• Samuel (10/5): - The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast was delicious and had many options to choose from. The room has a wall-mounter thermostat, but the room didn't seem to match the temperature I had set.

• Geraldine (10/5): This was a luxurious oasis, in the midst of tranquility and a gentle caring efficient staff. - The staff were very helpful and pleasant. In particular we were met on arrival by Santiago who was informative and answered all our queries, from a group of 8 friends. He assisted us throughout our stay and his manner was consistently kind and respectful. I was very impressed. The lady who helped us check out at 6am was also helpful. on site bar and restaurant would have been good, but the nearby facilities were great and it was not an inconvenience to visit them.

• Leon (7/5): Prima plek - Fijne locatie, prima kamers en erg prettig dat je een plekje in de tuin hebt die semi-privé is. Erg rustig wat het lekker ontspannen maakt. De vloer van de douche was een houten vlonder die op een bad was gelegd. Dit is om het rolstoelvriendelijk te maken maar het voelde niet stevig aan.

Fuimos a decirlo a recepción y ni nos cambiaron de habitación, ni nos enviaron a un técnico de mantenimiento porque era de noche, ni vinieron de recepción a comprobarlo... me lo tuve que comer roda la noche y no pudimos dormir

• Mieke (5/5): Dit hotel is een afknapper! - De omgeving is prachtig. Uitzicht vanuit de ontbijtruimte. Het ontbijt is prima. De uitstraling van het hotel is kil en ongezellig. Veel achterstallig onderhoud in de kamer en het zwembad (ontbrekende tegels, losse reling om het zwembad in te gaan). Het hotel wordt niet goed schoongemaakt; vloer in ontbijtruimte is smerig; vieze hoeken op de houten trappen; vlekken in badkamervloer. Ongezellige lounge. Dit is absoluut geen 4-sterren hotel. Geen idee waar de hoge beoordeling vandaan komt maar dat is het zeker niet waard.

Although it is a bit cold to use the swimming pool, it is still enjoyable to sit next to eat and enjoy the sunshine. The room is spacious with a landscape deck outside. Wish we can stay there one more day. Nothing. Well hair-drier can be upgraded (I am just being picky here :P).

• Gates (10/5): Luxurious place to stay but a well deserved reward for the Camino. - This is a wonderful, if more expensive place to stay on the variante espiritual. It is luxurious with a great breakfast and very near to the monastery. After the walk up it is a well deserved treat.

It wasn’t what we needed or wanted but it was nice having the extra room. Everything was neat and clean, and the staff were all very nice. It’s a very modern building! The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Everything you could want. While there was much I enjoyed about the room, I strongly disliked (hated?) the giant glass window to the bathroom, so whomever was sitting at the desk or in the seating area had a full on view of the tub, shower and toilet! I honestly have no idea why someone would design a room like this. Who wants to watch someone doing their business in the bathroom, or be watched? Okay maybe some people LOL. Not us!! I am assuming this was only in the suite and not the regular rooms
