- fiona (10/5): Brilliant historical location close to airport and sites - Brilliant location-close to airport (15 SD), great relaxed residential area called Katong - mix of historic Peranakan and nice modern buildings, loads of cafes/restaurants. Metro close with easy trip to Bay of Gardens and Raffles etc. Safe to wander around the area. Excellent restaurant at bottom of hotel or cheaper street food close by. Friendly English pub The Little Pig nearby Stayed in King corner room which was a good size and had two windows, nice bathroom. King deluxe second visit had windows and shutters (cheaper rate as booked directly with reception). Lovely staff. Lovely reception area with Peranakan tiles. Pool nice but not much shade. Nothing

- Nguyen (9/5): Great after all, thank you. - Location is the best Cleanliness is great but facilities are second, just my room has some water leaking issues with the bidet that made the bathroom floor half wet all the time and slippery, anyway, bathtub was a plus point. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi at the rooftop was a charm. Staffs are friendly and welcoming during my stay, they’re always glad to assist. Thank you.

- Wijbrand (9/5): Een heerlijk verblijf met alles bij de hand - Het hotel staat in een gezellige volksbuurt, niet geteisterd door hoge gebouwen en de heerlijke restaurants in de ommiddelijke nabijheid. Goede bus/metroverbindingen met de stad en vliegveld niets
- cleanandcomfortable (10/5): - A short walk from bus 36 stop at Marine Parade. Bus 36 connects directly to the airport making this a great stop over location. The hotel is older but well renovated. The staff are helpful and luggage is no problem. I enjoyed using the pool to refresh after a long flight.
- J (9/5): Very Central location in busy Katong, nice value! - Location is great in Katong! Room was a bit tight but the bathroom was really nice. It's a great layover stop... the imall is just down the block. There is a rooftop pool but did not get to try it. Were I to stay longer, I might opt for a bigger room but the one we had was more than adequate. The staff are nice and they kept our extra piece of luggage for us over our week away. Bed was very comfy, and there is a nice coffee machine in the lobby. There is a kettle in the room but the cups were quite tiny! Not exactly angmo sized:) but the lobby machine is very good. 7-11 is right around the corner, as were so many places to eat, and socialize, and mrt is so convenient as well as East Coast Park! Fairly busy street but no remarkable noise disturbance. Price is pretty fair. Historic building is well repurposed! Not much to dislike besides tiny coffee cups, but that is an easy fix!! I hate to even mention it! Happy to stay again!

- Catrina (8/5): Convenient hotel very nicely situated in the hip Katong area, not far from the airport with a nice p - The hotel is right next to a Merci Marcel French restaurant. The food there for dinner and breakfast was excellent. In fact there are many restaurants and cafes in the Katong area, a very lively area and closer to the airport than other places I've stayed at. The pool was excellent ! Quite a big pool with room for quite a few people. Water was just the right temperature. The foyer/reception area is beautifully decorated showcasing Peranakan tiles on the walls. Photo coming of this. Reception staff helped call for a taxi 😃 Can't think of anything.

- linda (10/5): Comfortable Room in a Great Neighborhood - Our budget (and last minute booking) didn’t permit us to stay downtown, but I am so glad that we didn’t. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The East Beach area is more like staying in a neighborhood. There are lots of small shops, restaurants and bars nearby. (Two Men bagels and Tap Out were our favorites). There is also a great waterfront park nearby - walk,run, ride a bike. Also public transportation is nearby - both buses and the metro - you can take it anywhere - 30 minutes or so to Gardens by the Bay, 45 minutes to the Botanical Gardens (a must do in my opinion). The zoo is a bit farther at 75 to 90 minutes. The airport however is only 10 minutes away by Grab. The pool area was a bit shabby.

Walking distance to several great restaurants, boutiques, and sightseeing. Also very close to the airport for convenient early morning departures. - Marie (7/5): Great location, good for the value - The King corner Room was spacious, everything was clean & the staff was super nice The room had a balcony and a large window but the balcony had a tall wall and the window was covered with planks, so one didn’t have the possibility to look outside.

Great cafe at the ground floor ( Merci Marcel). Close to lots of restaurants, foot massages and shopping mall. Shower gel had a great smell. The carpet in the corridors need shampooing and cleaning. The rooftop pool is small, not a place you will hang around. No breakfast facilities. Laundry facilities were not functional. Rooms giving on the street are noisy due to the traffic. Bring earplugs and eyemask.

