- Lynette (10/5): Want to find a reason to go back. - We stayed in the Sunset Suite with a wonderful view of the lake from our balcony! I did not want to leave it. Bed comfortable, loveseat seating, games, suitcase racks, table for breakfast, bathroom with 2 sinks and long counter, shower/tub combo and sumptuous breakfast delivered to our room. Coffee was great! Nothing.

They had kayaks, paddle boards, and a nice dock to enjoy the amazing, clear water and watch the beautiful sunsets. We had delicious breakfasts overlooking the lake each morning.

But the star of the show is the breakfasts!! It was delicious and so much that we didn't have to eat until dinner!! The dock area was the best to hang out on and they let us use the kayaks.

We specifically stayed here for a hot tub, and when we arrived, we found the hot tub had been emptied out and closed for the season, even though the website and all other notifications showed that this would be available. Also, our room was not stocked with regular coffee just decaf. It was clearly the end of the season and things were slowing down. I will really wish we had known that the hot tub wouldn’t be available for such a pricey stay.

My husband and I felt so welcomed from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. The room was very clean and the amenities that they offered to enjoy the lake were outstanding. The best part had to be our breakfast. The banana pancakes that we had just couldn’t be topped! The owners were so friendly and we can’t speak highly enough about this bed and breakfast. Our only regret…we should have booked 2 nights when we planned our trip!

Breakfast was ready and brought to our door at the prefect time. The views are to die for. If you're looking for a romantic, quite and kid free getway this is the place!! The jacuzzi was nice, but the water could've been replaced.

We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge chairs on the dock for amazing lake views. We took their paddle board out many times. We stayed in the Carriage House room. The Bed was super comfy. The sound machine is a nice touch! Breakfast was great and exactly what I had hoped for ( Eggs Benedict) Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Wish we would have stayed more than one night!

Deb and Mike are incredible Hosts and their property is A+ Everything was special, our room with a balcony and panoramic view of Torch Lake. 2 hours on the sunset cruise was an added bonus! Spacious room with high end amenities which were so appreciated- little touches made all the difference, The breakfast was the best we had on our vacation ! Kudos to the chef! There is a JACUZZI in the deck as well- amazing! I left my phone charger and Deb mailed it to me in California! So very kind and considerate. Book this beautiful spot, you won’t be sorry! It’s gorgeous!

Deb and her husband were wonderful hosts and both breakfasts were amazing! The large house is beautiful and each morning we sat on the porch overlooking majestic Torch Lake. We enjoyed the serenity of the neighborhood there were hardly any cars. The accommodations were amazing as well. We had more than everything we could possibly need and then room decor was very tastefully done. The lake itself reminded me of a tropical ocean. I highly recommend the torch, Lake bed and breakfast. The location can't be beat -- overlooking Torch Lake. The availability of paddleboards etc for free use was much appreciated. Just hanging out on the dock watching the water was a slice of heaven. It's also close enough to wineries, restaurants etc. if you do want to venture out a bit (but we were content just staying in the water or on the dock most of the time!) And the breakfasts were fantastic! We loved everything!

The room was comfortable and well appointed. The proprietors were kind and breakfast was generous and delicious. Would definitely stay there again. Of note, there is a DC CCS Fast Charger 1.6 miles from the property.

I enjoy seeing ducks, crayfish, a heron and listening to the doves cooing in the evening. We stayed in the vista suite and it was very quite and comfortable to stay in.

Mike & Deb are great hosts who served amazingly delicious breakfasts, which were prepared with fresh, seasonal fruits & vegetables were beautifully presented. Our super clean, nicely decorated, quiet, airconditioned room with private sundeck, had breath taking views of the Aqua waters of Torch Lake. They offer Kayaks and Paddle boards (or Sunset Boat Trips) to explore the lake, which we did take up the offer of Kayaks (what great fun). We will be going back!

The lake was everything we wanted and more from the amenities available to the stunning shorelines, crystal clear water and amazing sunset cruise. This resort is peaceful and just simply amazing. I look forward to a return visit some day. My husband and I highly recommend the Torch Lake Bed & Breakfast. Also, do try the Torch Lake Cafe during your stay. It is awesome as well.

