elizabethrB1735CN (4/5): Disappointed - The room was clean, and that’s why I’ll have to leave the good news. The air conditioner was very noisy. We came down for breakfast morning the juice machine and the coffee machine were both broken. We were told to go up to a room and make coffee. I couldn’t even getwater. They had taken the water dispenser away and said it would not come back out until three. The front desk staff was unfriendly. I had to pay a bottle of water in order to have something to drink at breakfast.

Deborah (8/5): It was nice, location is good, rooms are nice size, walls a like thin you can hear everything upstairs in the hall etc. - The location but was a little confusing to get too. The lobby area was cramped and decorated oddly for biker rally. It was just an odd layout.

TheRudys (10/5): Well run, clean Best Western plus - Our second stay at BWP Ft. Stockton Tx. We were warmly greeted by desk personnel ( I neglected to get her name, sorry.) After a long drive this hotel met all our needs. It's exceptionally clean throughout hotel. I especially enjoyed fluffy bath towels after a nice hot shower, which by the way had safety strips on shower floor. We enjoyed a managers light dinner consisting of chicken strips corn and mashed potatoes. All in all this is a well run establishment and if passing through Ft. Stockton a great place to spend the night.

Deven (7/5): Perfect stop for what we needed! - Loved our stay. The bed was comfortable. Pool was clean. The shower amenities smelled of citrus. Shower had great pressure. Washer dryer was available for a quick load. The breakfast had good variety. The room was clean. Parking was easy. Front desk both at check in and out were super friendly. The internet was not compatible with any of my computers. They didn’t offer secure WiFi. The toilets seats are left up upon arrival with makes me cringe, who wants to look into a toilet first thing! Some of the furniture was falling apart causing a mess on the floor.

Thomas (9/5): Nice, clean hotel with easy freeway access and friendly staff. - Breakfast was adequate--something for everyone. The location is easy to get to from the freeway. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We also enjoyed the bar and nachos; they also give you a snickerdoodle cookie at check-in. Smelled a little too much of cleaning solution.

Great location, service, outstanding staff. Very easy exit/entrance ramps to I 10. Look ahead to to my stay again next. Pleasant rooms, very clean. Overall a great place to stay, I recommend this property to all who visit/travel in this area!

bigthicket (8/5): Our go to hotel when in Ft. Stockton area. - Friendly service , clean rooms, comfortable beds, easy access to 1-10, and a good breakfast made for a very good stay. Also we’re glad there was a nice size fridge in our room with a small freezer section. Hotel has a great bar but this stay we did not get to enjoy it. This is a dog friendly hotel. On this stay I did notice a dog smell in the elevator area . We did not have a dog with us.

Jack (10/5): We had an excellent stay. - We loved the fact that the front desk staff was friendly and professional. The hotel is well maintained, as well. We will be back. We booked an ADA compliant room with a roll in shower. The shower curb needed attention to keep water from spilling over into the middle of the bathroom.

melendz (10/5): Excellent Stay - The room was clean and spacious. In addition to the free breakfast buffet with many options, this property offers free dinner snacks including nachos and chilli dogs. What sets this property apart is the service. Upon arrival, I was given cookies and a packet full of local information about Fort Stockton as well about Big Ben National Park and nearby towns. The friendly attendant even printed a couple of Google Maps of places that he recommended visiting.

Karen Allen (9/5): quiet relaxing day away from home. - Within 30 minutes after checking in the front desk called to make sure the room was to our liking and that all was good. I was shocked by that, but it was a really nice touch. We were on the second floor, and it was very quiet no noise problems at all.

Hard to beat. - Pet Friendly rooms were no different than standard rooms and were clean and fresh did not smell like a pet friendly room could. This is much appreciated from a responsible pet owner. Great breakfast, best hotel/buffet scrambled eggs I have ever had and best priced bar items in town. I don't like that establishments such as yourself are making traveling with pets easier but some take advantage of this trend and refuse to cleanup after their animals. Can only imagine what their back yards look like at home.

I shared with the front desk that the bathroom drain was very slow and the bathroom towel rack was 'broken', one of the mounts was lose. Otherwise I found the room to be clean, odor-free and the bed was very comfortable. The hotels breakfast was complete and well managed.

