Guest Reviews
- Elspeth (10/5): - Secure parking at night for motorbikes.
- Lynette (8/5): - Very easy to get to from the motorway. Very easy checkin. Toilet not very clean.
- Aidan (10/5): Would recommend - Excellent for our overnight stop on way to ferry
- David (6/5): - The room is very very small. And we had a doublenor queen? No place for the suitcase. On the floor it went. But, if you just want a clean place to sleep, it was just fine.
- Philip (10/5): A Quaint Hotel. - When advertised the description of the hotel stated it had a lift. Being partially disabled this was an important reason for my choice. However when we arrived we found that our room was in the part of the hotel that the lift only serviced to the second floor. Otherwise the room provided everything we needed.
- Tracy (10/5): - It was okay as an overnight stay and the price paid
- Gillian (10/5): Handy pit stop. - Good location not far off motorway. A little tricky to navigate entry to car park but once you’re checked in you get a code. Good bakery opposite for morning pastries.
- Andrew (10/5): - The room was a double room which was quite small but ideal for a one or two night stop over the bathroom was again small but well laid out had plenty of room for a shower and basin and toilet although a large larger person might struggle with the toilet all in all really nice day Very clean with a good breakfast
- Moyra (10/5): - Great value for money for a one night stay.
- Vitali (6/5): - Check in wasn't easy as no-one was at desc and check-in machine was frozen. Toilet in the room is not flushing properly, facilities are very basic and minimal.
- Jayne (10/5): - Great
- Christopher (10/5): - Did the basics well. Clean and tidy.
- Simon (8/5): - A clean, quietish, comfortable, no frills hotel. Room was small you would struggle to open and layout a large suitcase.
- CARRIE (6/5): - At check in the instructions weren't clear that because there was no attendant there at that time, you needed to use the computer to check in. It wouldn't recognize my last name under "Surname" and I had to put my first name in to find the reservation after pressing the call button and taking to someone at the call centre.
Only 3 thin towels left for us with a four person check in so we had to ask for more when the attendant got there.
Bathrooms super small and cramped.
The day we were leaving, the elevator broke down and we were in the third floor with a lot of luggage and my son is a white cane user. The attendant apologized and helped us down with one suitcase at least.
- Pam (10/5): - It’s a fairly small room which is ok for a 1 night stopover or for 1 person I Would want bigger is stopping longer. Location good for restaurants (Léon Fish restaurant next door, excellent)
and retail park
- Richard (8/5): - It was only a short stop overnight stay as we were going a long way on our motorcycle we have stayed there before. So we knew what was there. Breakfast was good all the food you need.
- Pam (10/5): - Comfortable, clean, great breakfast. Fast efficient check in
- John (8/5): - One young man was extremely helpful while getting my breakfast,
- Herman (8/5): - Cool
- ann (2/5): - Bed was a hard mattress on board . I could not sleep it was like sleeping on concrete.
- Samantha (10/5): Lovely clean stay - Room was clean, staff were helpful, room
Was spacious for 2 adults and 2 children
- gareth (10/5): Hols - Stayed here 1 night travelling from provence to euro tunnel. Great place with liads of ameneties nearbye
- George (6/5): ok for an overnight - Convenient but rooms very small
- Kathy (10/5): - Was very convenient for our needs parking was good, we had breakfast there a couple of morning and it was
- Andrew (8/5): a good stop over hotel. - overnight hotel on the way to Disneyland. 24x7 checkin and onsite parking.
- Jim (10/5): - No frills, clean, perfect accommodation for one night stay while travelling. Decent breakfast too.
- Alexander (8/5): - The room is small but very good value for money. Breakfast was also excellent for the amount paid.
- Sarah (6/5): - The staff were great and it’s a convenient hotel. The floor in the room hadn’t been cleaned at all though.
- Andrew (10/5): - Good
- Graham (10/5): - Good sized family room to break a long journey up.
- David (8/5): Convenient stop over - Convenient hotel. Really modern with a lift which was working.
Air conditioning worked well and the shower was efficient.
- Shaun (10/5): - Very good experience of the hotel. The staff were very helpful. There's plenty of dining options nearby and there's a supermarket/shopping center across the road which can accommodate a number of differing needs.
- stephen (8/5): Arras - Room warm otherwise very good. Breakfast the bread was not fresh, stale rubbery, let the French bread down. Limited choice compared to other hotels we stayed in
- Kevin (6/5): - Man hätte in den zimmern mal saugen können. Frühstück hat geringe Auswahl und ist etwas pappig
- David (8/5): - Very modern.
- Kevin (8/5): - Great European hotel “small room” but very quiet and easy to access the city and countryside at a great price.
