• Julian (4/5): There are better places to stay - This is a homestay. The pool is lovely and the owner helpful. The images online are nothing like the reality that you encounter. Our room was small with little meaningful storage for clothes during our 2 night stay. The bed sheet had holes in it; towels were threadbare; bathroom /wet room could use a deep clean at least, if not complete refurbishment. Breakfast was dire. A cold omlette, banana, watermelon, yogurt, chocolate cake and Orios!

• Edri leone (1/5): Booked But Closed - Terrible Experience - Extremely disappointed. We booked via Booking.com only to find out the place was closed when we called to confirm. We had to scramble for another room at the last minute. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
• Deborah (7/5): Pleasant stay, and good value if you want to make use of the pool. - Lovely pool; tea and kettle in the room; quiet and effective aircon. Honesty system for drinks from the fridge and good breakfast. We were grateful for the opportunity to park our self-drive tuktuk on the driveway secured behind their gate. We were allocated the room by the front door, where we were disturbed by comings and goings a couple of times, and, as with many places in Sri Lanka, neighbourhood dogs make their presence known late at night/ early morning!

• Myrthe (6/5): - Het zwembad was heel fijn en de bedden sliepen prima. Gastvrouw heeft de safari voor ons geregeld, dat was top! We hadden een mierenplaag in de badkamer en die verplaatste zich naar 1 van onze tassen. Heel onprettig... gastvrouw heeft wel haar best gedaan om te helpen en de badkamer schoon te maken, maar de volgende dag zaten ze er weer. S ochtends wordt je wakker van honden (van de buren), dus daar kunnen ze zelf wel weinig aan doen. Het ligt ook behoorlijk afgelegen.

La casa si trova in un quartiere molto tranquillo, la stradina davanti non è per niente trafficata e si sentono solo i rumori della natura. Tutto è pulito e ordinato. Lo spazio intorno alla piscina è molto piacevole, un tuffo dopo il giro dei templi è ideale!! La famiglia che ci abita è molto gentile e discreta. Ci hanno preparato una cena deliziosa!

• Syl1602 (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf - Wat een aardige mensen om te verblijven. Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Fijne kamer met goed sanitair. Goed ontbijt. De tweede dag hadden ze zelfs glutenvrije pannenkoekjes geregeld. Zo lief. Het kleine zwembad is heerlijk verkoelend Restaurants liggen op 2 km afstand maar de eigenaresse ook een heerlijke maaltijd voor je bereiden.

• Iris (9/5): - Wij hadden 2 kamers waarvan 1 kamer aan de buitenkant. En de andere in het huis zelf. De kamer buiten is het mooiste. En wat heel fijn is, is het zwembad zodat je even kunt afkoelen!

• John (7/5): Beautiful oasis and pool in peaceful neighborhood. - Nice and quiet neighborhood but only 350 rupees tuk tuk into town. Pool is amazing to have to cool off and the little garden is colourful and smells amazing. Owners have good advice on local trips and can arrange a friendly driver. It is a small homestay so be aware that the family will be around and often in the garden with you especially at the weekend. Wasn't a problem for us but don't expect a hotel style experience.

• Juul (9/5): Heerlijk en comfortabel - Mooie, rustige plek met aardige hosts en een fijne kamer. Lekker gegeten! Het zwembad hadden we voor onszelf. Geen warm water uit de douche. Was niet zo erg, want koud douchen kan hier prima natuurlijk.

• Sajith Kumara (10/5): Plesurable and comfortable stay. - The owner Mr Aravinda , his wife, and their little daughter are very friendly and helpful. Calm and quiet place. The pool is small but good. Room is comfortable . AC is working. The home made breakfast is good. I recommend this place for everyone. For my next visit to Anuradhapura I'll definitely choose this place and wish to stay more longer. Nothing.

• Christa (7/5): Prima plek om te verblijven - Mooie locatie en hele aardige eigenaren. Ze helpen je bij het bekijken van de mooiste route om verder te reizen. Onze tuk tuk mocht op het terrein geparkeerd worden dat was erg fijn en toen we toch 1 dag minder wilden verblijven kregen we de kosten nog terug van de andere nacht. Erg meedenkend. De kamer was basic maar prima. We hadden was last van mieren in de douche.

• Chloë (9/5): Aanrader!! - Wij hadden een super fijn verblijf in het huis van dit super lieve gezin. Rustige omgeving. Wij hadden een comfortabele kamer aan het zwembad. Niet super groot maar wel fijn om je ‘eigen terrasje’ te hebben. In het zwembad is het heerlijk afkoelen. Je kan ook dineren bij het gezin. Het eten was echt heerlijk en zeer gevarieerd. De eigenaar was behulpzaam en hielp ons met alle vragen. We boekten de safari naar Wilpattu bij hen. We hadden het immense geluk om ook werkelijk een luipaard te kunnen spotten. Ook de lipbeer toonde zich tijdens onze rit!! De kers op de taart tijdens dit fijne verblijf :)
• Milou (9/5): - Heerlijk zwembad, mooi plekje. De eigenaar is super lief en heeft ons met vanalles heel goed geholpen. Hij heeft onze trip naar wilpattu geregeld en regelde dat we helemaal vooraan het park in gingen. Ook regelde hij heel fijn vervoer naar onze volgede bestemming. Het is een kleine accomodatie, waardoor je het gevoel krijgt dat je een privé accomodatie hebt. Echt een aanrader! De locatie is mooi, met de tuktuk ben je overal in 5 minuten. De kamers zijn simpel en wat verouderd. Het is zeker schoon, maar je ziet bijvoorbeeld wel dat de lakens al heel vaak gewassen zijn en wat vlekjes in zitten.

• Sonia (9/5): Awesome pool!! - A lovely homestay out of the hustle and bustle of the main town. Clean accommodation, comfy beds, hot water, good wifi, delicious breakfast. The pool made this a stand out. So good to come back after a hot day exploring ancient ruins, and cool down in the pool in evening. The owners are lovely and very happy to help with anything. It's a 20 minute walk into town, which didn't bother us as we like to walk. Not many restaurant options in the vicinity either, but tuk tuk ride is cheap and easy on PickMe app.

• Weltenseher (6/5): Zweckmäßig mit Pool - Eine schöne ruhige Lage des Hauses mit Pool. Mit freundlichen Gastgebern, wir haben kurzfristig unsere Pläne verändert und eine kulant Lösung mit dem Gastgeber gefunden 👍. Die Lage ist sehr günstig für Ausflüge, Tempel, Altstadt und Safari. Wir hatten leider ein sehr kleines Zimmer ohne Ausblick gebucht, die Ausstattung ist recht einfach.

De eigenaar maakt graag een praatje en denkt graag mee met je plannen en kan alles voor je regelen :) bedankt dat we hier mochten verblijven :)

• arnaud (8/5): 2 nuits à Villu Villa - La chambre était confortable. Moustiquaire et clim. Nous avons loué un tandem et 2 vélos. La ville se fait très bien à vélo. Nous sommes satisfait de notre séjour à Villu Villa. Le logement est un peu excentré de la ville. Possibilité de prendre un tuktuk pour rejoindre le centre.
• Monique (8/5): Goed voor 1 a 2 nachten - Kleine lokatie bij locals. Alles is wat verouderd maar schoon. Badkamer vernieuwd. Er is airco aanwezig. Beddengoed was verouderd, bed prima. Muskietennet aanwezig en er zijn ‘s avonds muskieten. Wij hebben er niet ontbeten, 1x diner, Sri Lankan Rice en curry, vers klaargemaakt. Zwembadje klein maar fijn, mooi omgeven door bloemen.
