Mycket bra incheckning då receptionisten demonstrerade rummets "teknik" (musik, värme alt a/c). Jag bodde ensam med en king size säng, vilket fungerade utmärkt, men skulle inte uppskatta det rummet för 2 personer pga badrummets enkla skjutdörr.

- Peter (2/5): Overpriced, Cramped, and Poorly Maintained - The room was extremely small—there wasn’t even enough space to move around. I had booked and paid for a double room for two people, but they told me that since I was alone, they gave me a single room instead. I didn’t argue, but it’s like ordering a 700g steak and being served a 400g one because you’re dining solo—even though the bill still reflects 700g. The body wash bottle in the shower was empty, and the drain was clogged, leaving me with a brief, soapless shower this morning. Let’s just say I hope you’re not sitting next to me during today’s flight. The overall condition of the building is quite worn down, and at €120 a night, you can easily find much better accommodations. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The standout recommendation however, would be the super helpful staff that are friendly and available to make your stay a welcome and memorable one. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

- Pascal (10/5): - Le positionnement est vraiment parfait. Juste au coin de la rue de la place St-George. Le service à la clientèle de Carla et Yohann a été plus qu'excellent. Carla nous a donné de superbes rérérences de visites et restos avec sourire. Si vous avez bcp de bagages, tenir compte qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur et que l'hôtel comporte 4 étages. Mais le personnel est aidant pour monter les bagages. Notre chambre ne comportait pas de douche. Un bain avec douche téléphone. Comme sur les photos. Pour nous c'était bien correct, mais à tenir compte pour ceux pour qui la douche est une neccessité. Petit déjeuner maison à considérer avec yogourt maison et jus d'orange frais pressé. Secteur de la ville très propre. 5 à 10 min de marche de toutes les attractions importantes du centre-ville. Merci

- Peter (8/5): Hotel des Arts, August 22 - The hotel has very helpful staff, a great vibe, tastefully decorated rooms, excellent central location, a lovely bed and parking close by. However, due to the lack of a lift, very noisy a/c and badly fitted curtains and no shower curtain (style over substance), l‘ll only rate it 7 out of 10. We were in the sculpture room.

- Angela (10/5): Great hotel! - The hotel is in an ideal location...walking distance to stores, restaurants and churches. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very helpful and had our cab on time for our departure. Breakfast is provided if wanted, but a bit expensive....we are not big breakfast eaters and we had a lot of waste as they do give a lot of bread products. It is brought right to the room and at the time you ask for it, which is a nice advantage. We were an older couple..70's...in good shape...beware there are no elevators and you must climb stairs. There is also a step up into the bathroom and 2 steps into the shower, so would not recommend this hotel for anyone with mobility issues. For us, it was great and we would highly recommend for anyone that wants to be in the center of Toulouse. Room looks exactly as pictured.

Perfectly placed to explore the city, with a lovely little square (Place St Georges) 2 mins round the corner for dinner and/or breakfast (we did both). Pensez bien à vous renseigner sur la disponibilité de place sur le parking, secteur piéton et un peu galère pour accéder en voiture. Les parking couverts alentours sont excessivement chers....26€ pour plus de 12heures!!!

Pictures misleading - great location, nice bed and good shower. Could do with some maintenance work. Broken tiles in bathroom, lights not working, not 24hr reception service a bit like staying in a house. Overall not bad but pricey for what you get.

- Gene (10/5): Great Compromise Hotel - Great hotel value for the price. Excellent staff support. Bed was clean and comfortable. Shower was open to the rest of the bathroom without curtains, glass or other enclosure, so water ended up splashing everywhere; didn't bother us, but may be inconvenient for some. Breakfast is very good, but can lack enough variety if staying more than a few days. The price at €9 per person is reasonable. the hotel is near Lake Bordeaux, so you can walk or run on pathways there. Location is good for visiting the countryside with a car as well as the city using the nearby tram. Near a mall and some shopping by car. Tram takes 20 minutes to get to he city center. Very little in the way of restaurants within walking distance. You generally need to take transport to everything, but it's a good compromise location for both city and countryside visits.
- Kris (10/5): Charming hotel with a wonderful staff - I stayed at the Hôtel des Arts during my recent trip to Toulouse. I spent 3.5 days in Toulouse, walking around the city, taking boat tours and visiting museums. I recommend this hotel highly for anyone who is looking for an affordable place to stay in the city. The location is a perfect: around the corner from the wonderful Museum de Agustine and a small square full of terrific cafes, it's also a pleasant 10 minute walk from shopping, the metro and the tourist center. My single room was a bit small -- what the French call a piede a tier -- but it was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. There were lots of charming little touches, like a carafe of fresh water always set out for guests, a massage chair (!) for tired shoulders, and a collection of art books for guests to look through. But the biggest draw here is the staff, they are friendly, speak really good English and ready to help in any way possoble. When my bank in NYC canceled my card, the staff members really leaned in to help me solve the problem. Their concern and willingness to help meant everything during a really stressful situation.

What I got was a beautifully renovated hotel in the heart of Toulouse, two easy blocks from the metro.
