- Cornelia (5/5): - Hôtel bien situé, à env. 30 min à pied de la gare de Lyon, proche d'arrêts de métro et de la Seine. Chambres propres. Personnel disponible et accueillant, mais il ne faut pas faire de réclamations. Un bruit interne à la maison terrible, comme une machine à laver qui tourne en continu. Nous avons obtenu, après insistance et peu de bonne volonté en face, une autre chambre, au 6e étage, soi-disant de luxe alors qu'elle était plus petite. Le bruit y était beaucoup plus discret, ce qui nous a permis de dormir. Nous avons cependant apprécié le calme par rapport aux bruits de l'extérieur, notre chambre donnant sur une cour interne.

The elevator was very small so with a big suitcase only one person could fit at a time. The bathroom had a tub with just a hand held shower which I am not used to using. Everything else was very good

The towels and sheets can be changed every day, and the water was hot enough. The room is only 12 m2, so quite small for two adults, but the good location makes up for it. The elevator was also small.

There was no socket in the bathroom, not good for women who want to style their hair in the bathroom. The guy at the reception was not welcoming at all, almost felt like i was bothering him trying to check in.

Debemos agradecer que tambien tuvieran servicio de guardaequipaje para poder aprovechar el último día sin tener que pasear con ellas.

- Bram560 (10/5): Lovely hotel in a perfect location - We loved Hotel Minerve. It's in a fantastic location in the Latin Quarter, on the Rive Gauche, with lots of restaurants, cafés, and even a decent grocery store with lots of ready-made meals available. It is an easy walk to the Seine, Île de la Cité and Notre Dame, and all the tour boat companies have stops on that stretch of the river. The Hotel itself is pristine, the staff are very friendly and very patient with my attempts to speak French, even though they all spoke English. The room is small by North American standards, but larger than we had expected. Our room was on the first floor (we would call that the second floor in Canada), and we had a small outside patio with a table and two chairs, which was very nice. The patio was completely enclosed by buildings, so no issues with safety. The queen-size bed was very comfortable, with lots of pillows and extra blankets and pillows in the closet/wardrobe, and we enjoyed the period look of the room, complete with some nice paintings and lovely period furniture. The only issue we had was that there was no chest of drawers in the room, which would have been nice. There was a kettle with coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the room, and a machine that made excellent coffee for 1 Euro in the lobby. I'm not sure why the hotel is only rated 3 stars, maybe because it doesn’t have a full restaurant. It does serve a buffet style breakfast, with the usual pastries and warm dishes in the mornings, which looked excellent. We didn’t do the breakfast, but chose instead to walk to our morning destinations and pick up something light on the way. We highly recommend the Hotel Minerve.

- Viktor (10/5): Рекомендую оставлять в номерах обувную ложку и банные халаты. - Расположение очень удобное. В номерах чисто. Нам достался самый большой номер в отеле, за что огромное спасибо. Отель находится в историческом здании. Персонал отеля вежливый и доброжелательный. Есть возможность оставить багаж после выезда. Отсутствие одноразовых тапочек и ложки для обуви и банных халатов.
