Sunny balcony. Santa Pola is a very nice area, lovely beaches and marina Deceptively small pool area, was ok for us as hotel wasn’t busy , however can see the ‘few’ sun loungers being an issue generally. The WiFi was non existent at times

• Urs (8/5): Gutes Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafen Alicante - Wir haben als Gruppe dieses Hotel ausgesucht, da wir ein Standort gesucht haben, welches in der Nähe des Flughafen von Alicante ist. Ausserdem, sollte es eine Einstellhalle und genügend Aussenparkplätze verfügen. Dieses Hotel erfüllte alle unsere Wünsche. Da wir in der Zwischensaison hier waren, funktionierte die Küche noch nicht 100 % ig. Das Essen wurde lauwarm serviert und schmeckte nicht besonders gut.

Kettle and safe key were available for free but you have to ask for them at reception. Not a complaint as we knew the location but it’s a good 25 minutes walk across the seafront to town (luckily we had good weather!) Use of kettle but no tea or coffee etc provided.

• Verónica (9/5): Hotel gran playa - Las habitaciones muy amplias y limpias. Tuvieron el detalle de dejar como obsequio dos botellas de agua. El buffet de desayuno muy bueno pero un poco pobre. La duración de la estancia, ya que no dispones de la habitación hasta las 16h pero si que tienes que abandonarla antes de las 12h.

• JOAQUIN (8/5): HOTEL CORRECTO CON HABITACIONES AMPLIAS Y CON BALCÓN PERO QUE SOLO OFRECE DESAYUNO DE BUFÉ. - En general la estancia fue buena y las instalaciones estaban correctas. Sin embargo, tuvimos un inconveniente con el desayuno. Solo ofrecían la opción de bufé por 12 €, y al pedir algo sencillo como unas tostadas y un café con leche, nos dijeron que no era posible hasta que abriera el bar a las 10:30. Además, nos sugirieron que fuéramos a algún bar de la zona si queríamos algo más simple. Finalmente tuvimos que salir a desayunar fuera. Creo que sería positivo para el hotel ofrecer alternativas más básicas y un horario más amplio, ya que de lo contrario pierden clientes y oportunidades de ingreso. Pues eso que no hay mas que una opción de desayuno. No es bueno para el cliente no es bueno para el hotel.

• S Warwick (9/5): Quiet area not far from the beach - Beds and pillows very comfortable. Good to have a couple of English speaking TV channels. Had to ask for a kettle as not standard but free of charge. Fridge and safe F OF C. Everywhere looked clean and tidy. Plenty of toiletries and bottle of water per person on arrival. Balcony overlooking the pool in the sun later in the day. We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night but there are so many places to eat out although not particularly close to the hotel. Room maids did a great job as did Paco the barman, nothing too much trouble, polite and friendly. Having to ask for a kettle and then having to buy your own tea coffee etc. although we brought ours from home thankfully. Some reception staff very nice whenbwe checked in ( Laraina), and some not so good.

Olime jaanuaris, siis on piirkond suhteliselt tühi, Santa Pola on suvitamiseks ideaalne paik. Rand ilus ja meeldivad rannapromenaadid. Olime lihtsalt valel ajal, ilmad ei olnud kõige paremad. Aga meie reisi eesmärk ei olnud ka puhkust veeta, seega ei saa millegi üle nuriseda.

No llegamos a dormir porque nos tuvimos que ir, pero la cama parecia comoda La piscina es un charco para dos hoteles, no está nada cuidada. La ubicación es una zona alejada, pegada a la carretera y un parque de atracciones un poco cutre. No hay nada cerca bonito para ver o pasear. El café dé cápsulas…

• Albert (7/5): 8 day stay. - The swimming pool is what made the difference between Gran Playa and the rest of the Santa Pola hotels. Confusing instructions on breakfast. Most of the staff said you can choose a buffet breakfast at €12 each or a simple coffee and pastry at around €4 which we did untill one of the waiting staff took this as a big no no and I was not very impressed the way he handled it. Also on the website the distances to the beach was a bit inaccurate and there were no other proper facilities unless you took a taxi, which were very scarce, into Santa Pola itself.

Helaas was er in januari weinig horeca open in de omgeving na 22:00 uur. na een late vlucht en aankomst na 22:00 uur was eten alleen mogelijk in een zaken met hamburgers, en shoarma.

Na zdjęciach pokazano pokoje z balkonem, w opisie zamieszczono, że większość pokojów ma balkon, po czym dostałem ciasne pomieszczenie bez balkonu - mimo, że hotel nie wydawał się maksymalnie obłożony. Recepcjonistka niespecjalnie miła, zapracowany barman znikał gdzieś na dłuższy czas. Bardzo mało stolików na zewnątrz, seniorzy z licznej grupy norweskiej nie mieli gdzie usiąść.

• CARLOS (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Parking on site convenient. Quiet area of Santa Pola. Easy walk to town, beaches, shops and restaurants. Large room, large bathroom and large west facing balcony. Very clean.
• David (8/5): - Quiet hotel in mid-September with friendly and helpful staff. It is not far from the beach and next to Pola Park (a small children's theme park). There are a number of restaurants in the area. We stayed half board, unfortunately the food wasn't kept hot enough after cooking (the warmers need to be turned up and the heat lamps in the top weren't giving off much heat) and had little variety, so after a few days it became boring. The breakfast has hot and cold options, but the hot breakfast was only lukewarm and had to be microwaved to be hot enough to eat (not ideal for fried eggs). They also ran out of bread and butter so toast became unavailable on one day. There is plenty of free parking on the street outside or you can park in the hotel car park which incurs a daily charge of 8 Euros at the time of our stay. The swimming pool is of a medium size and clean but there are not many sun beds (around 12), there is also a children's pool that is separated from the main pool. The room was of a nice size with a large bathroom (we were given a family room although there was only two of us). There is a large bar area with a nice veranda. The bar is staffed by the reception/dining room people so we had to wait for someone to come at times, but it wasn't an issue. We would stay there again in the future but would only choose bed and breakfast.

• Rob (10/5): Fijne locatie, vlak aan zee. - De ontvangst, we waren op doorreis richting zuiden en verbleven hier 1 nacht. Kamer zonder balkon geboekt, maar kon omgezet worden naar een kamer met balkon. Niets, erg netjes, schoon en prima geregeld.

Se puede aparcar gratis al lado, sin problema. Barrio tranquilo. Ni un ruido. Que a pesar de que claramente el hotel no estaba lleno, nos ponían pegas y excusas (preguntando a diferentes personas en recepción) para no cambiar de habitación a una con balcón (pagando la diferencia por supuesto). Entiendo que puede ser un engorro, no se si es habitual o no cambiar de habitación.
