Really close to the centre of St Ives and the train station. TV in the room has got to be at least 15 years old with no SMART features, disappointing but not a deal breaker

Didn't like the fact owners allowed their animals up on the furniture and unfortunately the Staff didn't rectify this. On the last night of our stay the people staying in the room above us were inconsiderate from 6am in the morning.

We booked the standard double so weren’t expecting much but our windows from the bedroom and bathroom were right on the rocks to the sea. One of the nice hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The included breakfast was delicious and with the most incredible view to the sea. Could have sat there forever.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend, man hat eine Wahl aus verschiedenen warmen Speisen, Müsli und Obst. Abends kann man noch schön an der Bar einen Absacker trinken. Im Zimmer hatten wir alles was wir brauchten, Teestation, Kaffeemaschine und eine angenehme Dusche mit heißem Wasser. Parkplätze findet man eine Treppe hoch am Bahnhof in Laufnähe. Strandhafen Restaurants und Shops auch alle in unmittelbarer Laufnähe Wenn ich überhaupt irgendetwas bemängeln müsste, dann die Größe des Zimmers, das ist dann doch mit zwei Personen sehr eng aber aufgrund des positiven Restes, kaum erwähnenswert. Man schläft ja sowieso nur dort

- Sheenagh (7/5): Beautiful place but disappointed with room! - Can’t beat the location and fabulous views. Complete renovation, lovely and clean. Very disappointed with the room, small, dark, very little storage. Also due to design fault, the placement of a shelf placed over a tiny sink made the sink unusable. We have stayed here numerous times before and been more than happy with our room, I would advise to only book a room on the ground and upper floor. For the price you pay , it really isn’t worth it otherwise.

The bathroom was very small, the sink was tiny with a shelf covering half of it, so my husband couldn't use it to shave, we just about cleaned our teeth without toothpaste going on the floor.The pillows were no very supportive for sleeping on.

The location was perfect, and our room offered a beautiful view overlooking the sea and harbour. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and everything was very reasonably priced. - Autumn (9/5): Perfectly located with amazing views. - A beautiful property in a perfect location. Our room was clean and well furnished with lots of added treats. The view from our room was the best we have experienced at St Ives- literally on the sea. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a squeeze, we managed just fine but anyone larger or with limited mobility would struggle to get around the far side of the bed.

- Joana (8/5): Great way to experience St Ives. - The location. The cosiness. Strangely, I was obsessed with the fine details and fixtures, all seemed quite new and well out together. The art work was exceptional and well thought off. Checking in and getting a permit to park was straight forward. The staff were all friendly and greeted you each time we passed. There wasn't consistency with the food. The scones were that nice I ordered it twice, the following day but it didn't live up to the previous day. The salad was also better the second time round.

- Phil (4/5): Excellent location, great views but the standard room was only suitable for a one night stay. - The location and the views over the bay. The standard room we were in was poor. Although modern, (the hotel has had major refurbishment recently), the room was very small and the shower room really small. You have to squeeze past one end of the bed with a gap of 20 cm. In the shower room, the wash base and the so small that it was hard to use. It used to be a great place, but since the refurbishment they have squeezed every little bit to create space for more rooms and more profit. Shame.

The price of the room was still a bit steep in my opinion. I know you are paying for the location and view, however I do feel the price of the room for a night was a little excessive !!
