- Anne (10/5): Easy beach access with an amazing ocean view - Our family was delighted with our beachy cottage-like accommodations. Clean, charming with a beautiful view of the ocean! A walk across the street to the beach was a highlight! The beach was lovely. Staff was friendly. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

- Amy (6/5): - Great that it was right across the street from Craigville beach, and that's what you're paying $300 a night for. But that's where it ends. Rooms were cute, but basic. Air conditioner was obnoxiously loud. Front desk closes at 7pm, so if you need a microwave or ice, you have to do it before then. There's only 2 restaurants that are walkable, and they close at 6 or 7, and are super overpriced. Not worth the money.

- Mark (10/5): Ocean View Motel Reviewed - This was a great place to spend some much needed time away. Since it was off-season it was very quiet and most of the seasonal stuff was closed. Accommodations were excellent and staff connected with us both before check in and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed during our visit. The views are spectacular and the beach was beautiful. Loved our time there and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and sunrises. 5 stars.

- Mark (10/5): The Perfect Cape Cod Beach Hotel - The Ocean View is a picturesque beachside hotel that has that essential Cape Cod charm. I stayed in the Osterville room which fabulous views of the beach and was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, mini fridge, and new bath. The best part of my stay was the service. I unfortunately lost my key while out and the management service met me at my room at 10PM with a back up key. Much appreciated!

- Joseph (8/5): A great location! - The best part of The Ocean View is that it is right across the street from the ocean.That is why we stayed there. If I were to stay at this motel again,I would want to get one of the rooms with a balcony that looks right at the ocean view, in the front of the building. We had a room with a balcony on the side of the building and we did have an ocean view but it was not as good a view as the front was. They were still not offering cleaning service at the motel so the room did not get cleaned while we were there, but we did have a phone number to call if we needed anything. We called because the TV wasn't working at first and someone came to fix it, and we also called to have garbage picked up at some point.They responded very quickly. It would have been most helpful to have a microwave in the room. There was a small refrigerator and that was somewhat helpful, but we had no way to heat up leftovers from our dinners out and that would have been nice. I would describe the room as basic, clean, and adequate - 2 queen beds, a table and two chairs, a nightstand between the beds...... the TV was small and the picture quality was not great.The bathroom was small and tight - again, adequate. So, it really depends on what you're looking for - if you want a luxurious room with all the amenities, you won't get that here. But,if you want a clean, adequate room where you can walk across the street, across a parking lot, and then be on the beach, this is it. You can't beat the location!!

We were the only guests, so she upgraded our room, offered beech chairs, towels, water and ice. She even rinsed the dreaded pollen off of my car! Great experience over all. We will definitely go again!
- Julie (6/5): - The only good thing of your motel is that it is on the beach for our 90 year old Dad who was with us. Our own home was damaged and in repair; there were bugs all over the rugs near the windows and all over the sink. The beds were comfortable, the deck was amazing. The pool was enjoyable at CI...were told NO to go to your CI for coffee/and..?? Shocking....Sorry.. we won't be back

- Linda (10/5): Great ocean view room at a great price. - We stayed at the Ocean View because we had a wedding in Harwich. It was exactly what I was hoping for. Beautiful beach view and because it was off season, it was very quiet and the beach was beautiful. Would definitely stay there again!

- pauline (10/5): LOVE THE OCEAN VIEW - This was our first time at the Ocean View, but it won't be our last. We loved everything, the fact that there we're only 8 rooms appealed to us. Right across from Craigville Beach was awesome. There are two small eating establishments right next door which we tried and enjoyed the food. They had the best sausage, cheese and egg sandwiches, and also great fried dough. All the people we met were very friendly and returning patrons. We look forward to returning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beach, beach & beach. - Do you want to be close to Craigsville Beach? Then book here. It's as close as you can get. Seriously, like 10 feet to the beach. My wife asked for me to take her to Cape Cod for 5 years. I booked this hotel and she was happy. Life's good.

- Verified traveler (2/5): If you want to RUIN your VACATION, Look for JENINE - We always have a fun vacation at Cape Cod...we stay either at Graigville Beach Inn or here at The Ocean View, which are in same management. I hate to rate it this bad, but the most recent stay ruin everything how we appreciate this Hotel. And it took one person to turn love into HATE staying in this place. We book and stay in The Ocean View, the people in the reception is very accommodating, and everything went well even they never able to give us the Ocean View for 2nd night of our stay, their friendliness makes us appreciate New England character...my kids born and raise in New England and living in NJ, getting back to Cape Cod is like Home. However on our last day, when we are about to CHECK OUT, a person name JENINE (remember this name, if you want to ruin your vacation make sure she is working during your stay), her RUDENESS showed to us, as their guests. All our bags are already in the vehicle, and there like 2-3 more bags to put in the vehicle. We are cooling our car and my wife decided to feed my 6 months old son so we stay in the room, this lady tried to get us out of the room and saying that we will be charge for half day for over staying an hour. I already inform her that we are leaving we just need to organize our remaining stuff while our baby is being breast fed.This UNHOSPITABLE STAFF slammed the cleaning materials in our room and saying that we have to leave. My mother in law who worked in Human Resource Dept stated how can she have the job with her attitude
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice area. Clean beach that was very quiet. Top Pillow with sham on the bed was dirty with a drool spot when we arrived. Ceiling had a small water damage spot on it. Other than these negative things it was a very good stay. Staff very pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.
