• Lok Che (7/5): It is fine. - Toilets and the beds are quite clean. Staff are very friendly. Mattresses are so soft that my back hurts the next day. Very noisy, I can hear people using the stairs the whole night. Only one socket next to my own bed. Could have curtains for each guest for more privacy.

• Rahidah (10/5): Wonderful experience for my children as it was their 1st time staying in a youth hostel. - Clean, well equipped, location is within walking distance to the town. Peter was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a family room for 5 pax. Nice setup as self catering facilities were available as option for people who wants to prepare their own meals. Nothing.

De locatie was voor ons uitstekend; op loopafstand van het treinstation. Aangename ruimte om te ontbijten en te ontspannen in de avond. De bedden waren wat aan de harde kant.

• DEEPAK JACOB KURIAN (3/5): Just in a hell - Feel tidy 6 share bed in a 200sqst (approximate note sure) room. Snoring, flatulent..phone chat some one sleep without dress. Very hard to survive my nights ,i cant sleep and quit at 5am or near by .Actually I booked for two days. I escaped from there at early morning and took other wonderful homestay. My second day money lost .Please if you have 5frends take the whole room elsewhere think about other options pls

• Carolyn (6/5): It was useful to sleep somewhere have the facilities and reception to use. - I liked the breakfast. The bed was not comfortable and was hard and I felt cramped in the bunk which did not make sense to me having used similar bunks in another hostel recently which seemed spacious enough and seemed the same size. I was at first surprised to find a kitchen but then it did not meet requirements for cookware which I needed to bake something in oven to table ware and there were only large baking tins not any ceramics or baking dishes.

• Felipe (7/5): Good, but have some things in mind. - The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. There were times I wanted to just chitchat with them. The location is also a great pro of this hostel, making Cambridge centre around 1km away. I found it weird having a sink in the bedroom, and just the shower somewhere else. I expected either a suite (bedroom + bathroom) or the sink to also be in the bathroom. The curtains also didn't close properly -- if I hadn't taken my eye mask, it'd be impossible to sleep with the brightness of the sun on my face. The lockers also worried me: mine was the only one that did one close properly, so I couldn't even lock it and make my things officially safe.
• Abeona (8/5): Good Budget Accommodation T - The staff were exceptional.in helping people and in interactions with guests. It was good that there was a kitchen area where guests had the option of cooking their own food and fridges were provided for this purpose.. It was very clean. In the communal lounge the furniture was worn down. A SPAM message that appeared on an email.about a card update request caused panic, so myself and lots of other people franrically phoned the bank thinking they had been conned. It was a relief to find the request had been genuine and that the YHA has a double identification policy. I nearly cancelled my cards. Why then did the email system.mark it as SPAM? This matter needs addressing. After transactions went through at the YHA, I still received notification of a problem.after staff confirmed everything was fine.
• 40d333b3950272fb00bbbd0930967fd9 (8/5): würde wieder buchen - Das Personal ist supernett, es gibt ein gemütliches Cafe/Frühstücksraum und eine gute Küche für Selbstversorgung. Alles ist recht sauber. Das Zimmer war klein aber sogar mit Waschbecken und sehr preiswert. Auch "ältere Gäste" sind willkommen. Im Sommer wahrscheinlich unerträglich heiß, da Fenster nur einen Spalt aufgeht und die Sonne aufs Fenster scheint... In der ersten Nacht war es sehr laut durch eine Schulklasse (womit in Jugendherbergen zu rechnen ist).

• Altaf Baig (8/5): - A good place to visit, especially when you are a first time visitor to UK. Staff are very supportive and polite. Washroom fresheners can be a good addition.

• Eva (8/5): - The hostel is fine. The location is good, close to the station, with the city centre not too far away. Several (clean) toilets and showers are available, so you don't need to wait. There was a bit of noise in the evening, but not too bad. Like in any shared dorm room, there might be some noise when people are coming and going.
• ALIREZA (6/5): - The hostel is generally clean, well-maintained, and in a convenient location. The overall atmosphere is good and comfortable for a short stay. The bed arrangement in the room was not ideal — the layout meant another guest’s feet were very close to my face, which was uncomfortable. Also, I left my towel and some personal belongings on my bed in the morning, but when I returned at night, everything had been removed, and the bed was tidied up, which was unexpected and inconvenient.

No inclusions such as tea/coffee in the rooms, no included shower gels only hand soap. Couldn't be confident room was locked from the inside as no latch to turn or visible indicator. Room was so basically decorated and empty that it felt like a prison cell. Paid £100 for one night and probably should have just got a regular hotel for about £80 which offered an included breakfast.

• Jacques Willems (5/5): Top locatie, slechte slaapplaats - * Personeel was allemaal uitermate vriendelijk. * Op de site van booking.com was niet helemaal duidelijk, dat de bedden alleen bunk bedden betroffen. Maar dat was niet zo'n probleem, zelfs best hilarisch. * Warm ontbijt was goed. Keuze bij continental viel tegen (geen vlees of kaas) * Locatie vlakbij station en centrum prime aspect. * De lounge was best wel gemoedelijk om te zitten. * Onze kamer was erg gehorig en vanaf half 6 in de ochtend was het een lawaai van jewelste in de ons omringende kamers en op de trap. * De bedden waren keihard. Ieder zijn smaak wat betreft matrassen is anders maar dit was extreem. * Gedeelde badkamer en toilet was bekend en geen probleem. Echter, een van de medegasten had het toilet gebruikt als douche dus overal papier en water. Housekeeping was op dezelfde verdieping dus dit doorgegeven toen we gingen ontbijten. Commentaar was, dat sommige gasten er idd. een potje van maken maar toen we terugkwamen van het ontbijt was er niets aan gedaan.

• Prudence (7/5): Bon rapport qualité/prix - L'auberge de jeunesse était à côté de la gare, dans un quartier assez silencieux. Les chambres et communs étaient propres et le staff était très sympathique.