- C9258AWcheryll (10/5): Enjoyed a relaxing weekend! - We enjoyed our stay at Torch Lake B&B. The lake is so beautiful and Deb's breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The hot tub was perfect after our busy day spent in Charlevoix. Mike & Deb were wonderful hosts, they shared their knowledge of places to visit and restaurants to eat in the area, they really made our stay special and we will definitely return next year.

- V2972WZwendyd (2/5): The owner ripped us off - We reserved a room on 10/21/2019 with Deb Cannon. This July 2020 she called me to say she wasn't opening her B and B and she would refund our $469.52. After 2 weeks and multiple phone calls she still hasn't refunded it. Horrible customer service, excuse after excuse. BEWARE
- Resort362072 (10/5): Lovely stay - We visited off season, so all was calm and quiet. We had a lovely visit with a warm welcome and comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was amazing with baked apples and eggs benedict. The view was spectacular!

The setting was picture perfect with lots of opportunities: relaxing beside the lake, kayaking, paddle boarding or taking day trips. Rooms have everything you could need and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Bring a big appetite for the fabulous breakfasts!
- cricket23chicago (8/5): Amazing View and wonderful hosts! - We loved this B & B and will visit again soon.I didnt give 5 stars because I only give 5 stars if everything is perfect and to me it wasnt but to some it may be.The pros first: Amazing views, comfortable beds, AC temp was great.We stayed in the main floor suite which is the Sunset Suite which has it's own private deck area which was perfect.There are two more suites down stairs in a walkout basement but they have nice views and a suite above the garage which has no private deck but you can come down stairs to the common deck.You have to go down alot of stairs and cross a non busy road to get the the water.There is a great pier and kayaks and paddleboards for the guests to use, which is great.Lounging chairs on the end of pier are so relaxing. The living room and sun room are wonderful as is the kitchen but no guests came up in the main space to relax which was great for us.The cons: I may be being picky but for over $440.a night I should be.The bedroom was an ok size but not big, my nightstand was a refrigerator with a microwave on top not necessary in a small room.There is a small pot bellied fireplace with a TV on top of it.There was a very uncomfortable old chair and that was the only place besides the bed to sit.The bedspread was very dated with grandma flowers that kind of matched the room border.The bathroom had 2 sinks but on one end was a coffee maker and a huge vase with silk flowers which should go because you needed room on the vanity.The tub /shower with sliding door was hard to get in and out of, it was very dated so take it out and put in a tiled walk in shower.Breakfast was pretty good but certainly not as good as other BnBs we have stayed at.Also for the price there was no wine and hor'derves at 5 like many places do.For the price I would expect that.There were silk flowers everywhere including outside which is so tacky.I kept thinking just a few changes and it would be perfect but with the view and great people just overlook the dated stuff.

Short drives to multiple attractions or simply relax on the dock, or take a ride on the kayaks. Breakfasts were wonderful and literally more than we could eat.

- amiraI7691IN (10/5): Highly recommended - Torch lake is a hidden gem of MI. It’s a huge lake with crystal clear water and plenary of activities. Staying at Deb & Mike’s B&B is the best way to enjoy this area. Unfortunately we stayed only one night this time and are sure to come back. Any superlative we’ll use can’t do justice to how well the owners are keeping this place to every detail. The room had all the amnesties and a beautiful view of the lake. They have a private access to the lake and provide you with a kayak, surf or snorkeling gear. The breakfast and all day home made cakes/cookies are a real treat. Can’t wait to come back!

- Lawrence (10/5): Very nice B & B right on the lake - Had a wonderful stay at Torch Lake Bed n Breakfast. Room had everything we needed and bed was very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The view of Torch Lake from the room and outdoor balcony was amazing. We felt so relaxed and it was very calming just being there. Just down some steps and walk right on to the dock where there are plenty of chairs to sit or lay out on the lake. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, better than any restaurant you could go to. The hosts were great people and I'm glad we had the chance to meet them. Most definitely would stay here again next time we are in the area.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great view - Excellent view of the lake high up on a bluff. Great experience getting to know new people at breakfast. Hosts took care of every need. Waterfront is nice and water is crystal clear. Shoreline is rocky and there is really no beach but a very nice dock with a ladder providing access to the water. Quite a few steps from the water to B&B but there is parking both above and below the B&B so you can avoid the steps by a quick drive around the corner. Paddle boards and kayaks available for use. Several good restaurants are a short drive away.
