- Mulligan (10/5): -
- Laure (8/5): -
- Brenda (8/5): -

- Pat (4/5): just a needed get away from the madenss - Location was excellent there was nothing for the kids to do at the property or at the hotel
- Dermot (5/5): My work trip was 4 weeks but one week was enough for me here. - Would be a good base for sightseeing. Hill walking was only 30 minutes away. House was cold when i arrived and the bedroom was the only room which retained the heat. The kitchen was in need of an update. Cooker had missing parts. Fridge needs replacing.
- Elaine (8/5): - Property needs updating, Redecorating required
Bathrooms need work, my shower flooded the floor.
- Donal (10/5): -
- Nabila (9/5): - The location was fabulous with lots to do although I do recommend a hire car. The only negative was the internet was t working for the first 2 days and continued to go on and off. Other than that it was a perfect stay. Internet
- Josephine (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. - Great location, tranquil, scenic, walking distance to town, shops, cafés and pubs. Small hotel next door, nice for a coffee or lunch. Holiday homes were well equipped and good size for our adult family groups. Good base to explore immediate and surrounding area.
- Jan Pieter (3/5): Very disappointed - Location House was cold and not properly pre-heated as requested(heating was briefly put on before arrival). The house is very damp and has patches of mould and smells as such.
Overall the house had very little comfort in it, it needs an overall upgrade into the 2020's.(Proper coffee machine, better cooking facilities and upgraded furniture).
I would not care as much if not for the cost.
- Liam (10/5): Great time would book gay - Location and comfort Nothing
- Denise (10/5): -
- Cristiane (8/5): Very pleasant and Excellent for a relaxing time - Clean sheets and confortable beds
- Virginia (7/5): A convenient spot for visiting family living locally with cheerful and efficient staff. - The holiday home was very convenient for visiting family in Ballina. Communication was good and checkout was efficient. The absence of a cot and high chair requested at the time of booking was quickly remedied. Sadly, the house was a bit tired and a number of things didn’t work or were worn out. I’ve emailed the owners direct.
- francis (8/5): - Good locition Bottom room a bit dark .
- Linda (8/5): - The property was self-catering.
- Julia (8/5): - Ruhige und doch zentrale Lage.
Super nette, hilfsbereite Ansprechpartner.
- Shaun (5/5): Ok - Was great for space for having g a big family Unfortunately it wasn’t really cleaned that well, oven was dirty remote control to tv was greasy and gross under the beds had dust bunny’s.
The day we arrived there was no hot water for down stairs and the switch was turned off so we had to wait for the water to heat up for the next day.
Down stairs acts like a little dungeon very cold and damp feeling and nothing dried when you washed it. Only one very small drying rack and for a family of 6 it did not cut it. The clothes dryer took ages to dry anything.
My recommendation for the owner would be to get at least 2 clothes aires for each room
And more coat hangers for the cupboard as they have loads of storage but nothing in them.
The overall stay was ok but was definitely disappointed about those things and not in the description of the ad.

- Martina (8/5): - Lovely house, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, living area and dining area and well equipped kitchen The house was not as clean as I would expect. Some hairs on the floors and cobwebs in corners. The towels would all need replaced as it looks like they were originally white but are not grey. We had to go buy new towels to use. The worst was the over - I spent 2 hours cleaning it. The wire racks were absoluately disgusting and one of the oven trays was actually stuck to the bottom of the oven from previous spillages and food. Seriously I have never seen an oven as dirty in all my life. So anyone getting house 21, can now be guaranteed to have a clean oven

- Gaffney (10/5): Great holiday - We liked everything about it, lovely board walk to the two adjoining towns. The house was perfect plenty of room to enjoy it. All the facilities were very good. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
- Patrick (1/5): Bad -
- Timothy (8/5): Very good - Location Charged for towels
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - Great house Nothing
- Paul (9/5): Lakeside Killaloe - Good location
Plenty of room and bathrooms for 4 adults Blackout curtains and blinds needed on all windows for all bedrooms
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Nickbow (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Comfortable accommodation to use as a travel base. - Toilet paper provided for four days was insufficient.
