- Martijn (2/5): Geen aanrader. - De ligging van het hotel is goed. De kamers zijn ruim en schoon. De douche is goed. Erg gehorige kamers, je kon in je kamer gesprekken van mensen horen die in andere kamers zaten, of in het restaurant. De bar was niet open, toen we daar gingen kijken werden we weggestuurd. In het restaurant was de helft van de kaart niet beschikbaar. En drongen ze aan op het buffet. Het eten wat je wel van de kaart kon bestellen, in ons geval een pizza en een kipburger duurde meer van 45 minuten om klaar te maken terwijl wij op dat moment de enige in het restaurant waren. Ontbijt zat er niet bij en moet je kopen voor 8 dollar per persoon. Dit was ook niet heel bijzonder Wij hebben uiteindelijk 1 nacht van de 2 kunnen cancelen. En zaten daarna in een 5 sterren hotel, goedkoper, incl ontbijt, zwembad, spa en een betere ligging.

He was the one who knew English 👍👍 Everything was good! Would expect the food for vegetarian people like us which not knowing was there!

- Jonathan Mark (6/5): Not quite seventh heaven! - Staff were helpful when the first roon we had smelt of mould. Moved us to a room that was better. First room had a musty smell and there was no hot water in the second room. It took them an hour and a number of visits to reception before it was sorted.

- Quint (1/5): the manager wasn't very nice - the location was amazing They charged us for playing pool, but told us when we where already playing. The man in the yellow polo shirt, we think he was the manager, wasn't very friendly and made it feel like he wanted us to leave. So we cut the evening short. We were the only ones in the hotel so you would expect that they would want us to stay as long as possible. Breakfast, the same manager took our order and forgot half of the order and the food was cold. The rest of the staff was friendly.

The hospitality and warmth of the staff was very good and reflected the warm hospitality of Sri Lanka. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable. The breakfast at a point was monotonous. A bit more variation would enhance the morning breakfast time.

They are rude in behaviours . The reception is very very poor and not knowledgeable and consume valuable time during check in as well as check out which I don’t like . They do not have pleasant approach to customer and very rigid and not practical . Providing good room is not sufficient rather they should provide all proper information .

It was good to have a restaurant in the hotel as it is situated a little out of town. The room was very large and the bed good. Noise from the room next door and people scraping heavy chairs.

- Jeyne (5/5): Simple and not again - We arrived dark, the place was simple and ok. We freshen up and went for dinner (at location) OK here goes, it was just 1 night. Dinner was so bad. Meat was frozen and deforested using microwave. It was so bad. B'fast was passable. Would I stay there again, I think not. However it was just one night and early start to train station.

- Kiryl (9/5): Superb - The cleanliness, the location. Room is nice. The room and the hotel doesn't have heating system/heaters by default. They provided the heater by request for additional charge, but the heater quality was pretty poor and I had to use my own socket adapter.
- Satbir (8/5): Hill side location with good view - Breakfast is served in the room upon request (This is the better option). Choice of Sri Lankan or Western menu, slight change on daily basis. Located in a quiet neighbourhood among a few other hotels. Some amenities have wear and tear, owners need to take note and replace them on time. Towels have seen better days, although clean.

- Abdulla (8/5): not satisfied - Location, view, quietness, easy access to the hotel, close to Nuwara Eliya Lake, the town center, restaurants and cafes. The hotel manager was a helpful and kind man, he was keen to provide the best possible services to the guests. Breakfast, the noise from the guests in the rest of hotel rooms, the unprofessionalism of service staff in providing services, calling the guest in the room late at night to ask about type of breakfast he wants to have next day, the surprise is that you do not find anything ready of what you requested, the laundry service is bad and expensive, washing is done with water only without useing any detergents, some clothes are returned dirty.

During breakfast they disturb the clinking of cutlery, which they wash and dry in the same room as breakfast. Choose a room with a balcony only, rooms without a balcony have high windows with an unpleasant view.

Staff is very friendly and they are very kind to accommodate our visit with professional way. Rooms are very spacious, clean and bed are amazingly comfortable. We had a great night there. We got the western breakfast but they could improve on the menu a little bit. Food was fantastic but they could improve on the quality of the food. scrambled eggs were bit watery and they only provided eggs, 2 sausages, fried tomato and fresh slice of bread. They could add a toasted slice of bread with the scrambled eggs and add bacon as well. They acted immediately for our request which was great. So I dont put this as a complaint, just a suggestion for a better experience. We will definitely stay with this place again. This place is worth your price :)

- Fatma (2/5): Not Again - It was one of the worst experiences we ever had in Sri Lanka compared to a 3-star hotel. Photos are not similar to what we saw on booking.com and the staff was the most awkward one we have ever experienced. We were forced to attend New Year's party, which was only men and staff came to know our door 3 times to ask us to go downstairs. After saying no, we wanted to stay in the room; he called us by phone with the same request. We were two women and did not feel safe at all. We will never go back to this property!

The staff were all very pleasant although the lady on reception didn't appear to have particularly good English. The staff in the restaurant were efficient and hardworking and the food served was good. It served our purposes well for two nights.

The one thing I liked about the hotel was the sitting area outside our hotel room. My adult family members and I would congregate each evening and have drinks, and kind of happy hour. Other than this, the rooms were a little in need of updating. There wasn't much space in the rooms, and the lamps were in poor shape. However, we made the best of our stay.