- D (10/5): - Perfect location for our needs
- Cameron (8/5): - You get what you pay for with this room. Having said that we selected this room because of the price so shouldn’t complain. Check in was fully automated (keypad inside left of door) and was not to difficult. The room was very small but was able to fit our family. The room was fairly clean but there are no amenities (kettle, tea, microwave). Bathroom was fine and there were lots of towels. There is a lovely bakery and grocery store nearby and parking was easy.
- Ann-Marie (10/5): - Fantastic price, easy to access and plenty of restaurants supermarkets etc for a quick stop en route
- Lorraine (10/5): - Stayed at this hotel for one night. Room was small for four people but so efficiently organized, we managed well. Beds were very comfortable. Room and hotel are very clean. I would go back if I was in Arras again.
- Heather (8/5): - The entry was poorly signed and therefore went around the traffic circle 3 times and down street looking for an alternate entrance.
- Claire (4/5): Extra toll charge, freezing room, miles away - We were arriving late and i was sent the codes for our room. That was fine but on arrival i couldn’t get in through the gate with my vehicle. So i went to look for help and the security guard was a very grumpy and reluctant to help me.
He finally agreed to open the carpark gate for me and he walked the speed of a snail.
Once in, i typed the codes in and paid the remaining balance and off to the room!
The rooms where clean but absolutely freezing, i put the heating onto maximum and it run for about 3 minutes, no heat tho! It was so freezing in the room even the toilet seat was like sitting on a block of ice or one a public one thats in an out door block. After the first use i was desperately trying not to use it again because it was so cold.
Even my daughter was cold and she is always boiling, she even asked for a cuddle to warm up! Its was freezing in there!
The bed made a banging noise when we moved as if the legs were uneven and i tried to put things under the legs to help stop it and it was so annoying and i bet downstairs was annoyed too.
I think if i wasn’t so exhausted after a day in Disneyland and then the 2 hour drive to here, i would have jumped i back in my van and found somewhere else!
Sat nav took us to the hotel via an extra toll booth, so again an extra payment, magical mystery tour around what seemed like an industrial estate! Roundabout after roundabout, I thought it was going to be just off the motorway but it wasn’t.
- marilyn (6/5): - There is no on site staff for much of the day. Any problems you are on your own. The breakfast was very average. This is more of s business person's quick overnight stay. There are resaurants within walking distance but nothing very special. It suited us okay and it is readonably priced.
- Beck (10/5): - Secure overnight parking and excellent value for a stop to break the journey
- Mark (10/5): Arras - Very clean convenient for the motorway
- Rachel (10/5): Great en route stop over! - Great en route stay thru France from UK. Good family room, clean, easy to find & park with boulangerie, supermarket & brasserie in waking distance.
- stephen (6/5): Clean but not again - No bar , no restaurant.
Not central .
- David (10/5): - Easy to find
- Mairi (10/5): - Hotel was very basic but absolutely spotless.
Only downside was the availability of reception staff as they were on short hours & it was a bit of a struggle to check in
- Burton (10/5): - Very happy with this property, staff very friendly and helpful!
- Andrew (8/5): 2 night stay in Arras - Good location on outskirts of city. Simple to find and great secure car parking
Simple check in - not having a key ( use individual 6 digit code for all doors internal/ external
Nice breakfast
Rooms basic but beds comfortable
Good value for money
- Ian William (10/5): Recent stay - Slight hitch with bedding when we booked in, however the staff got straight onto it and sorted it out.
- Barry (10/5): - Quick and easy check-in, restaurant nearby.
- Joshua (8/5): Convenient and comfortable - Very nice, helpful man on front desk. Easy access to arras
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We arrived at this hotel when no one was at the desk. We tried several times to use the touch screen even when being helped by a person on the intercom
- Giovanni (8/5): Comfortable - Motorcycle ride to Normandy stop over on way to eurotunnel
- Wai Ling Jackie (10/5): Smooth check-in - I had a smooth check-in as the reception young guy was so nice and helpful.
- Robert (8/5): Fine for room only - nothing special - Basic but OK, beds not the most comfortable. Checkin was not manned so had to use the code we were sent to check in. Breakfast not included and was a rip off price.
- Gillian (10/5): Great stop over spot - Great stop over spot. Clean beds, with full size beds in a family room for the children. Fab shower and access to the room late which was great as the euro tunnel was delayed.
The breakfasts have to be preordered and are takeaway due to covid but include good pastries, great bread and a good selection of cheese etc.
There is a shopping centre and supermarket near by to grab picnic supplies for a longer journey south.
Fab.
- Jody (10/5): - Convenient lovely clean hotel. We use regularly.
- Ben (8/5): Good stay. - Young family of 4 staying on a stop over as we travelled further south. Very clean and comfortable. For the price you cannot complain at all. Some restaurants/shopping facilities within a short walking distance. Centre of Arras is well worth the short drive away. Stunning
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ok as a stop off - Served it’s purpose as a stop off. Rooms were basic but clean. Self check-in works ok, but make sure you check your Hotels.com in-box for checking in details if arriving late.