- Karen (10/5): Great vacation accommodation and the staff was very responsive, - Clean, convenient and friendly staff.
- David (8/5): Pleasant stay and good value - Good size and well presented Kitchen pots and pans had encrusted food stains
Several electrical fittings were lose (main bedroom socket) and several showed missing plaster around switches. Some door handles very lose and needs basic maintenance.
- Eileen (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (9/5): It was a bit expensive for four of us for one night, however, given cleanliness and location, it was - There could have been some very basic food items like salt, pepper, sugar etc. at the property.
- Maureen (9/5): Superb -
- Jehad (7/5): Good -
- Modinat (8/5): Wonderful - Location is cool The environment is good for relaxation
- Kelebogile (8/5): Very good - The quietness and calmness The accessibility to public transport was a bit far
- Susan (6/5): Disappointing for the price - quality and comfort - and especially the management and communication - Beds were OK, three showers to use, the location would be pretty in the summer though there were no views from the property It felt pretty basic inside. The garden was so small and backed onto a main road. Parking spaces for each property were not stated on the ground and even though it was quiet someone parked outside the property taking the space. It was cold. What annoyed me most was the application of the E40 taken for energy. We watched the meter dropping rapidly, though had hardly used anything and I was ill with a bad chest infection but avoided any heat in the downstairs bedroom because of the balance dropping so much. So I remained cold all the time. Then I discovered on the last but one day, that the balance was left over from previous people, so had our E40 been applied I could have been warm. I felt that was underhand or just bad management. The toilet downstairs wasn't working too well and got a bit blocked. In any case, the bathroom was in a cupboard, or so it seemed. There were no instructions for the oven and we got it wrong, ruining food. The sofas were terrible - soggy and far too low down for sitting for anyone over 40 so we had to sit at the table all the time. The draughts through the windows howled and rattled the windows. The communication was bad from day 1 when I booked the holiday through booking.com and that seemed to cause issues without direct communication with Trident though I did eventually get messages to them.
- Brendan (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Comfy space for a group of 5 easily walkable to local hotel and town - Great location to explore local area No issues
- Rodney (8/5): Lovely area to explore - Ability to sign in to netflix. Quietness of area. Within walking distance to pubs and shops. Very hard beds. Downstairs double room with en suite very cold.. Lots of chipped crockery. No shelf or tray in shower for shampoo etc.
- Padraigin (10/5): Exceptional - Location
- Sharon (10/5): Fantastic, the holiday homes are beautiful and are based in the scenic and vibrant Killaloe. - The layout. It was excellent for a party of 6. Each couple had their own bathroom facilities There wasn’t anything we disliked. If I was pushed to make a comment, they need to look at providing better drinking glasses, ie there was only one decent wine glass (obviously an essential when holidaying with a group of 6 adults) and only one extremely large sharp knife (needs a small utility knife). So nothing major enough to dampen our impression of the holiday homes 😁
- Michelle (9/5): Lovely relaxing break - Cosy, clean and close to the village N/A
- Elisabeth (9/5): Superb - Good location to access the west coast of Ireland Small cubicles for the showers in the bathrooms
- Laurence (7/5): Nice place and location - Setting was nice and it was a good size. It was not very soundproofed downstairs you could hear every step and cough from rooms above. It was also a bit dated. Eg numbers on controls on cooker were all worn away.
- Andrew (4/5): Great location, in bad need of an update - The location was the reason we chose the property. Fit & Finish were shabby. Paint peeling, cupboards with minimal and mismatched glass wear etc. Ceilings with damage, spider webs in most ceiling corners.
- Sharon (8/5): Nice, but be careful with payment processing. - Did not need to meet up to get the key, they arranged with depo box, with code. The utilities and payment processing. They don’t use Bookings and the drama therefore is that credit card authorization is not happening without calling and hanging on the line.
The utilities, we were in a pre-paid box apartment and the credit thereon was too much. We even charged our car, to make the units decrease, we were there for 4 days.
- Clifford (10/5): Exceptional -
- Theresa (3/5): We would not return to this property - very disappointing. - It was in Kilaloe. Property is dirty and dated. It is not at all like the image of the living room which we saw online on Booking.com. Property is definitely not river view.
