• Maite (8/5): Bien - La entrada al edificio asusta un poco (la zoma de la maquina del auto-checkin daba sensación de suciedad). Y la gente fumado justo en la puerta no ayuda a mejorar esa sensación. No hay ascensor. Una vez en la habitacion, mejor. Nos dieron una litera y una cama de matrimonio, por lo que estuvimos cómodos. Personal amable. Nos dejaron desayunar en las mesas comunes cosas que no habíamos adquirido alli. Nos alojamos alli por la cercania al Caen Memorial

J'ai demandé à une femme de chambre et on a du attendre à la réception... Moyen... Pas d'ascenseur ni sèche cheveux... Fait le job pour une nuit mais pas plus...

• FRANCIS (6/5): - Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur même s'il n'y a que 2 étages ce n'est pas pratique avec les bagages. Le parking n'est pas fermé. L'accès à l'hôtel a été compliqué. La procédure habituelle n'a pas fonctionné. J'ai réglé 2 fois. Le service à distance n'est pas efficace. La personne m'a dit d'attendre 17h00 que la personne responsable de l'accueil arrive. Heureusement que nous sommes arrivés à 16h30. La télécommande de la télévision est très sale. Ce n'est pas parce qu'on ne parle plus du COVID qu'il n'est plus là et d'autres virus s'attrappent facilement au contact. La personne de l'accueil est très agréable et a réussi à régler les problèmes.

Pas un n'a eu bien entendu l'idée "d"accompagner" le mouvement de cette double porte pour la refermer ! Un hôtel, me semble t-il est une structure COLLECTIVE où les clients viennent pour dormir, être au calme ...

• Krisela (8/5): Klein aber fein - Das Hotel ist in sehr gute Lager, hat Parkplätze für die Gäste Kostenlos,Restaurant gegenüber,Tankestelle und noch paar Sachen die nötig sind. Man kann selbst check in machen benötigt dafür Kreditkarte.Alles funktionieren über dein check in Code finde ich cool. Frühstück war lecker ,hatte aber leider nicht große Auswahl.Das Essbereich finde ich sehr klein für ein Hotel.Die mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.An der Empfang hat ein Snack Automat finde ich gut.Das Zimmer war sehr Sauber und das Bett groß genug, man könnte schlafen sehr gut die Matratzen waren in sehr gute Zustand. Gegenseitig das Zimmer war extrem klein für 2 Personen. Kein Platz unsere Koffer zu stellen.Es war ziemlich laut weil alle Türen knarten, es hatte kein Zimmerisolierung.Finde ich auch komisch ,dass die Reception nur bestimmten Zeit offen ist.Aber alles in allem waren wir Zufrieden.

Pas de sèche cheveux dans la salle de bains Même si à l’accueil, ils sont disponibles, c’est peu pratique car il faut anticiper 🙃 Pas d’espace dédié comme un petit salon indépendant. Seule la salle du petit déjeuner au niveau de l’entrée peut faire office de pièce pour jouer au cartes ou lire ….. En revanche, tout le reste était parfait. L’accueil est très professionnelle et tout le personnel très agréable et souriants ( ce qui se fait rare) Le petit déjeuner délicieux avec des produits frais et toujours réapprovisionné. Le ménage est très bien fait et le personnel de ménage étaient très agréables. Merci à Cécilia qui a été souriante, à l’écoute , attentive et toujours très agréable. Il était important de le souligner.

• Barbie (2/5): - Had to leave this hotel and lost our money. We checked in a machine outside the hotel. Area at night not safe for solo female travelers. Assigned a room on first floor. No air conditioning and the only source of ventilation was a window to open which was large enough for someone to come in the room without a problem. This obviously wasn’t an option because of safety. Packed up my things and headed to hotel across the street which was excellent, with friendly staff and great rooms. Terrible experience and money loss.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Globalement positif - Bon séjour dans l'ensemble. Nous avons pu travailler sans problème grâce au wifi de qualité. Quelques petites saletés dans la chambre et sur les murs, mais globalement, ça allait. La chambre était agréable. En revanche, il faisait assez chaud. Nous avons eu un petit désagrément à l'arrivée (tardive). Le code fourni lors de la réservation était trop long pour être valide dans l'appareil permettant de confirmer la réservation sur place. Nous avons du contacter l'assistance qui nous a fourni un autre numéro. L'équipe de l'hôtel, très sympathique, a été à notre écoute et serviable. Note globalement positive donc. Le principal défaut vient plutôt de la plateforme de réservation semble-t-il.

• Nadine (6/5): So lala - Räumlichkeiten waren so lala.... angefangen beim Bett das ziemlich klein für 2 Personen ist, über die Dusche die lediglich mit einem Vorhang bestückt ist, dieser aber leider nichts bringt und somit das komplette Bad unter Wasser stand, welches dann aus dem Bad in den Wohnraum gelaufen ist. Das Frühstück war eher enttäuschend.... Bacon aus der Mikrowelle, Pulverei aber das Brot war gut, das war aber dann das einzige... Wurst hab es überhaupt nicht, Marmelade war dafür ausreichend vorhanden und mehrere Sorten. Ich würde vielleicht nochmal buchen, aber wenn dann als Einzelperson und nicht als paar und die 7€ Frühstück würde ich mir dann auch ersparen. Die Lage allerdings ist sehr ruhig und zentral an Autobahn (Verkehr bekommt man garnicht mit)

• Kerry (10/5): Great hotel - Hotel has 24/7 check in, staff are very friendly and breakfast was a great buffet (very similar food to other b&b hotels). Its also a few minutes away from the memorial museum and a short drive to the beaches. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Caen!
• Johanne (8/5): - The B&B Hotels are not like a full service hotel. However they are less expensive and do the trick. We arrived late, so the hotel was locked. Had to call their call centre to give us a code to get in. Just know ahead of time that if you arrive after they close, this is what you need to do. The gate to the parking lot is locked as well. So just park your car and go to the front door, buzz their call centre and they will help you. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected in Europe. There is no air conditioning or hair dryers in the rooms, so if this is important to you, plan accordingly. They offer a continental breakfast for 6 euros. It isn't overly impressive, but will do if needed. Overall we were satisfied with the room, we weren't there very long anyway as we were out touring. It was easy to get in and out from the highway as it is on the outskirts of Caen, we never had to go through town. I would stay here again, just bring a hairdryer. It is a cheaper alternative.

• Jukka (8/5): B&B Hotel Caen WWII Memorial - B&B Hotel by the Caen WWII memorial provided us a good one night stay. Hotel is no frills, small rooms, excellent value and had everything we needed to enjoy Normandy. The staff recommended a restaurant (Le Tablier) close to the hotel that was excellent. As a hint, one needs to check in before 8:30pm if one want to talk to any staff members.
