtain. No upkeep. If i could give less stars i would and fyi management and expedia dont care about your reviews.
- Toreta (2/5): - I cannot recommend this location due to the dirty and unsafe conditions.
- Teresa (2/5): - Nothing was unique. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down. The bathtub was unsafe. The toilet was terribly nasty and stained. Turns out it was on a highway next to a railroad track. They locked the office at 6 o’clock in the evening. I killed a water bug and a roach. The microwave was greasy. The beds were, one hard one lumpy. The bedsheet was stained. The air conditioner heater did not work. The front office smelled of curry and garlic. You lied to me. This was not a three star hotel. I will not use Expedia again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This property needs renovation. Dirty bathroom door, chipped paint on walls, etc. Linnens were fine.
- patrick (10/5): - Nearby to everything we needed. Clean place.
- Rodney (6/5): - This was a nonsmoking room yet there were cigarette burns on the sheets and bedspread.
Front desk staff was unfriendly.
Electrical plugs were in bad shape.
Grates on air units were broken and unsightly on many rooms noted from the outside.
Not very inviting.
