- Ryan (4/5): Not a 5 star hotel - Nice location. Close to El Tunco. This is NOT a 5 star resort in any sense. Drive way/ entrance to hotel is atrocious. Not paved, super tight turns and trash everywhere. This is common in El Salvador but you’d expect a hotel would clean their respective area to made the entrance appealing. Actual hotel grounds are pretty and decently well-maintained. Pool side service was slow. Beers were not very cold and mixed drinks were terrible. Pool boy woke me up at 9:30pm to close a pool tab (from 8 hours earlier) instead of charging it to the room (which I assumed was the case like at every other resort) or addressing it with me in the morning like an actual 5 star hotel would. Hot water didn’t work in room. Had to take cold showers until maintenance could fix. Drain also clogged. This was one of suites 30 Day pass people came to hotel our last day - there were zero open sun beds or chairs for people staying at the hotel

- Saul Heriberto (6/5): - Desayuno estuvo bien Estuvimos en el cuarto las sirena , habíamos pedido una cama King y nos dieron ese cuarto que tiene dos camas , la refri dejó de enfriar al siguiente día y el baño estaba todo mojado cuando nos lo entregaron, la verdad que el servicio de Pacheco hizo que nuestra estadía no fuera tan fea , nos íbamos el miércoles y desde la mañana empezaron hacer ruido afuera del cuarto porque unos trabajadores empezaron hacer reparaciones y no nos dieron la privacidad que necesitábamos . La habitación si estaba fea pero por todo lo demás estuvo bien

We ordered coffe and juice with our breakfast and I had to Ask 3 times to bring the coffee. We finished eating breakfast and the drinks didn’t get served. I think it will be good if you add more staff in the morning.

Le falta detalles de limpieza, mantenimiento y productos de baño como pañuelos, toallas de cara, crema, artículos de higiene. Los cócteles tienen mucho aun por aprender. También deberían dar acceso incluido al sauna a los huéspedes, esto sería un gran plus para el hotel.

I didn’t like the fact that the staff did not respect my family’s privacy and decided to enter one of our room pack it up and move us to a different room without notification.The lack of professionalism was horrible. - nathaly (7/5): I would stay here again - the location is great. This place has come along way from when I first came maybe 6+ years ago. the food is great as well. The staff is friendly and the property gardens are beautiful The property pool areas need to be a little more maintained. The hotel reception had made a couple of mistakes. I was given the wrong room BUT they did end up being able to give me the room I had originally booked later on in the day because there was a cancellation. They also thought I booked a massage although I had actually booked a facial. All that to say that they could probably just do a better job getting a little organized.

No entiendo por que las camas en la habitación que estuve estan ubicadas frente a la puerta y al A/C...el aire le pega a uno en la cabeza/cara todo el tiempo y el cuarto si está diseñado para poner las camas como debe ser ..por que lo hicieron al reves????

- Mark (9/5): Customer service above and beyond - Ok I booked through Booking.com and got the opposite of the ocean view I was expecting. Admittedly the site just said a room with a balcony, so my bad I guess. Anyway even though they were full the manager Horacio moved heaven and earth to somehow get us into an ocean view room for 2 of our 4 night stay, saving my marriage and did I say no extra charge? I loved being able to step out of my room in the am for a dip in the body temperature pool to start my day, and the same thing at night to finish my day, all to the sound of the roaring pacific ocean. I was working on a book so I want looking for a lot of action rest of the time. Did I mention the friendly staff? As the gardner Alexander aobut the medicinal plantsa of El Salvador. Nothing really. I do hate rap music being piped in restaurants but it seems ubiquitious throughout Latin America. I must be getting old.

They accommodated us to a different room after we reported a faulty light and a leak in the bathroom . They were very prompt with repairs The staff was a bit short staffed at the restaurant later in the day so for dinner we just did room service . The rooms service was outstanding very quick and the food was delicious . We ordered a mar y Tierra (beef and shrimp ) at around 9:30 pm and they made it happen promptly ! Thr best form of communication was through the QR code to their Whats app . The views here are amazing! You won’t regret the quiet and cozy location .

The way to get there is rough and parking spaces are small. The service for food is slow. Even the waiters get frustrated with wait times. It took one day at least 45 mins to get our food. The manager just stands there and directs the waiters to who needs help, instead of initiating a greeting with the guest and trying to get beverages before the food arrives would be at least the very minimum to do to help your employees who are working hard.

The pools (including the infinity) were very pretty. The property could use a facelift and some upgrades. The lighting in our sea view suite was very dim. The hot tubs didn’t seem to heat up. The one restaurant shut down a bit early (I think 9 pm on a Friday)

- Sandra (10/5): Great! - Hotel Farallones was fantastic. It was about a 4 minute car ride from El Tunco. The location is stunning and the service was great. It also felt very safe with 24 hour security at the gate. We rented a car, so it was nice to come and go when we pleased.
- Joel (10/5): - This was my third time visiting this hotel. The overall set up and maintenance of the property is good. The staff at the front has always been friendly. The staff working the bar/ restaurant could be better. I stayed two nights and the bartender the first night was amazing! He came by the pool, asked us if we wanted drinks. He would stop by often to see if needed additional drinks or other services. The second night was not that good, we spend over an hour by the second pool and not once did anyone come by asking us if wanted to order drinks or food. This could all be due to staffing levels, however attention details makes people want to comeback. There is no clear signs that I could see pointing us in the direction of where the gym was located.
- JENNY (8/5): - Great customer service, beautiful view from the hotel, its on a cliff, you can see how the waves hit on the rocks...unfortunately there's no beach at this time to swim at front of the hotel due to the high waves the ocean have been form since February and also the salt water swimming pool is closed and this is the same with all the hotels the are located on the cliffs, but they have 3 nice swimming pools in the resort. I stayed in a room with jacuzzi but is with cold water...breakfast buffet is not included and cost $14.95 per person, which I didn't included.

He was incredibly courteous and ensured I felt comfortable throughout my stay. His friendly attitude made me feel like a valued guest. • Edwin (Bar): Edwin was fantastic at the bar! He crafted some of the best cocktails I’ve had, and his recommendations were spot on. His friendly conversation and great service made my time at the bar even more enjoyable.
