• Bhavna (1/5): THIS PROPERTY IS FALSELY ADVERTISED. DON'T BOOK HERE. - We didn't stay there. We emailed booking.com for a refund. And the hotel, too. No one responded. We checked out in 1/2 an hour, we never stayed here. The owners got paid twice. It is advertised as a beachfront property, it isn't one. It's a bayfront property. No "garden view" or "pool view". The balcony overlooks their driveway. The corridor overlooks the neighbouring block of land that's empty and unmaintained. They say that there are no elevators, but nowhere does it mention that our booking will be on the top floor, making it hard for my guest to climb stairs and access the room. No mention on the portal about the fact that it's a timeshared property - so members get priority - nicer rooms, lower floors. Cartons of water left unattended, maintenance work in progress, making it look like an unfinished construction site. (I have videos for everything). When we asked to have our room changed, we were asked to pay double for a "suite". By then, we already organised to check out. THEN they're like, "We'll give you a special price." But they never gave us the actual quoted price. We checked out to go to a different property owned by the same people. So basically, the same people got paid twice. We got scammed. We requested refunds, the hotel referred us to booking.com. Booking.com did not even receive an acknowledgement of the email from booking.com, let alone the hotel. They caused us much distress - emotional, mental and financial on what was supposed to be a holiday. I'm never booking through this website and never booking this property either.

I also am not a huge fan of the balcony because there’s quite a big gap between the balcony barrier so a young child can try to fit through it, making it a hazard.

Room was situated on level 3 so it was a struggle carrying suitcases up and down Bed linen was stained Breakfast option was dismal. I only had coffee but that was also burnt badly

The shuttle bus between the two resorts is great, they should advertise the options better, you wouldn't know you can go to other resort and charge to account. The options for water sports are all at other resort, should advertise it. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms because your on the bay side. It would be better to have a preventative in the rooms for guests.

Would love to see the resort invest in cleaning and widening up the driveway to the resort, maybe share the cost with Oakwood????? Share some profits with the locals by tidying up the place surrounding the resort.

The shuttle to the other side of the peninsula was frequent and handy to get to restaurants The tap water smelled terrible, which isn't great when you need to shower or flush the toilet. My block didn't have a lift, so definitely say something when you book if that's an issue for you.

• Tracey (10/5): Fabulous and the staff are so caring would highly appreciate for a stay in Nusa Dua - We came with a group of friends to celebrate a 60th birthday and it was amazing with fire works cocktails and great food The staff were very accommodating to everyone’s needs the only thing that was an issue was the lane way out to the main road it is very busy and not the greatest to walk on to and from and quite dirty I know this is probably not part of the property but an easier way out to the main road would be a plus we did use the shuttle to the other beach resort a couple of times

I was also surprised to see self catering facilities in the room. Wish we could have stayed longer to make the most of what was available. The meals we ordered were average. Karaoke Friday night while trying to eat dinner was a bit hard to take.

Die anderen Gäste waren Graurücken mit geschmacklosen Tatoos und ab 11 Uhr mit der Flasche in der Hand. Der Pool ist sehr gut und kühl. Das nahe Schwesterresort hat eine bessere Lage mit besserem Strand. Transport zwischen den Resorts ist sehr gut.

I wanted quiet relaxation so this was perfect for me, but some people complained it was "too slow". The sister property on the beach side offers more action. A short 10 minute walk to a shopping street provides some off-property choices. Wine, soft drinks and snacks at a tiny shop just off the property. The only down side is that, because it's on the bay side, there is no sound of surf and no long beach walks. Otherwise, a great place.

• Karen (8/5): We will be back. - We loved our stay here although I would not recommend a studio Unit. Not sure if just our unit but it was not sound proof and we were woken every night by noise from next unit. There was an interconnecting door and this where the noise came from. Other than this we thought the complex was lovely. The pools were fantastic and because there are so Many were never overcrowded. Food at restaurant was always very nice. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off by the entrance to Peninsula Bay Resort, it is beautiful once you are down there. We will come back but stay in a one bedroom appartment. They are very spacious with good size balconies or patio where you sit and watch the amazing sunsets. There are lots of nice eateries close by and most of them have free pickup and drop off service.

• Phil (10/5): Awesome Bali resort - A. beatiful place to stay, large spread out grounds, large room & balcony, excellent pools. Friendly staff & great breakfast. The area is a 30 minute drive from the main tourist beaches & shopping area, but this area is not noisy or crowded & it is easy to hire a scooter or get a cheap taxi to get around the area. Just down the road on the other side of the peninsular, is all the beach activities, jet skis, para sailing, banana boat rides etc. and plenty of tourist shops within a 5 minute walk.

The staff were definitely what made my stay amazing last time.. can't fault the resorts picture perfect look.. just the staff this time seemed sad.
• Nik (10/5): No need to leave the resort - The hotel staff were so friendly. There was something organised by the staff each night, such as a movie night, balinese dancers, Indonesian cooking, karoke night and more. The food was delicious and it was in big portions. The pool was clean and the swim up bar was always attended by staff. The Wifi connection was really good. I had an hour full body massage for roughly $8 Australian Dollars and it was the best massage I have ever had. There was also a shuttle bus which drove to and from the Peninsula Beach Resort, which was great to mix things up. With the amount of activities organised there was no real need to leave the resort and spend money (other than on food or drinks). This resort would be great for families.

• MorningMag (4/5): - Being a member of the sister resort, I knew exactly what I was coming to - as far as it is a timeshare property and not a hotel. Milkshake lane as we call it hasn't changed and the entrance to Peninsula Bay is both under whelming. Reception has opened since last I was there - beautiful, but being on the western side of Tanjung Benoa, no breeze as Peninsula Beach has and no AC made it very hot. As I was sharing with a friend, we decided to upgrade from a Studio to a 1 Bedroom- 1st floor room with huge master suite walkthrough bathroom/dressing room, kitchenette with full fridge and large comfortable lounge (just as well as that's where I got to sleep) with TV and then out to the balcony. TV reception was poor to say the least, most of the English speaking channels we distorted. The free wifi worked great for the 1st week, then 5 days of nothing and no communication from management as to what was happening-great when trying to run a business whilst away. F&B - breakfast nothing special but all that you need, lunch around the huge pool standard and as you would expect, dinner over priced and sub standard - after eating in once we chose to eat out every other night. Swim up bar is great, but too often spoilt by kids splashing about at the bar. There are 5 pools in all but children only seem interested in the swim up bar. Also a great place to met new f I describe it as a beautiful book with nothing inside - it does not have the soul, heart and warmth of Peninsula Beach.