Otherwise, not bad overall.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A really good place for a stopover on the way from Switzerland to the UK. Clean, safe, quiet and dog friendly.
- Seval (10/5): - Superb
- Didier (6/5): Nice - Good overall prestations. However, for the same price in another hotel close to Paris, and booking by groupon, size of the room was bigger.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Straightforward good value budget hotel. Tiny bedrooms but did the job. Staff helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A great no frills, clean hotel for staying a night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - One of the rooms was unprepared on arrival. When staff came on duty about 10 min after our arrival we were quickly allocated a replacement room.
- Stuart (2/5): Small bedroom - On our arrival there was nobody on reception and effectively we were locked out of the hotel. Another guest saw our plight and we managed to get into the hotel. We then rang B&B and given a code for the room. The room was extremely small and the bed made up 95% of the room so cramped comes to mind. It is my opinion that at over 70 euro this hotel was grossly overpriced. I am not a serial moaner and i wont make the mistake of booking at B&B anytime soon.
- Fame (8/5): - Self check in was a bit trying but ok.
Breakfast good with friendly staff.
No amenities in our room, no coffee or tea.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was very basic, the room was clean, comfortable bed. The breakfast was satisfactory. The gentmen at the reception area gave a good suggestion for pizza within walking distance and it was very good. All in all for one night it was good.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No staff on dront desk untill after 5 pm. Problems with WiFi
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Adequate and comfortable. Room a bit small but very clean. Staff vey accommodating
- Peter (8/5): - 1 night stop over was what we expected, clean and basic
- Charlotte (10/5): - Good hotel in walking distance of restaurants and shopping centre over the road, excellent breakfast. Would stay again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very easy to get access to the room, through the key code provided! Different in a good way
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean, functional and good for the price. Everything you want from a budget hotel for families.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Pro: secure parking, clean rooms, several restaurants in walking distance, entrance and exit by code, free WiFi.
Con: small rooms.
Overall: great for an overnight stay, the rooms have one USB point (handy!), the breakfast is simple but OK, check-in and access into/out of the car park are done by code so you can arrive and leave whenever is convenient for you.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Thank you was I nice stay.... Shame there was no tea and coffee in the rooms
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very basic room not sure why we were in a disabled persons room. No extras offered
- Patrick (10/5): - As described. Very clean.
- Geoffrey (10/5): Perfect overnight spot - All that was needed, pretty minimal but comfortable and given the temperature outside, lovely and cool. Nice breakfast as well
- Mark (8/5): Thanks for the room - There were 5 of us staying over night. We all found the beds very hard. Rooms are very clean an entity.
- Malis (10/5): - Every thing was good and good for value
Clean and tidy
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Was a good place to stay and good value. Nice location and very clean. The breakfast was a great value and offered a nice amount of choice.
- Roger (8/5): Was as expected for the price - Was as expected for the price but have stayed in better in Arras
- Frances (10/5): First visit to the Arras area and B&b Hotels. - We arrived just before the reception desk opened but used the machine in the foyer, very easy to use, our room was super clean, very comfy beds and although it had a busy road outside it was really quiet at night. The hotel is very well placed with plenty of places to eat in the area without having to go far, all were within walking distance, It was a safe place to stay ,even if you were using the hotel on your own, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful with information of the local area as well as supplying maps, all in all we couldn't have had a better experience at this chain of hotels, thank you so much.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Poor heat control in room, otherwise very clean.
Breakfast was great.
- Keiron (8/5): Weekend motorcycle battlefield visits - Stayed with friends to motorcycle the local battle fields. Good geographically for the Somme sites but limited with local facilities in the evening to have a meal and drink. The local taxi service was poor, three trips for all of us took my an hour and a half before we were all able to eat in central Arras so be warned
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent for a traveller with a car. Lots of restaurants near by.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Simple automated room checkin and key code messages made very simple and easy to get into room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a good location. The staff were very helpful and it was reasonably priced.
- Susan (10/5): Budget hotel but just right - Stayed for 1 night with my 2 daughters (9&7) Cannot fault the hotel. Felt secure, room had plenty of space. The bathroom was compact but was sufficient for our needs. Breakfast was well worth the additional charge, the croissants were delicious. Would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Simple check in even though it was very late. Room was clean and relatively spacious.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic find for s short stay. No complaints great value
- jon (10/5): Very nice budget hotel - All surprisingly good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quick check out. Generally easy. Room had some character for a modern low budget hotel (nice mural on the wall)
- M (8/5): - Hotel was fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast was only ok and in the room we could have done with more and better pillows. No instructions on how to operate the air con.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beds we’re very comfy, shower is a bit small, hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, english was very good!
