El área de la playa no tienen música, a pesar de que tienen sonido disponible no funcionan. El aire acondicionado del gym está muy alto y hace mucho calor. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel's bold minimalist architecture clean lines, open spaces, and every single room oriented toward the ocean. If you have an eye for thoughtful, modern design, this place will take your breath away. It feels like staying inside a living work of art. The service throughout our entire stay was nothing short of outstanding. What truly impressed us was the consistency, every single team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our experience special. We have to give special recognition to our private butlers, Jacob and Victor, who went above and beyond at every turn, anticipating our needs and adding thoughtful personal touches that made this trip truly unforgettable. They are a rare find in hospitality. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained the pools are gorgeous, the gym is well-equipped, and every shared space feels carefully considered and inviting. There's a wonderful sense of flow and calm throughout the entire property. Dining at the Viceroy was wonderful at the hotel's restaurants Nido, Nidito, Awacate, and Casero and each one delivered exceptional food and beverages, and impeccable service. A very special shoutout to Rosa, our waitress at Casero, whose warmth, hospitality, and flawless service made our daily breakfast truly special. She is a true gem. We cannot recommend the Viceroy Los Cabos highly enough. Whether you're drawn by the architecture, the oceanfront serenity, the dining, or the extraordinary people who make it all run, this hotel delivers on every front. We hope to be back soon! Nothing

- OnAir19446740921 (10/5): Best massage ever - I just had the best massage of my life, and I have to give a huge thank-you to Nancy. From the moment the session started, she was incredibly attentive, professional, and clearly very skilled at what she does. Nancy immediately understood exactly where I was holding tension and worked through those areas with the perfect balance of pressure and technique. Every movement felt intentional and therapeutic — not just relaxing, but genuinely effective. By the end of the session I felt completely reset: relaxed, loose, and pain-free. What really stood out was how intuitive she was. She adjusted pressure perfectly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. It’s rare to find someone who is both highly technical and deeply calming in their approach. If you’re looking for a massage that truly makes a difference, Nancy is exceptional. I’ll absolutely be coming back and would recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding massage experience.
- 291gz (6/5): Disappointed - Disappointing in so many ways. The exterior is beautiful, well maintained, excellent staff. Cement stairs everywhere but no handrails (I'm 75 so this is rather important). No filtered water dispenser anywhere for personal water bottles. Lots of plastic bottles in the rooms, other water costs $8/bottle. We traveled with 3 people in our room and so used the sofa bed. This was never set back into a sofa making the living area unusable during the day. No hooks anywhere for hanging robes in the bathroom or for wet swim suits. No reading lights - lights off in the bedroom meant lights off everywhere. Room service breakfast of 3 mimosas and 3 sweet rolls (cost of $100) came with one napkin and no plates. Only one mug was ever provided for the poorly working coffee machine - despite requests we couldn't get a replacement or extra mugs or coffee pods. As the room cost over $1000/day this is not what I'd consider luxury that is worth spending your money on. We are three middle income folks who wanted a lovely vacation and were sad about our choice.