- Sannah (7/5): Ok - Super Lage Die Klimaanlage hat extrem laut gegluckert dass wir sie ausschalten mussten zum schlafen. laut Anzeige musste ausserdem der Filter gewechselt werden, das hat man leider auch gerochen. Teppichboden ist auch nicht so schön.

- Akiko (10/5): 立地最高、可愛い素敵なホテル - 立地もとてもよくバス停も目の前MRTまでも徒歩5分だった。 近くにたくさん食べ物屋さんがあり、駅の近くにはホーカーもあったので、食事に困らなかった。朝食無しでも有名なローカルのカヤトーストのお店もあり満足です。スーパーやコンビニも徒歩圏内にあったので便利 でした。 フロントの皆さんもとても親切で、セキュリティーもしっかりしていたので安心でした。 シンガポールなので仕方ないのですが、ツインはスーツケース一つ開けるくらいのスペースしかなかった。

- Claire (8/5): Escale pratique dans un quartier charmant - J’avais une nuit à passer en escale à Singapour, cet hôtel est très pratique, à 15min en voiture de l’aéroport, et dans un quartier charmant à 2 pas des maisons peranakan. Les chambres sont ok, bien qu’un peu basique. Le personnel est très cordial, et j’ai pu profiter de la jolie piscine sur le toit avant de repartir prendre mon vol. Un peu bruyant en étant côté route au 2e étage

- H (8/5): Good value in a great location. Maybe worth going for one of the more expensive rooms. - Great location and good value. The AC in room was vey fierce. Felt like an icebox and I couldn't find a way to turn it down permanently - it seemed to default back to a setting after half an hour.

- Orsolya (5/5): Régi és allergiás szálláshely, de legalább a személyzet kedves - Kedves a személyzet. A szoba abszolút nem úgy néz ki mint a képeken, úgy kell elképzelni hogy a képek mínusz 40 év. Ablak nélküli szobánk volt ahol BRUTÁLIS allergiás rohamaim voltak. 1,5 hónapot utazunk Délkelet-Ázsiában, sem ezelőtt sem ez óta nem produkáltam ilyen tüneteket... És ezért az "élményért" nem kevés pénzt is kell fizetni, dehát azt inkább azért mert ez Szingapúr...

- 晓璐 (9/5): 东海岸相对性价比较好的选择 - 地理位置挺好，酒店交通便利，周围吃的挺多，建筑很有南洋特色。房间内有免费饮料区和小冰箱。 浴室干湿分离的门有点不稳当。其他都挺好。

No hand or face towels provided. Bathroom door was difficult to open and made loud creaking sound due to rubber seal.

- Ferda (8/5): Comfortable stay at a reasonable price in a nice neighborhood - The hotel is located in a culturally rich neighborhood. There are nice restaurants and bars around the hotel. It's also a short walk to the east coast park and beachside. The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful. The beds are comfortable. WiFi works well. Overall, there were no major issues with the facilities or rooms. That said, a few of the provided towels showed signs of wear and could be refreshed to better match the standards of a four-star hotel.

- SHUCHIN (10/5): 給喜歡寧靜又不失機能與交通便利性的住客 - 地理位置優越，36號公車往機場直達很方便，出機場可以在T2搭乘(可以先從T3搭電梯往下到公車搭乘免費接駁公車前往T2)；Marine Parade地鐵站也在附近走路很快就到。地鐵站旁邊的Parkway Parsde裡面有亞坤、飯店斜對面有真美珍，都是好吃早餐。距離海灘也很進，穿越地下道直接就是美景可以看日出和飛機漸漸沿著海岸線降落。附近有冰淇淋店和商店，夜晚有新海山菜館(快炒)，非常多美食，機能便利。 員工非常親切友善，也很幫忙。我看到飯店中的照片，員工告訴我是附近的彩色娘惹屋，還推薦我更私密的位置，真的很開心。房間很乾淨，有提供一次免費的mini bar，每天還提供瓶裝水。大廳的咖啡機可以使用，網路流暢。 夜間後方巷子有出現餐廳清運空玻璃瓶的聲音，只有短短幾秒鐘，還可以接受。
