Very well equipped with a great cafe too. My only complaint is that the bedroom doors shut noisily which means you wake with the early risers. All else was perfect

Lynne (8/5): A very convenient location - Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Staff were very welcoming.Room was fine just a little warm so just left the widow open a little. Toilets & showers were clean. Kitchen was great. Breakfast was okay wouldve been better if the bacon / hash browns were warmer. Good for a hungry person as they give you more if you ask. Had very noisy neighbours but thats not the staffs fault just very thoughtless people that obviously thought they had the whole building to themselves.

Daniel (6/5): A mixed-bag of a stay - A picturesque location, the YHA Keswick is situated near the town centre. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. A large bar serving food and drink, in excess of the self-catering facilities which has everything you need. Showers are modern and clean, and the room was large and comfortable. Breakfast proved value for money. No staff are in the hostel after 10 and I had to call the night manager out to try and identify a noisy neighbour, to no avail. Sits uneasy with me that no staff are at this property all night.

Grant (6/5): Keswick yha - Check in is extremely late 5pm most places it 3pm at the latest. The service we got was great lovely member of staff. The room was what you would expect only down side was that it was that hot in the room no one got any sleep at all even with the window open and radiator off.

Verified traveler (10/5): All the staff are amazing with the current times - We felt really safe especially with the coronavirus. We booked a shower slot and another member of the hostel used it instead. I went downstairs to the reception and dealt with it straight away. They cleaned another shower block and let us know when it was clean. Just felt like they were doing an amazing job under the current circumstances and to make the visitors feel safe.

Unfortunately the room had been advertised as private family room, partly open bathroom, which to me meant it was in the room. Found out at check in this is a shared bathroom, which I wasn't happy about. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay & will contact property direct I future

Pad (4/5): No parking on site - After arrival had to drive around for 15 minutes to find a space as there was no parking ended up a ten minute walk from the hostel. No accessible electric sockets in the room. Not bad but not what we expected considering the price, no breakfast included either

DAVID (10/5): Very pleasant hostel with great staff. - I was very happy with my stay here. We stayed in a 3 bedded room with a river view and plenty of storage.The shower rooms and toilet facilities were excellent.We enjoyed breakfast which was fine if not outstanding.The drying room proved useful and we enjoyed excellent wifi. Finally, the check in procedure and the customer service was very efficient and friendly.

Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location to base at. Derwentwater is just 20 minutes walk away. The main entrance was under decoration works so we had to carry our luggage to the second floor through scaffolded bridge and stairs. The hostel has a nice common room with TV and numerous board games.
Geoff (8/5): Keswick YHA under renovation - The experience was good. However the hostel suffered recent flood damage, it is beside a river, and guests cannot cook for themselves. There are temporary outside stairs leading to the first floor where reception is, then a further couple of flights if you are located on top level. However my room was comfortable, staff were helpful, and it was near to the town centre where there are lots of food places.
Andrew (4/5): hard to find and difficult to get to - Expencive for the size and what is offered, The room was in the main hallway outside the common rooms and kitchen with a squweeky door so everytime someone went into the common kitchen or reck room i knew about it. Difficult to find and get to, no parking and only free parking is 500m away. >>>> My room key was given out to another couple that acsedently entered my room at 12:30am, i was told "we are sorry but it happens" by the staff.
PETER (10/5): Excellent YHA in the middle of Keswick - This is a really pleasant YHA, great location in Keswick overlooking river, really well kept and run, room very clean and cosy, nice showers....and all for £39 for a 4 bed room, thought that was brilliant value for money.