- Meander552579 (10/5): Make the Investment and Reap all of the Viceroy's Fruit - Long time reader of TripAdvisor, not much of a poster but felt it necessary given my experience at the Viceroy. I looked over a year's worth of reviews of this resort and want to share my notes. THE PROs: 1). The resort is what appears on the pics, beautiful and one of a kind. Modern, clean lines, and an architects mushroom'd dream. 2). The guests = great people watching. Think older folks, mid 30s the youngest, mid 50s the average, with disposable cash and looks to prove it. Lots of couples, many from metro areas in CA or the East Coast (NYC) with some Europeans sprinked in. A few kids as well though they were pretty well behaved and were rarely a distraction. 3). Noise - or lack thereof. We stayed in building 5 a barely heard any neighbors or resort noise, save for if you open your balcony doors, but even then it's peaceful and quite. I don't get any sense of a "club" scene at all, with some music coming out of speakers by the beach pool, but really not much out of the restaurants and bar. 4). Clean - hard to find any guest litter, everything was washed, picked-up, mopped, sanded, etc to near perfection. 5). Transparency on costs - outside of resort fee, the room cost and extra charges were exactly what I calculated. 6). The service is really the crown jewell here, I read so many other reviews that list a handful of people and initially found that to be irrelevant; but after a 3night stay, I understand that the entire staff, waiters, butlers, factilities workers, all go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. So here I go...shout out to Jesus, the best pool side waiter I've ever had; Rosa, the sweetest waiter; Victoria our Butler that tended to our requests; Fernando our waiter at Nido, simply brought the fun. AREAS of IMPROVEMENT Only a few to think of and none of them even close to a deal breaker 1). Wish we had more/bigger wastebaskets in our room 2). We had only one closet hook to put our wet bathing suits on 3). We thought we paid for our entire room up front via Amex, but got hit with a $290 USD resort fee, which I thought we would have taken care of via the Amex website POSITIVES SURROUNDING THE VICEROY 1). Weather, we went the 3rd week of February and the weather was perfect. Nothing to do with the resort but complete sun 4 days in a row really showed off the Viceroy's landscape. 2). San Jose - just a 8-10min Uber from the hotel, we went Thurs night for Art Walk and the scene was fun but nothing to a Cancun Spring Break vibe; populated but not crowded, clean and safe. Dinner at La Lupita made the best tacos I've had in a looooong time 3). Flora Farms/Acre - about a 15-20min drive, but close and incredible grounds to visit when in Cabo 4). La Comer - whole foods type grocery basically across the street from the resort, grab some sundries and fill up your room's mini fridge Net-net: the Viceroy isn't cheap, but you will feel a ROI+ given the hotel grounds, the fellow guests, the service, the 1%ers experience, and the good vibes. We've done the LeBlanc in Cabo last year and wouldn't even think of another spot in Cabo than the Viceroy.

It was one of the resorts I had heard of but never had been to before. I was pleasantly surprised at the layout and was given a personal concierge Victor. He was very kind and helpful and went above and beyond to assist with some hiccups along the way even after I had come home we stayed in touch to complete a task. Additionally the front desk staff and servers we all fantastic and made me feel special..ill definitely be back! Muchas Gracias

The hotel is beautiful, its warmth and wonderful people made me want to return, although we had a small issue in the pool, Gustavo took care of giving us attention and we were able to turn something uncomfortable into something great. Without a doubt, we will return.

We would definitely stay again. - The hotel was in a perfect location for our vacation itinerary. Easy walk to the market and downtown. We enjoyed watching whales breach from our ocean view room with coffee each morning. Onsite breakfast was good and we were not charged for bottled water in our room. All the staff on site were polite. There was really nothing to not like during our stay. Not sure why they charge for bottled water at meals when you get it for no charge in your room.

All the restaurants had excellent food. The tacos at Nidito are the best. Try the steak quesadilla too! The service was amazing from arrival to departure. Friendly staff. The spa and gym were superb . We would definitely go back. There are a lot of room configurations that are quite unique and inviting. The best is the water features through out the property . So unique! You feel like the resort is in the ocean.
- DerekDenmark (10/5): Great Time at Viceroy Los Cabos and Great Butler Service - My friend and I had a great time at Viceroy Los Cabos. Everyone was helpful and friendly. And a special shout out to Victor, our Butler, who was always available, always asked to help and see what we needed, and went above and beyond for us. Definitely increased the enjoyment of our stay. It was mostly couples during our stay, but we found everyone to be very nice. It was clean, quiet and very chic. It's very expensive, as others have said. In fact, I think it's over priced for what you pay for and preferred eating offsite. More reasonable prices - and this isn't an affordability question, it's a value for money and where do I want to spend my money question - and we would've definitely tried the restaurants and bars. But with other options easy to get to....another shout out to the breakfast staff. They were excellent every single day, making sure we had what we needed. I don't remember names as I was too busy to write the review until now, but they all deserve recognition!

Our most coveted experience was having Alexis as out host. He was on call 24/7 and would handle anything from reservations to spa to our hot tub not working. He was FLAWLESS and went far above the call of duty! He MADE our weekend!! I would HIGHLY recommend this property and getting the HOST AND SPA package!! ( the spa was the first spa that my wife and i could steam/ sauna/ cold plunge/ hot tub and massage together. Super fun!!!). Thank you Viceroy and THANK YOU ALEXIS!!!!

