- Ulrich (4/5): - Es war das schlechteste Preis-Leisungsverhältnis aller Hotels unserer Tour. 300€ pro Tag/ÜF für die wir ein unsagbar schlechtes Frühstück erhielten. Lauter minderwertige Produkte, lieblos arrangiert, kalte Eierspeisen und unglaublich matschige Spiegeleier ebenfalls kalt. Die sog. Junior Suite mit Blick über die Parkplatzzufahrt hatte Bettzeug wie im 2 Sterne Hotel in Spanien (Laken plus Decke); das Bettgestell aus Eisen wurde ergänzt durch billig wirkende Möbel aus dem Poco Katalog. Für 100,-€pro Nacht hätte ich es noch akzeptabel gefunden. Unsere um Längen bessere 4 und 5 Sterne Hotels auf Mykonos und anderen Inseln waren alle top in Sachen Lage, Ausstattung, Essen und Service und lagen zwischen 200-250,-€ pro Nacht. Insgesamt super ärgerlich, dass wir dieses Hotel gebucht hatten. Positiv: Altstadt Naoussa und Strände bei Santa Maria. In Naoussa gibt es aber auch tolle Unterkünfte. Ich habe mich von den guten Bewertungen blenden lassen und hörten auch vor Ort überschwänglich, positive Kommentare zum Hotel und besonders den Frühstück. Dies konnten wir nur mit Kopfschütteln und der Vermutung hinnehmen, dass diese Gäste vermutlich bislang kein wirklich gutes Hotel kennen gelernt hatten…

- Gregory (10/5): Nice Hotel, Great Location with Beach and Pool - My wife and I came for a one-week visit to attend a friend's child's wedding. We booked the most modestly priced room. The room was a lovely size and had its own private patio. The room was quiet and we could not hear any neighbors. The private beach was beautiful, and it had lounges with cushions. The buffet breakfast was comparable to that of many hotels of this size, and the employees were all friendly and accommodating. The hotel had its own parking area, and I highly recommend getting a car if you wish to explore the island. The hotel had Wifi, which worked all around, including the beach. The hotel had a bar near the pool and beach, and their drinks were very reasonably priced compared to many of the other beach clubs we visited. One minor complaint is that you get a beach towel to use, but if you wish to get a fresh towel, they do charge a fee. Another comment was that there was no dresser in our room, but there was shelving space and many hangers. Compared to the prices some of our friends paid at nearby, more modern hotels, this hotel was a bargain with better amenities. I recommend staying there again at this family-owned hotel.
- Aundrea (10/5): - Fantastic, fantastic hotel and location. The hotel is a short (less than 10 min) walk to Naoussa center. It has its own small private beach across the street with super comfy sun beds. From the hotel you can walk 10 min to the water taxis and access several beautiful beaches…Montesiri and Kolybithres (both are great options on super windy days), about a 15 min boat ride. In front of the hotel is the bus that takes you to Santa Maria Beach (for less windy day), less than 15 min drive. The room was beautiful, all have sea view and our balcony was perfect. Breakfast buffet was good.

Amazing buffet breakfast. The pool was so clean and beautiful. We loved everything about it. Even compared to some of the 5 star hotels around the area, they didn’t have beach access. This was perfect location. Andi was so nice and friendly, so was the man with the man bun on the beach :)

- Helle (8/5): Great place - We stayed for 4 nights at this lovely place. The location is absolutely superb right by the beach, with great access to sun loungers and parasols and a short walk from down town Naousa with great restaurants, nightlife and shopping. The hotel is one of the smaller ones, but it has a wonderful pool area with plenty of sun loungers in both sun and shade. There's also a great pool bar with fantastic vacation-vibe music. The hotel offers parking, which is a huge plus if you plan on renting a car to explore this beautiful island. We stayed in a room with a sea view, and it was absolutely perfect. The reason this place doesn't get a 5-star rating is that clean beach towels weren't offered as needed (only for a washing fee), and the breakfast was a bit unexciting.

Showers flood everytime its used. Breakfast was terrible with minimal options. This accommodation charges for 5 star however gives 1 star service. Not worth paying the very high price per night.

Pool towels, strange concept you have to keep same one for entire stay if you want it washed it costs 2€. Breakfast very ordinary. No free drinking water, can’t put your own things in fridge . Too many weird rules . We had a good room with good views. I would not stay there again

Poolbaren, som også betjener den private stranden, har et perfekt utvalg av både drikke, iskrem og lunsjretter. Betjeningen får oss til å føle oss som hjemme. Og beliggenheten? Ikke ved stranden, men på(!) stranden. Helt perfekt. Rommene er lyse, rene og hyggelige. Vårt hadde terrasse med deilig utsikt. Aircondition på rommet - og rikelig med håndklær, såpe, shampoo etc. Vi kommer tilbake!

They provide the beach towels and chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests and there is a free breakfast buffet. The staff went above and beyond and were able to book transportation for us to and from the ferry port, and made a recommendation and reservation to an amazing restaurant in Naousa and had ATVs booked for us and delivered to the hotel. 10/10 recommend.

- Ronald (10/5): - This was a perfect place for us after the pace of Athens and Mykonos. We loved Naousa, and the hotel is right on the beachside, a perfect place to swim, sunbathe, relax! We had a lovely room with a pool and beach view. Food we ordered at the bar was tasty and fresh - salads were a highlight. The staff were welcoming, friendly and always helpful. The breakfast buffet was generous, so much to choose from incl fresh fruit and yoghurt to cooked options, eggs, lots of yummy Greek pastries… a great start to fuel up our full days. It’s a short walk over the hill to Naousa village with lovely mix of restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay here.