It is located in a housing estate with a mix of holiday homes and more permanent residents.
Some things which Trident needs to fix:
There were cobwebs hanging in windows and off light shades in most rooms.
Lamps need working bulbs.
Baseboards were dusty and need cleaning.
Long crack in wall of downstairs bedroom.
Broken floor tile in one of the bathrooms.
Upholstered chairs in both downstairs bedrooms were filthy / I can send more photos if needed.
Downstairs ensuite bathroom toilet seat not properly attached.
Place needs a fresh coat of paint.
Front garden full of weeds and clearly untended.
No hairdryer - there should be one in the house for guests use.
- Nickbow (9/5): Holiday Home -Great Value, Perfect Location - Location, style, spacious, amenities, privacy
- Antoinette (8/5): Very good -
- Eileen (9/5): Superb - The check out time was 10oc it was too early shd be 11oc as was at wedding the day before
- Vanessa (9/5): Overall enjoyed. Lovely house. Loads space - Spacious Little bit far out .. no taxis No soap shower gel hairdryer etc
- Phil (10/5): Fantastic stay in Killaloe. - Lovely three bedroom house with fully equipped kitchen.
- Denia (8/5): Very good - A nice place...! When I had to recharge the electricity I had a problem, and the staff I contacted was not very helpful, I had to decide on my own whether to improve this aspect.
- Georgina (2/5): Not suitable for a comfortable break during a winter stay - Property Manager was really helpful It was horribly cold and expensive to heat on only storage heaters.
- Olivia (10/5): Excellent - Location, comfort
- Deirdre (8/5): Lovely break in a quiet location. - Excellent location, right next to the Killaloe Hotel, where we were attending a wedding party. Lovely views across the hills.
Cottage had everything we needed for a short break and was plenty big enough for 4 of us. Some minor maintenance problems needing attention - one light bulb in the lounge was not working when we arrived and the second one started to flicker on our final morning. The showers are quite small and the waste needed clearing out, as you were stood in 3 inches of water by the end of a short shower. The flick switch on the kettle had been broken off, so only a tiny bit of plastic left to switch it on. Otherwise, everything else was perfectly ok.
- Rowan (8/5): Very good - Comfortable apartments, good location. staff very helpful when a problem. No complaints on the help and advice we received.
Easy access to town, Some kitchen equipment could be improved. (Pots and pans) more seving dishes an glasses
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (9/5): Nice property, in a great location and only a short walk from the towns. - Location, layout, parking.
Great for our family unit with five adults Only hand and tea towels supplied.
We knew this in advance, so wasted packing space for bulky towels.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cathleen (5/5): It was adequate. - There was no breakfast. Location was fine. I did not like paying extra for towels and electricity. I paid £40 for electricity and we barely used £2 as we were out each day. There was no refund. The floors are extremely noisy for the guests downstairs.
- Jamie (9/5): Superb -
- Emin (9/5): fantastic property very comfortable and clean with a great location - first impressions were very clean, spacious and comfortable and great location couldn’t fault anything
- Patricia (4/5): the worst accommodation we stayed at - not much very dated. not clean ,very expensive for what it was . no towels upon arrival or extra toilet paper to be found anywhere. overall very poor accommodation we stayed all over Ireland this trip and this was by far the worst and most expensive accommodation
- Teresa (9/5): it was fabulous. weather suberb - location, clean & comfortable
- Nadine (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Lilian (8/5): Very good - Good size house quiet area. The sitting room is upstairs which would be great if you had a nice view.. We had a view of the rubbish bins and opposite us the back of other houses.
No facilities on the site and looks like a lot of the houses are long term rental .
- Olga (8/5): Very good -
- Lyn (9/5): Superb -
- Keith (8/5): Very good -
- Marcin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregory (7/5): Great time in a great location - Plenty of room in the property,
Great location. The electricity was a rip off 20 Euro a day for the stay and that was with the boiler turned off otherwise would have been even more.
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional - Location and level of comfort. N/A
- Niamh (8/5): Very good -
