• Simone (7/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt - Das gemütlich eingerichtete Stadthotel liegt sehr zentral am Beginn der Fußgängerzone und unmittelbar am schönen Kurpark und trotzdem ist es dort sehr ruhig. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, ich erhielt mit meiner Hündin eines der Hundezimmer, es war größer als gebucht, ohne Mehrpreis. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Die Parkplätze sind kostenlos.

• van ginkel (6/5): - Het bed was uitstekend en het personeel erg vriendelijk. Daar valt niks op aan te merken. Ontbijt was goed maar yoghurt zou ik niet zo snel nemen. Zag er niet zo lekker uit. Badkamer erg verouderd met zwarte kitranden. Geen faciliteiten voor koffie of thee op de kamer

• Denise (3/5): Ich würde das Hotel nicht nochmal buchen. - Die Lage Die Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Am 4. Tag bekam ich erst auf Nachfrage frische Handtücher. Im Bad fehlte der Hygieneeimer, die Zahnputzgläser waren nicht sauber.

• Anke (4/5): Wir werden dort nicht wieder buchen. Schade - Für eine Nacht geht’s. Enttäuschend! Die Haupteingangstür klemmte so dass man meinte es sei geschlossen. Das Personal wirkte gelangweilt. Die Rezeption und das Treppenhaus waren schmuddelig und der Teppich ist abgelaufen und sehr staubig.Es war nicht ansprechend, zuviel Deko (Staubfänger) Kein Aufzug für Gehbehinderte.

• Anne (8/5): Situé en zone piétonne, chambres simples mais aménagées avec amour - Très bien situé, facile d’accès, un Parking privé, de belles chambres, simples mais bien aménagées et très propres. Les petits plus, la déco avec les horloges de plein de pays, les aquariums, l’armoire avec les pierres précieuses, des jeux de société…..il y a de l’attention L’acoustique n’était pas top, on entendait les voisins tousser et parler, c’est un vieux hôtel avec son charme de vieux hôtel

Bad ist renovierungsbedürftig , der Einstieg 30 cm hoch. Fensehapparat im Zimmer so klein wie ein Laptop. Blick aus den Fenster direkt auf ein altes Flachdach auf dem Zigarettenkippen liegen. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistunfs-Verhältnis nicht. Zudem kostet das Frühstück 15 Euro extra.

• Martin (10/5): - Location in a quiet street just off the motorway. Excellent continental breakfast. Large choice of food. Would definitely be ony list of going to visit the Mohne Dam. Make sure you pay for parking especially motorcycles Restaurant was closed for some reason. However, there was an excellent little restaurant a couple of minutes walk and the burger was absolutely amazing. Certainly no McDonald's
• 1andi1 (10/5): Charming Hotel - A lovely family run hotel, being authentically renovated at the time of my stay to have the Old/New feel celebrating the buildings history. It's located within 5 mins walk of the train station and at the start of the main shopping area. I was warmly welcomed and looked after during my stay, local good restaurants were recommended and local points of interest too. There's complimentary coffee available at reception. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Bed super comfy. Wifi was good with stable and reliable connection. A very good buffet style traditional breakfast and they will accommodate dietary requests. Yes the building looks old and dated but that's because it is old yet once inside its really very charming. I would stay here again.

• Andrea (2/5): - Haben keinen hohen Komfort erwartet, können mit sehr wenig Schnick Schnack auskommen. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, zwar irgendwie gereinigt aber es lagen überall tote Fliegen. Es hat den Anschein, dass eine gut gemeinte Renovierung nicht geglückt sei. Unser Zimmer steht im Angebot als „ pure Entspannung“, ich war so entspannt, dass in kompletter Kleidung geschlafen habe. Im Umkreis war kein anderes Zimmer im Angebot, da im Nachbarort ein großes Volksfest stattgefunden hat, sonst hätten wir direkt wieder ausgecheckt. Es gab am 1. Tag kein warmes Wasser, sodass man auch am Morgen seiner Körperpflege nicht in normaler Art nachkommen konnte. Dieser Mangel wurde am 2. Tag behoben. Alles gut gemeint, aber irgendwie gescheitert. An und für sich waren die Gastgeber nicht unfreundlich aber alles in allem wirkten alle mit diesem Hotel überfordert.

• Joerg (10/5): - wir waren nur Nachts im Hotel. Am ersten Tag waren wir zu einer Beerdigung in Kirchhellen.Am zweiten zum Besuch im Altenheim in Welver Da hatten wir wenig Zeit die Gegend kennen zu lernen.Wir werden auf alle Fälle noch mal zu diesem Hotel fahren um Uhrlaub zu machen.

• Joanp87 (1/5): Avoid at all costs - The staff was friendly and helpful. They didn't have enough guests to open the buffet, so they brought breakfast to our table. The hotel is completely rundown and barely functional. The whole building stinks, and the hallway is full of old furniture, which gives it a creepy vibe. The bathroom was horrible: dirty, and there was no soap in the shower!

• Harald (8/5): - Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was uns in Bezug auf das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Aktuell wird es „im Betrieb“ renoviert (was aber zu den Abend- und Nachtzeiten in keiner Weise zu Störungen führte). Es ist keine Luxusunterkunft, aber eine, die unseren Bedürfnissen voll entsprochen hat. Von daher: gerne wieder.

Con pochi dettagli in più il giudizio era da 5 stelle ma l'assenza totale del set di cortesia in bagno (nemmeno la saponetta) il tubo del telefono doccia vetusto e il termo pieno di ruggine (a contrasto con la stanza putturata a nuovo e con uno splendido murales floreale) mi fanno fermare a 4. Ottima e abbondante la colazione tipica tedesca (molto salato ma tanti prodotti tipici); il poco dolce però ottimo. Si rimane soddisfatti. Posizione a 3 minuti a piedi dalla ferrovia che con RB59 in 40 min. ti porta a Dortmund. Werl pasese carinissimo.

Used to be a regular visitor now really shocked by its dilapidated and dirty condition. Floor not hoovered large bits of dirt on the floor , shower didnt work
