Very friendly staff treat you like family.

- Candace (10/5): - The best place to stay in BVI, our third time staying here, has everything you need to enjoy your trip!
- Margaret (6/5): - There was no air conditioning in the living area (only the bedroom) and it was quite hot and humid. No dining services anywhere near the hotel and taxis were quite expensive. No TV. It was passable for one night.
- Hans (8/5): - Beautiful location and views, a bit difficult drive to get to with very limited parking. Restaurant was decent but pricey for the food. Very friendly staff. 10 minutes in either direction will get you to an amazing beach, Cane Garden Bay or Long Bay.
- Veronica (8/5): - Breathe taking views / peaceful environment. Kitchenette / living room space. Kitchenette fully equipped so you can cook your own meals when the restaurant is closed. I would def stay there again

- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent place to stay - The place was fantastic and easy to find. Great restaurant and bar. Super clean. You can’t beat the price!
- Sean (10/5): - Stunning location, simple and clean rooms, and friendly, genuine staff made it a wonderful stay.
- John (8/5): - Beautiful views
- John (10/5): - This is not the 4-Seasons. However if you want a relatively small locally owned facility book it! Thought the ocean view restaurant would be “OK” - wrong. Excellent menu. Great meal. Wide choices. You will not get better meal on the island (or at any resort).
- jck123123 (8/5): Quiet, warm getaway - Stayed here 4 nights in February. The view is amazing as is the service.
The rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and efficient.
If you don’t have a car, your only option is taxis, which work great.
You can walk to Stoutts. The restaurant at Heritage Inn is very nice. Again, great service
and just steps from your room.
Suggest bringing breakfast food for your room and enjoy the morning coffee on your balcony.
Evening on the balcony is all the better.
- Greg (10/5): - Outstanding view and super relaxed week. Easy access to the west side of the island. Staff was very helpful and courteously treated us as welcome guests.
- Carol (10/5): - Such warm and friendly staff! Beautiful view, excellent restaurant and bar.
- Randall (10/5): - incredible views and a wonderful restaurant on site. the staff were friendly and helpful.
- Jason (10/5): - Outstanding view from the property of the sunset, spacious, clean and cool room - excellent air conditioning. Small kitchenette for Breakfasts. We got a taxi to the hotel from Road Town ($24) and used local taxis to get to Cane Garden Bay, There are a list of local taxi companies provided by the Hotel. Restaurant food was outstanding- especially on Wednesday night- music and Jerk Chicken! Staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt like family. We will stay here again next time!
- mary e (8/5): - What a view ,nice staff very quiet, restaurant was great
- Jill (10/5): - Beautiful views.
Had to come home. -
- Susan Michelle (10/5): - Beautiful view. LOVED the breakfast option with Omari as our chef/waiter.
- JosephFahey (10/5): The Heritage Inn, Good Accommodations, Great Location and Quiet Setting - The Heritage Inn is inn that I would highly recommend. Great accommodations. The location is good too! Overlooking the ocean, there is a great view. There is also a restaurant attached. The location is quiet and serene. Tortola is a beautiful island with much vegetation; the island itself is very natural. If one would like to visit various locations on the island, including its capital of Road Town, taxis can be taken.
- Valerie M (10/5): - The property manager, Tia was wonderful!
- John (10/5): - The views from the property are exactly what you imagine about a BVI vacation! Up on the hill, the water and island views just reinforce the great decision to stay here.
The property was as described, very comfortable and welcoming. The on-site restaurant was great for happy hour and snack, although we did not have dinner there.
It is worth either renting a car, or making arrangements with the various taxi providers, since nothing is really walkable from here. Cane Garden Bay is close by, but it's a long walk down that hill to get there. The west end ferry terminal is close by, but also needs transportation to get there.
The staff were very friendly and tolerant with us, as we had failed to arrange a taxi on our last day. They connected us with someone that got us to the ferry on time.
I would not hesitate to stay here on future trips, but would be more prepared for transportation when doing so.
- wilfred martinez (10/5): - Great place to say. The staf Tia, it was clean, comfortable, equipped kitchen, wifi, a/c and spectacular views. Totally 100 recommended.
