Diane (10/5): Good stay - Was surprised how accessible the accessible room was. Car park not good for wheelchair users no accessible parking. Also theres a long oush to the entrance good path but if its raining you will get bit wet before you can see the entrance which is step free.Wet room very good. Also the single bed and bunk beds were comfy, however it was difficult to close the room door as it opened out. Good ramp access even when there's steps. Staff are very helpful. There was only one room we couldn't use due to steps was the lounge.

Brenda (4/5): Manager refused refund for rip off food - On entering the room it was evident it hadn’t been hoovered let alone surfaces dusted or cleaned or cob webs removed from window….or hot drink stained ledge above bed cleaned .I immediately returned to reception to report this…the girl on reception didn’t look happy to grant my request to clean it….but she did…when I said cleanliness was very important to my physical health…on return bathroom was still dusty but I let it slide…I then went and ordered dinner … advertised as chicken ham leek pie….all I could hear was microwave and oven doors getting slammed…so wasn’t hopeful….I’d driven far,when it arrived the pastry was very thin and risen high to give the effect of value for money ….the filling was a hot runny gloopy sauce…1 newborn babies finger nail size of a thin slither of chicken and grated minute shavings of ham like pink pepper specks…I was still that hungry I ordered a portion of fries that was less than a fist full …in a very small tin Ashet dish…I commented in the morning whilst awaiting breakfast I also paid for and the female chef was embarrassed and said she knew and felt the same before she served me it… the lady that cleaned the room warmed&let me borrow a charger&cable for my mobile which was lovely…the guy I presume was the manager made it obvious he wasn’t keen on engaging…I got the impression they where all happy sat behind the reception desk chatting amongst themselves.him and the chef where happy to look at the map & tell me 2 more yha’s to stay at
Suha (10/5): Clean friendly staff - First it was tricky to find the reception as the parking at the back and there is a walk to the front. Probably some small arrow signs helps. Everything was clean. Quiet at night. Just all good for a transit trip.

Romulús (10/5): Nice place and cosy - The wifi is not working at upstairs rooms. The bed for single ocupancy has quite unsafe bed rest I have had to move my pillow to the other side ofthe bed. But I met a very assertive and nice staff, very clean and lovely environment.

Sandeep (2/5): Bad experience - When we book hotel that shows a double bed in that room but when we go there room was very small and there was a one small bunk bed for two adults . we booked that hotel for three nights but we cant stay even one night.we had really very bad experience. We are not happy and never recommend that hotel for anybody. And also they should refund us.
Sally (10/5): - I was back in Stratford visiting friends so I know the area well. The YHA location is excellent , ideal to have on site parking in Stratford. The room and facilities were very good and the staff very friendly and helpful, the food was very good. I will certainly stay again next year when on my next visit.

Joseph (10/5): A nice hostel--walk or bus from Stratford - The hostel is nice, with excellent staff. It's a bit far from town and can be hard to find if your first visit is after dark. (Not all of the way is well lit.) Catch Bus 15 across from McDonald's and ask the driver to let you off at the youth hostel. Once you know what you're doing it's a pleasant 45-minute walk, or check the bus schedule. Good breakfast available.

CA (8/5): - Staff here extremely friendly, at all hours of the day and night. Had a private room my first night, then a shared female dorm the next two. The private room was the same as the dorm, just with one bunk bed rather than 4, so everything pretty standard. Beds themselves comfortable enough, showers and toilets clean and looked well kept. The breakfast buffet is convenient... but I had much better breakfasts. Worth it for the fact that you pay just 6.95 and can keep getting refills until breakfast is over, I even saw some people loading extra plates into takeaway boxes for a lunch! The cook staff were helpful and even had gluten free bread available. Picnic tables were a nice touch for eating and relaxing at in the evening. I took the bus between here and Stratford, and it was pretty reliable. The one con would have to be the camps of screaming children that seem to arrive at 7:30am every day...!