Nomad658022 (10/5): Fort Stockton Surprise - What a delight to find this gem along the way home on our cross-country trip. The gracious hospitality, beautiful and well-equipped facility, spotlessly clean room and comfortable bed were such a welcomed treat as we stopped in Stockton TX on our way back to Arizona. The delicious food during the evening social hour was a lovely surprise for these road-weary travelers. Everyone we encountered on the staff was very welcoming and kind, and we had the best experience here. Well done Best Western!

Karen (9/5): A nice hotel with some extra touches! - Nice surprise of free chili dogs (and beer for purchase) when we arrived around 7:30pm, and bags of popcorn & a cookie for our room. Good breakfast too! Pet fee of $25 or $30 for 2 dogs was reasonable. Good tv /stations. Friendly staff. No hand soap in bathroom & only decafe coffees. (Didnt notice to ask at desk until inconvenient to do so.)

They make it so nice by having a complimentary sandwich and fries dinner.There is a small bar that you can have a drink while socializing if you want .The bartender was great and gave us nachos and cheese while sitting there watching the Super Bowl. The rooms are very clean and have everything you may need.
Scenic65703671020 (2/5): Not a plus type hotel - Walking in .. desk people were friendly… But hotel had a heavy bathroom cover up smell. We were told the entire hotel was pet friendly! Not realizing this when we booked! And it was too late to search out another Hotel! It was beyond that it was a lower class hotel for a high price.. the floors and wall seem to be of the same materials .. the huge televisions were hung high on the wall…the breakfast was good but mainly processed foods. Worse The hand towel on the bathroom rack had something that looked like poop on it..! Too late at night to move Just warning Do not stay there if you do not have a Pet..

daviddT2608YH (10/5): This hotel is a gem - This hotel is phenomenal. My stop at Fort Stockton was unplanned and my expectations for a “walk in” were not high. For a very reasonable price (about $140 with a military discount) I had a suite with a king sized bed and full kitchen. There is a very nice bar and after eight hours of driving a bourbon & beer were just the right medicine. The bartender, a gentleman named Bert, offered great service and very pleasant conversation. The fitness room and pool are clean and in great shape. Although I had to leave without using them myself I took a look this morning and saw a lovely family fully enjoying themselves with a swim, and some retirees getting their morning workout in. The front desk service was outstanding. I came in at a relatively late hour and they were very professional and accommodating. This hotel is a gem and perfectly situated for anyone traveling the area. I will definitely be back with my family for the next road trip.

SurryG (10/5): Nice Hotel with Two Meals - This Best Western has become a stopping point when we travel west from South Texas. We will have driven over 500 miles and are quite tired. The have a light meal in the evening so you don't have to leave, and you can go to your room and relax to get ready for the next day. The room is nice, and they have a good breakfast the next morning. The staff is very good, and it is easy to access the major highways the next morning. I highly recommend this Best Western.

Refrigerator was blocking circuit panel! Pretty sure that’s a violation, outlet by tv mounted sideways? Only sitting chair was wedged between wall and nightstand, crazy! Caulking in shower needed attention, your restaurant next door was polite waitstaff, no mixed greens as she stated , so my burger came out with no salad? Menu stated pickles, no pickles! When I asked she acted like I ate them already, being she didn’t have the salad I wanted I finished my burger, then an order of fries showed up ! Excellent fries! I wanted shrimp appetizer, we don’t offer that anymore?????I was told at front desk manager/owner would call me, never happened

Room 319 – so/so. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and helpful. A complimentary light dinner was offered on Wednesday night (and possibly on other nights, as I was only there one night). The dinner consisted of salad, garlic bread, and lasagna. There were also nachos (chips, cheese, jalapenos) available at the bar. Yes, there is a real bar inside the lobby. The exterior was well-lit and well-maintained. The public areas inside the hotel were clean and updated. The breakfast consisted of the standard BW breakfast items and was delicious. My disappointment was with my room, Room 319. The mattress felt lumpy. The microwave was dirty/stained, with a rusty interior. The bathroom ceiling vent was askew. There was a dehumidifier hanging on a hook in the bathroom, but it was not plugged in and did not appear to be ‘charged’ as the beads were pink and are normally dark when charged. The grab bar at the tub was rusty. A small metal plate was screwed into the apron of the vanity. The closet door was damaged, and repairs were attempted with black tape. There were holes in the walls by the bed. Overall experience: 4 out of 5 Room: 2 out of 5