- Joseph (10/5): - The property was a great place to stay; staff very friendly and accommodating.
- Jatoya (10/5): - Lovely property! Feels like a home away from home! The views are breathtaking!
- Miles (8/5): - Quiet, nice and cool.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I'm so glad we chose to stay here. The staff were great and the views incredible.
- Judith (10/5): - Property manager Tia was amazing . Beautiful accommodations!
- jimnabholz (10/5): Wonderful Inn, Amazing Views, Great Restaurant - We stayed at Heritage Inn for a night after a recent sailing trip in the BVIs. What a treat! We were pretty exhausted and needed a great room for the night… we got it! We arrived early, and were greeted by Tia, a true gem! Our room was reacts so she helped us in.
The room was nice, not big, but had everything we needed! The A/C in the bedroom worked well. Tia set us up with a few items at the pool so we could relax all afternoon. She made our stay such a delight… thank you ma’am! The inn has amazing views as well! We would definitely good back! (the restaurant is awesome too).
- Joel (10/5): - The staff was great, very friendly. The property is clean and the views are spectacular.
- Randy (10/5): - Nestled on a hill overlooking the bay and islands. Beautiful site and beautiful people.
- Shirley (8/5): - Was a pleasant stay
- Michael (10/5): - The unit (kitchen, bath, bed room, living room) is excellent; clean and stocked with basic necessities. Right outside my unit were old railings and furniture which could be removed and area cleared of debris, but overall the property was great. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet, and a breath taking view, whether sunny or rainy.
- Mitchell Lee (10/5): - Wonderful views and great food
- Terrod (8/5): - Beautiful views
- JoVonn (10/5): - The room was modern and a great place to stay. Loved the pool too. We had a great view.
- Tyrone (10/5): - Awesome view, friendly staff, painless check in
- Pat (10/5): - It was above our expectation. Tia is the manager and she is fabulous. Beautiful view friendly people. Perfect for our needs.
- Hector (10/5): - Nice stay
- Lisa (10/5): - Beautiful view, great sunset. AC in room only which was fine. Nice kitchen, spotless bathroom, sitting area, and nice outside porch. Bananakeet is a very good restaurant with great view and crossbrease
- Jose (10/5): - EXCELLENT
- Jose (10/5): - EXCELLENT VIEW AND FACILITIES.
- Timothy (10/5): - Great getaway. Secluded, fantastic restaurant and staff. Super safe and laid back vibe. We stayed here for one night while waiting to take ferry to Virgin Gorda. While it’s only 9 miles, it takes 40 minutes. Highly recommend taxi vs renting car. Lots of twists. $30 per person. We used Kelly at Juicy’s taxi and he came back the next morning to take us back. Totally worth it!
- Molly (10/5): - Charming hotel with great views.
- Fabian (8/5): - The view of the ocean
- John (8/5): - Great views. Beautiful spot. Go up the hill to Stout's Lookout. Mr. Stout is the best. Only one recommendation - put AC in the entire unit, not just the bedroom.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Great value, clean room, friendly staff.
- Tan (10/5): - Very good but very expensive
- kendra (10/5): - Incredible views!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Gorgeous view, but disappointing - The views from the one-bedroom unit we had were spectacular, and the manager, Tia, was very nice. However, to our dismay, there was a thin connecting door to the neighboring unit, through which we had to listen to every word of the inconsiderate, loud couple staying next door. It was like having them in our unit - terrible. Had we known there would be an internal connecting door between units, we would not have stayed there. Also, the hot water in the shower ran out after two minutes, even when shutting off the water throughout the shower, so taking a shower was never comfortable.
- Jeri (6/5): Beautiful views - It is a nice hotel but location is difficult. Top of hill, if you don't have a rental car it is a dangerous and long walk to any beach or restaurant. Taxis are few and far between and no one was ever available to call or help. office always closed and manager supposedly lived in one of the units but did not answer door. Restaurant is average and way too expensive. Views are beautiful. Booked for price but still too high for what you get here,
- Salina (6/5): - We couldnt find the key for the room we looked we over
- Heidi (10/5): - Gorgeous views -- fabulous dinner, we would definitely come back
- Donna (8/5): - The Heritage Inn has gorgeous views! The rooms were clean although we did encounter a very large water bug on our last night. There are some cosmetic issues like peeling paint and random holes in the wall but it did not effect our stay. The air conditioners are in the bedrooms and we were comfortable all night. Netflix was available on the TV if you needed entertainment.