- R Tyler (10/5): Incredible Stay at the Viceroy on ALL LEVELS - Excellent food on all levels at the restaurants. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to all needs, and eager/happy to serve. Victoria and Edin in particular were exceptional. The bed was a little too firm, but they accomodated us quickly by putting a foam egg crate under the covelet.
- Jason (9/5): Unique and Beautiful Design Beach Resort with Great Services for $$ - The property is beautiful, modern and well designed making it a unique and chic experience. Rooms and bathrooms are large, beds comfortable, with nice balconies and views out to the ocean. Pools are wonderful and the gym is large with a good amount of equipment. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience and worth the room price for the quality of the property and location. The cost of services at the Viceroy is very expensive, especially for Mexico. Everything is in US prices and at a very high mark-up. With 16% tax and a 15.6% service charge attached to everything it makes it a very pricy place to stay. Staff, while very friendly, were always offering upgrades and additional services, felt a bit pushy. With lots of weddings happening at the property, loud parties are going on until about 11pm each night on the weekend, which are heard all around the property and can make it hard to sleep, so bring ear plugs.

Everyone is so incredibly kind, the rooms were amazing with a huge shower and a gorgeous view and a comfortable bed and plenty of space for our family. We had two wonderful hosts Victoria and Edin that helped us with anything we needed including reservations, an amazing ziplining experience and fun activities happening throughout our stay. The food was also fantastic and our kids loved the kids club.

Prices include 15.6% service charge but staff expect more. Hotel on flight path so often noisy. Paid over $500 per night on Room Only basis for partial ocean view. It was not worth it.

- Go782864 (10/5): Beyond our expectations! - We absolutely loved our time at the Viceroy Los Cabos. The beauty of the resort design was stunning. We were greeted by the staff who were accommodating and friendly. Our personal host, Jennifer, was above and beyond to make our stay unique. She helped problem solve when I lost an item and made great recommendations based on our input. She was gracious, calm, and always had a smile on her face. Her presence added and extra element to the trip elevating the experience. Our room was fabulous. Again, the design and function are impeccable. The housekeeping staff were like little fairies....always dropping in when we were out to clean up, provide turn down service, or just to check in. My husband and I commented that we haven't slept that good in a long time. And the food....wow. We tried every restaurant on the premises and were always impressed by the quality, creativity and taste! This will not be our last time to the Viceroy.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful especially our concierge Roberto and Jennifer. They made sure all our needs were met. Our room was always cleaned multiple times a day and the spa was the best we’ve experienced. Breakfast was so good and the fish ceviche at Nidto was so delicious.

This place is beautifully designed and maintained to be both modern and chic and, honestly, the photos do not do it justice. It is just stunning. Rooms are spacious, all with private balconies and modern decor. Pools are everywhere with an option for everyone. The gym is, seriously, world class. Mostly though, it is the service. From the front desk, to the restaurants, to in-room service, and beyond, the staff is top notch at every level; friendly, engaging, helpful, and proactive. In addition, we were fortunate to have Jacob and Victor as on-site assistance and they were incredible. Communicating mostly through text, they made sure to check in on timing of various room services and make sure we had dinner reservations (which they secured). They were both warm and professional, making sure everything was taken care of at all times. Honestly, we kind of miss them. We highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be back. - rustinfranklin (4/5): Skip and go elsewhere - We booked a room that was suppose to have a full ocean view but half of our room view was the resort. Our balcony jacuzzi had broken jets. We told the resort we were celebrating a birthday and hired a butler, however they did not accommodate anything special. Even when we ordered room service, the butler did not bring it. The resort applied a delivery service fee when food was delivered. Our assumption was the butler would be doing that since we paid up front. The butler did not make any attempt to make reservations for us anywhere. We asked repeatedly what tasks do the butlers normally do and the reply was "to help the staff". It was completely different from every other butler we have hired before. The water between the buildings was clean. You can not get in the ocean at anytime do to a constant riptide. We felt the noise level was acceptable and did not bother us. We did not find the value and relaxing vacation that we were seeking.