- Francesca (10/5): - We had such an incredible experience at Contaratos Beach Hotel! There is plenty of parking, and it is in a convenient and walkable location. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations for authentic food on the island. The pool was beautiful, and the beach was right across the street, with free sun beds and umbrellas already set up. You can have food and drinks brought right to you on the beach. The room was very spacious and clean. The air conditioning works very well, so we never felt constant humidity. This was by far, the best hotel we stayed in during our Island Hopping trip. We had a few issues with our key card not working, which caused the power to go out a few times in the room. However, the hotel staff quickly fixed the issue and we didn’t have any issues past the first day. I would highly recommend this hotel!
- Leasa (2/5): Poor Customer Service at a beautiful spot and hote - This was our 11th hotel of 15 on a 5 week across-Europe vacation. The property is beautiful with a glorious pool and beach, loungers included. However, we were truly unable to relax or enjoy our stay completely given the customer service and nickel-and-diming going on. Where went the Greek hospitality we were so happy to be welcomed with in Athens and Naxos? And the utter strangeness of food and drink rules...more on that later. *I know by reading other reviews that the owners are going to come back with an excuse-filled reply, but please read other negative reviews and you will see a common complain that can't be denied. Due to flight times to the island, we arrived at 730am. We realize check-in time and certainly didn't expect a room right away, but we did at least hope maybe to get onto a room a little early if luck went our way. They assured us at the front desk that they would get housekeeping to clean our room first and we sat by the pool. We watched other arrivals being checked into rooms early that had been cleaned before ours and by noon we really needed a break from the sun and heat. As we ha

Das Wassers des Pools ist relativ warm für mich schon heiss. Sehr nette Crew, guter Service, das Essen ist recht gut. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Let me start by saying it’s a nice property and the “staff” was great EXCEPT for the owner who sits on a perch overlooking the pool all day and bellows out rules. The second we got there he immediately made the staff tell us we could not have drinks in the pool. Understandable but I had a closed top. Next he stopped our friends kids from using diving board. Our friend was sleeping and he sent someone into the room to “close the bathroom lights”. Unacceptable. And then the ice cream incident. I took my friends daughters to the ice cream stand and opened it and looked and immediately he bellowed to the young staff member to make me close the top. We weren’t looking for more than 30 seconds. I confronted the owner and in his ARROGANT attitude immediately made anti American and Greek American (which I am). The he started saying the we had some chips while in the pool but they were actually outside. He’s very lucky that I walked away. Complete nasty individual. It was like being in a Seinfeld episode. I refused to buy anything at he bar or food after that. His loss because we were the only ones spending money at his poolside bar. The staff was wonderful and I feel bad that they have to work for such a poor leader and manager. I’ve travelled all over the world and have never been treated like that. I would go closer to the town and skip this place. The beach wasn’t even that nice. As I stated liked the property, could t stand the owner.

- Luc (8/5): Une équipe jeune et dynamique - Cette hotel à 10 minutes à pied du centre de Naoussa est idealement situé en face d une magnifique plage. La piscine est grande. L equipe est a votre ecoute et est très efficaces. Le petit déjeuner est en réalité un bon buffet dommage que l on y trouve pas du fromage local. Les serviettes de plages sont fournis et la plage est gratuite pour les gens de l hôtel. Elle est payante pour les autres mais le prix est si bas 2 euros pour un bain de soleil qu'il faut s installer tôt le matin pour pouvoir bénéficier d un transat. Un très agréable séjour

- agim (10/5): Great stay. - Great stay. Staff and accommodation were perfect. Close enough to everything to walk yet far enough that you can have a relaxing stay. Pool was amazing and beach across the street was more than adequate.
- Laurie (10/5): Amazing - This hotel was beyond our expectations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Sandy beach right out front and walking distance to the main core of Naousa where the shops and nightlife are.

This was a sweet hotel that provided the perfect environment for a much needed vacation. Would definitely recommend to others.

Hotellet er ganske slitent, og bærer preg av dårlig renhold i fellesarealene. Det er generell dårlig serviceinnstilling, og vi møtte flere som ga uttrykk for at de følte seg utrygge, fordi resepsjonspersonalet ofte "stakk innom" rommene. Det ble snakket mye om negative ting på stranden, og det som gikk igjen, ved siden av det manglende renholdet, var uvennligheten i resepsjonen og den dårlige frokosten, som kostet 10 euro per person per dag. Imidlertid fantes det hyggeligere frokoststeder i nærheten og hyggeligere hoteller også,
- Verified traveler (8/5): grazioso hotel con qualcosa da migliorare - Avevo richiesto letto matrimoniale , ho trovato due letti singoli, pulizia nella media, dovrebbero fare più attenzione e richiedere maggior tranquillità visto che gli appartamenti sono davvero attaccati. Dalle foto la casa sembra più grande, di sicuro lo stabile è davvero curato e vicino al centro, è nella parte silenziosa della zona, vicinissimo a santa maria spiaggia stupenda. 9 euro per la colazione è davvero tanto, la vista dalla camera ottima. nel complesso l'esperienza è stata davvero positiva , a parte le due criticità che ho sottolineato la struttura è bellissima.
- tracy (8/5): Beachfront Hotel - Stayed in junior suite. Quite spacious. Pool rather cold. Hot tub not hot. Decent breakfast. Best thing is the beach across the street. Public beach but hotel guests get free use of chairs and umbrellas.