We booked both 2 bedroom suites and they are at the top of the building right next to each other which is very convenient when traveling with a group. The kitchen has what you need to get by but no oven if you need one. One room has steps that lead down to the front door and aren't marked with anti slip strips like you see in the US. There are multiple broken stepping stones between the rooms and they are definitely a trip hazard. Be careful.
We did not use the pool during our stay but it seemed to need maintenance.
The restaurant on site was outstanding! We had dinner and breakfast there and it was delicious. If you want separate checks ask ahead of time. They don't seem to be a fan of splitting checks.
The office staff was wonderful and very helpful during our stay with taxis and directions.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
- John (10/5): Pleasant surprise - Don't judge a book by its cover is how I would describe this hidden gem! View is amazing! Room was clean and very nice, but the restaurant is why this place is where you should stay!! Food and service are equally amazing!! Best restaurant in Tortola!!! Grouper is a MUST have!!!
- Bradley (8/5): - A couple staff members were great but others seemed annoyed to be dealing with customers. Each bedroom had air conditioning which was great but living room and kitchen did not. The taxi ride from the hotel to the airport ranged between $100-$125. There is not much within walking distance of the hotel. The view of the islands from the hotel was phenomenal. For us it worked well but we only had one night off the boat. Given the taxi fees I would’ve chosen somewhere closer to the airport.
- Ryan (8/5): - View of surroundings
- Felix (10/5): - Great
- Marjorie (10/5): We will stay there again - Very clean, comfortable suite with gorgeous views! Staff were all very polite and friendly and answered all questions with smiles.
- Cheilinett (10/5): - I love it the staff were super friendly
- STEPHEN (6/5): - The views are nice. The main staff person is not genuine. You never see the person anyway. TV doesn’t work most of the time. Cleaning staff great.
- Donald (10/5): - The staff was amazing, great intel on things to do on Island, and on other BVI islands.
- jennifersV5058ZU (10/5): Amazing customer service & stunning views. Don’t miss out- book today! - Possibly the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. This team went well-above and beyond anything Inciuld have dreamed of in ensuring that my friend and I had an excellent stay! In addition to the 5-star service, the location was convenient to everything, the view is STUNNING, gorgeous restaurant on site, pool is a salt water pool and the perfect temperature, rooms were nice and the beds were super comfortable. We spent a good amount of our time hanging out on our private patio, taking in the views, and drinking wine that we easily purchased from the restaurant. Best value I’ve had for my money in a long time. We discussed it, were never staying anywhere else in Tortola.
- Asim (10/5): - Everything
- Matt (10/5): - Great views, reasonable pricing and great onsite restaurant
- Desmond (8/5): - The views were excellent. The first room given to us was well below standard but the second was ok
- Lidiana (10/5): - Beautiful view
- Howard (8/5): - Beautiful location and friendly host
- Gary (8/5): View,View,View - Some of the best views on the island. Staff is excellent and the restaurant is not to be missed. The entrance is not marked well so be prepared to drive by it. It's best to have a car if you are staying a few days as the location is somewhat remote. We were disappointed that they were not serving breakfast but head down the road a couple of miles to Sebastian's. Best breakfast sandwich I ever had.
- Kevin (10/5): - Perfect
- Holly (8/5): - A sweet little room with a decent, not excellent, bed, enough kitchen tools to cook a meal if you need to, an incredible view, Netflix for your evening TV watch if you aren’t into the party scene. Super fast little ants in the kitchen had us putting everything in the fridge (welcome to the tropics!) but beautiful overall.
- Theresa (10/5): - Close to national park. Dining area on site
- Verified traveler (8/5): Relaxing stay - Gem of a place to stay for a couple of nights. Beautiful views from the location perched on the side of a hill. A bit of a walk to Cane Garden Bay on steep narrow road, but doable.
