• Kevin (10/5): Very good - Old school style drive up motel, but with modern, updated rooms. Reasonably priced. Very clean. Comfortable: wifi worked well, plenty of hot water, easy parking. Friendly owner. Tim’s is a short drive away, as well as other restaurants. Great place to stop in Port Hope. We would stay there again.

New ones would improve the room or put a whitener in the wash. Also a safty bar in the shower would be nice for seniors like us and kids too. Location is close to many amenities.. Recommend and will stay again next time in the area!!!

• Fred (10/5): Get off the highway - Surprised by the wonderful state of the rooms: very clean, new flooring, new bathrooms, maintained in optimum condition. Excellent find in Welcome, ON...off the beaten path of hy 401.

The room was clean, everything was perfect. I can say that I slept like a baby, as the mattress was super comfy. My only regret is to not ask what brand it was. I strongly recommend!

• christopher (10/5): - I've been bicycling across Canada this summer and have stayed in dozens of motels. This was by far the nicest one I have stayed in, but the cost was similar to all the motels that smelled bad, had 40 year old beds and linens, and frequently had non-working air conditioners or mini-fridges. I wish I had a reason to head back, as the linens were similar quality to what I use at home, and the shower had honest-to-goodness marble walls! All the amenities and fixtures seemed new. This place has earned my top ratings!

• Chris (10/5): Very Nice Little Motel - This motel is just a couple of minutes north of hwy 401. It seems to be owned by a dedicated family. The grounds, parking lot and rooms are well kept. We stayed in a queen room that was recently renovated and obviously new everything including comfortable mattresses. Would highly recommend.
