• 399williamm (10/5): Quilting Retreat - Rented a Double queen suite so we could have a quilting retreat. It worked perfectly and allowed us to set up two sewing machines. We had a great time in Duluth.
• Linda (10/5): I loved my stay there. This La Quinta location really was the best one that I’ve ever been to. This location far exceede - The fire pit outside and the swimming pool Inside. I didn’t know why they had extra steal doors for the elevators.

Powdered eggs and stale potatoes weren’t impressive the saving was that you could make your own waffles. Breakfast quality on the hot food. Lots of noise from the people above us very late at night. Sounded like someone was going to fall through on top of us.

• Gregory (3/5): Horrible- basic services could not be met and the response was indifference. - TV didn't work. It was a Saturday and after a long day, I had hoped to relax and watch the last of the college football games. They couldn't fix it. For some reasons, the rate was double the usual rate and then to not having something basic work was ridiculous. I was given the card of the manager to talk to her in the morning, but she didn't come in.(Sunday). I emailed her and never got a response. Apparently the decision was just to ignore it.

We stayed here on our way up to our vacation spot and we stayed here on our way back. We absolutely love the staff and the breakfast was excellent and coffee at any time was great.

Stopped by early to make sure we had a 1st floor room as we wouldn't be back until 9-10pm. Told me to precheck but didn't know if I go to wyndam's La quinta's site or booking.com. She said she would make a note. get there at 9pm -no available 1st floor room. Prices are too high. breakfast is lousy, I took a banana. They need to get some real scrambled eggs.

Since only walls able to sleep a couple hours each night due to noise - Clean hotel Our room was at end of hallway next to outside door and that door was opening and slamming shut continuously from 10pm until around 3am making it very hard to sleep. Makes me thinks something illegal was possibly going on.

• michelle (6/5): It was a decent hotel, but I've stayed at better hotels that cost less. - The location was quiet but convenient to get to. The room was clean. Some staff were really good! The pool was a good temperature for the kids to swim, and the hot tub was in a prime location to watch the kids while soaking. They also had a bathroom right outside of the pool area so kids could conveniently go to the bathroom. Some staff were not that pleasant and took a long time to complete a task. The waffle maker was terrible and caused lots of frustration for guests. The pancake maker kept breaking or running out and guests needed to wait a long time to get desired items. Our first morning there was fruit and a few yogurt available along with lots of carb options and eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. By the second morning there was no fruit or yogurt available for the rest of our stay. (We stayed for 5 nights) Each time we used the pool we had to request for the pool towels to be replenished as there were none available.
• Anna (1/5): Don’t do it!! - Staff was nice enough and the breakfast was good. The price was outrageous! Almost double the price of every other LaQuinta we have stayed in. Room not very clean, pillows were awful, beds weren’t comfortable. We opened the window for some fresh air and the smell of pot from someone smoking outside inundated the room. People going in and out all hours of the night. Would never stay there again.

It made it feel like it was out of the way a bit but it was right by everything. The hall floor was dirty on my floor. The bathtub was dirty. It had someone's black hair in it. The coffee/hot water for tea maker was broken in the lobby. Although it appeared that the breakfast was good and it smelled good. It didn't taste that good.

Breakfast was awesome! The price was just a tad high for a Sunday night, however, it was beautiful out, so there was a bunch if people.

The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the rooms overall. The bathroom tub was not very clean, which was disappointing. The walls are also very thin, and you can easily hear other guests, which made it noisy at times. Overall, it was a convenient stay with friendly staff, but some cleanliness and noise issues affected the experience.

I had some very noisy neighbors. I feel children should be on first floor because they run and stop on people’s ceiling otherwise.

Tried again this year due to location… won’t try again. - Location The pool was too cold to swim and or enjoy, the hot tub was dirty, flake of paint and dirt were coming up in the jets and bubbles, the breakfast was not good. Cold sausages, and gator tots…ran out of coffee until I told someone. Not very many choices to choose from for breakfast. Beds were hard and the sheets were stained.