From the moment we were picked up from the airport to when we arrived at the property, the experience and service were great. The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious, modern, and provide beautiful views. We had two hosts assigned to us (Jacob and Victor), and they were absolutely amazing. They checked in with us every day throughout the day to see if we needed anything and quickly responded to any request that we had. They also assisted with booking dinner reservations. They were the best and made our stay that much better. They are a true asset to Viceroy Los Cabos. We would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it to others visiting Cabo.
- Storyteller426756 (10/5): Viceory is the Spa to Book in Cabo! - A group of seven of us ladies booked spa appointments at Viceroy. The service from the time I booked our appointments online through the entire experience the day of was thoroughly attentive and absolutely wonderful. They notified us to come an hour early so that we could enjoy the full amenities of the spa. Upon our arrival, the staff greeted us with warm welcomes and explained the amenities we were welcome to use prior to our services. It was an amazing hour of relaxation prior to our scheduled service with masks and scrubs that accompanied the Dry sauna, Steam room, Jacuzzi, Cold plunge and Vitality pool. Healthy snacks, flavored water and green tea were available in the waiting area which we were escorted to a short time before our service and where we were sent to relax post-service. Five of us booked massages (Deep Tissue and Relaxation/Swedish) while the other two had 90 minute Sublime Lift Facial. Each one of us had an extremely relaxing service and considered this to be one of the best experiences we had ever had. Some of us have been to One & Only Pamilla and we felt this definitely surpassed our experience at a more reasonable price! Definitely one we will never forget!

- 231faraha (10/5): Must not miss this special resort. - First stay at the Viceroy. What a beautiful property. First of all it's visually stunning and captivating with the water and the nests. The building were set in such a way that most rooms have an excellent view. The service is outstanding. Upon arrival we were assigned two butlers: Israel and Alexis who immediately set up a WhatsApp chat group and pinged us frequently to see what we needed. I had already made reservations so we didn't end up needing much help but they were available from 7AM-10PM daily for any whim. The pools are spread out over a few levels and you never feel like you're 10 people deep away from a pool. I appreciate the solitude and serenity the property provides. The resort is only 3.6 miles from downtown San Jose which was about a $4 Uber ride. Super simple and fast every time we used it The only minor issue that I experienced and read about on TA is the tipping. Many of the checks at on property restaurants/bar show 'servicio' charge of 15%. When I first arrived we ate at the restaurant on floor 1 beneath the reception. I asked our server Karen who said the servicio charge didn't get to the waiters and she needed me to add additional gratuity for her. Not knowing better I did that. Come to find out the service line is for included gratuity. Onto the butlers. I wish there were guidelines provided by the resort on how to tip the butlers. Front desk explained there is no policy and it's really up to the guests to decide... Makes it hard to know if I overtipped ($20/butler/day) or undertipped. Either way minor issue but I wouldn't want the staff to think we're being rude--a little guidance would go a long way here.

The architecture and layout is unique, feeling as though the whole resort is floating in water. Our hosts Estefanía and Manuel were great, always checking in with us to make sure we were taken care of , and we were. Everyone at the resort was friendly and more than accommodating. The rooms and hotel grounds were extremely clean, we didn’t see any bugs at all compared to other resorts we ventured to for dinners. They had a great gym which was never too crowded. The area by one of the pools can get a little noisy during the day, but I think that may just have been our experience as there was a wedding party that weekend. However, we never had issues with noise in our room. Our server Carlos at the Casero restaurant was the best! He was welcoming, had a jovial personality and always made sure all of our needs were attended to promptly, without us even asking. Overall I would recommend staying at the Viceroy.

Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making our wedding week special. Our guests felt the same; the entire group was made to feel completely at home. We were also given a beautiful upgrade, which set the stage for an incredible stay. Our butlers, Jennifer and Roberto, were extraordinary. They handled everything, from securing pool cabanas for our group pool party, to beautifully decorating our room multiple nights, sending champagne, and anticipating every need before we even voiced it. Their care and attention made the entire week feel effortless. We also spent time in the spa and booked a 90-minute couples massage, which was truly magical- one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Afterward, Alberto guided us through the hydrotherapy circuit, and it was hands-down the most thorough, relaxing, and well-led hydrotherapy experience we’ve ever had (and we are spa people!). His knowledge, presence, and the intentional flow of the circuit elevated our morning into something unforgettable. Inez at breakfast was phenomenal as well. She took care of us every single morning and went above and beyond to help my elderly father feel comfortable and included. Her patience and kindness meant so much to our family. We visit Cabo yearly and always stay at another hotel, but after this experience, we will absolutely be returning to Viceroy. The service was exceptional, the staff left a lasting impression, and our wedding week was genuinely magical because of them. Highly, highly recommend.

We stayed in an ocean-view suite, and waking up to those panoramic views each morning felt like a dream. The architecture, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail throughout the property are truly world-class. What made our trip unforgettable, though, was the staff. Our butlers, Victor and Jacob, were phenomenal—attentive, thoughtful, and always two steps ahead of what we needed. Carlos, the sommelier, made our wine-tasting experience one of the highlights of the trip. His knowledge, personality, and passion for what he does are remarkable. And Jesus by the pool, along with so many other staff members, delivered outstanding service every single day. Viceroy Los Cabos exceeded every expectation. If you’re considering this resort, don’t hesitate—book it. You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to return!

- remmieb2015 (10/5): Relaxing vacation - We stayed at the Viceroy Los Cabos for 5 nights and had a great time. The rooms were nice and clean, great views of the pool and ocean. There was a transformer that blew resulting in a small electrical fire in one of the buildings and the power was out in the entire hotel complex for about 12 hours. The staff did the best they could, supplying the hotel guests with coffee and pastries during the morning hours. The staff is the best part of this beautiful hotel. They are all very polite and professional. I had butler service included with my room rate. Victor and Jacob were always available and handled all my requests quickly and professionally. Victor and Jacob could not have done a better job. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful vacation.

They took care of me in a way that went above and beyond anything I expected. You can tell they truly care about their guests, and it meant a lot. I went with 4 other friends and we got the all inclusive add on which was so worth it. The food was amazing. The service was top notch. The premises were breath taking and clean. Victor and Jacob were our assigned "butlers" and they went above and beyond to tend to our every needs. Daniel at Nido was so knowledgeable and made ordering a breeze. Martin Duarte at Cielomar was fun and accommodating. Would not hesitate to book this resort!

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurants are great. The spa is world class and well worth a visit. Two of the staff members (Jennifer & Roberto) were extremely supportive checking in with us daily to take care of anything we needed so kudos to them. We will definitely go back to the Viceroy on our next visit to Cabo.

Both were very attentive to our needs. There was a fire in the garage, which awoke us in the early morning hours and made our Villa uninhabitable, however, Victor and Jacob worked with the front desk and were able to secure an even more stately accommodation for our group with very little interruption in our service. In addition, they both secured reservations outside of the property so we could experience Cabo San Lucas at its finest. Thanks again Jacob and Victor.

The hotel is in a great spot, right on the beach and a $5 Uber ride into town square with restaurants directly across from the hotel. All of the food we ate at the hotel was amazing. Especially dinner at Cielomar. The staff there were so nice and attentive. Brought out a dessert and sparkler for our anniversary and they had a live band play during dinner. Although the food at the resort is expensive, it’s on par with Vegas prices for restaurants/food. Getting chairs at the pool was always easy. The pool attendants were helpful and kind, always offering to adjust the umbrellas. The water temperature was refreshing in the heat and was perfect temperature. They even had sunscreen at the pool you could use. Over all, I would stay here if we came back to Cabo

Our palates were given precious textures and flavors of salmon sashimi in a truffle oil sauce as well as Wagyu A5 beef cooked to perfection (to name a few).

The pools inside the pool of water you walk through and under to get to the beach. Amazing Fitness room state of the art. The staff are over the top with always trying to be helpful, maybe too much but you don't see that every day.

Wasn’t really able to sleep in due to the noise. But the resort itself is gorgeous as well as the amenities such as the pool. Really close to the town and the art walk was amazing!!! Ubers are easily accessible.