- Leslie (6/5): Pretty view, uncomfortable stay - Pretty location, but the stay was uncomfortable. No hot water in the shower and very little water pressure. No breakfast because they didn’t have a cook, and taxis are very hard to get there so you are just stuck. The AC unit was only in the bedroom, the rest of the place was very hot.
- Laura (10/5): - View was awesome. Food at the restaurant was great.
- Gerald (6/5): - It would have been a great place if the AC units in the bedrooms worked for all 5 days. One needed recharging and did not work at all but the circuits for both were down for 2 days. As well the hot water heater was down. The restaurant did not have breakfast the whole stay. Ran out of coffee, not replenished. The staff was wonderful
- Carey (10/5): - We LOVED our stay here! Food at the restaurant was fabulous! Views are AMAZING!
- jyellott (6/5): Good overnight spot - wouldn't recommend for a weekly stay... - Tia accommodated our late check in and provided us with some much needed snacks and water as our flights were very delayed. The property is small and the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast or lunch which was disappointing. We were looking forward to the food after reading so many of the positive reviews. Seems the chef was out? The room itself was small but more than adequate place to lay your head before departing on a sailing adventure as we did.
- allenroy05 (8/5): View place to fill your mind on a cold winter's night - Greatest view just about anywhere. Great service friendly staff. The only hold back from a 5 is the distance from the beaches. The Bananakeet restaurant is too good. A highly recommended dining experience . Was good value for the price. Triadviser needs a few words to get past thier 200 minimum
- Gerti (8/5): - It is located in a very quiet, isolated area, inbetween beaches. One definitely needs a car to get around. Driving on Tortola, on the left side, is not for the faint of heart. Roads are very windy, very steep, very narrow and have lots of pot holes and no shoulders. Road signage is practically non existent. Beaches are wonderful though if you don't mind getting to them via rough and unpaved roads e.g. Smugglers cove. The place will definitely suit anyone looking for quiet and relaxation. The restaurant serves delicious food, albeit on the pricey side. On our last day we found out that they don't do any recycling which was shocking to us. Everything goes in the regular garbage including glass bottles, alu cans, plastic bottles, styrofoam, plastic etc.
This is a shame in this day and age!
- Anthony (8/5): - The view from the property is amazing and the food at the restaurant was very nice.
However there were lots of ants in our room and all over the kitchen counter. The location is isolated so you would definitely need to hire a car or use taxis to get anywhere
- Kyana (10/5): - Everything about there is great
- Anthony Jr (8/5): - N/A
- John (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly and helpful staff.
- Kaycee (10/5): - Quiet location, short taxi ride to Cane Garden Bay. Friendly and attentive staff. Well kept property with a great view. Restaurant on location was excellent with excellent service.
- Rickey (8/5): - The ocean view was wonderful
- Susan (10/5): - Loved everything about this stay! The 2 bedroom was perfect for our family of 3. Could have just sat on the balcony the entire time & would have been happy, but we did drive around. Grocery store, rum distillery & Paradise bar/beach all very close. Whoever it was that complained about the steep driveway doesn’t belong on an island. The drive was an adventure & we loved it! Props to Tia for being an excellent hostess too!
- Jose (10/5): - Excelent, clean and better staff
- Dolivera (10/5): - In two words, breath taking, I loved everything, the food was delicious, the room was clean and beautiful. As always Expedia came through with flying colors
- Dena (2/5): - Oh beware! We booked because there were great reviews on the views and the restaurant. The restaurant was not open at all when we got there because it was a "bank holiday". The office was closed and the property manager was not answering the phone. He finally came out of one of the rooms after our taxi driver called him multiple times just long enough to give us a key. The kitchen had tiny bugs crawling all over it....I could go on and on, but the view really was pretty as it is in most of Tortola. This place is not near anything else so you need a taxi to take you to food, beaches, etc. Too bad the restaurant was not open on the only day we were there since I hear it is good. We did not enjoy the smoke smells the entire time we were outside. It is so sad because it could be a nice place if care was taken. I do feel we should have some sort of refund due to the circumstances.
