Guest Reviews
- joseph (1/5): Don’t stay here. - Room was small and outdated with the sink in weird place not the bathroom. We requested and got a nonsmoking room but the full time live in residents next door smoked continuously and it was coming in through the vents and walls. Room stunk of stale smoke. Several of the hotel residents lived there full time. Room was dirty, sheets were old, stained and had holes. We travel with a small service animal and manager /owner broke several laws upon check in …insisting that the dog had to be with us at all times or he would call the police and have animal removed. While I am under no obligation to disclose this …my dog stays awake all night and watches and alerts me if I have a sleep seizure. Therefore he needs to sleep during the day. He illegally insisted that this was not possible. We paid for seven nights but left after 2 and forfeited the money it was so bad. Went to a different hotel as you should as well. Dirty, old, stunk of stale smoke, other guests lived at hotel. Pool was non filled with water as it may be too early in season.
- Dana (7/5): - Location No ice once again.
- Stephanie (1/5): If you can DO NOT STAY HERE!! - Not one thing. And I will never use booking.com again. This was horrible and we did not stay at this establishment. Drive up and dirty and people everywhere the front desk staff was the rudest person I’ve ever seen at a front desk. NOTHING!! It was all false advertising and when did not feel safe because of all the people in parking lot asked not to stay there. Front desk gave an attitude and would not refund, told me booking had to so I talked to booking and they asked if we could get refund. The hotel denied. Saying I was rude. I’ve lived in Kanab and should have known better but o want to support small businesses. But you get what you pay for. Trashy, dirty and lot of off people in tiny parking lot.
- Jeffrey (6/5): -
- Rachel (7/5): Cheap but cheap - Needs lots of renovations. No hair dryer, no facial tissue. The carpet was old. The bed was hard.
Very quiet, though. We had people on both sides but didn't hear a word.
Check-in was easy and nice lady.
- Phillips (10/5): -
- Brandy (5/5): It was a good value with a great location, but it really needs to be cleaned up. - The staff was great. A nice welcome. It was very outdated. It had a horrible, musty smell. It was a place where i didn’t want to take my shoes off or take a shower. 😞
- Todd (1/5): -
- Linda (2/5): - The bed was broken, we had to fix it. Room was dirty, dust balls in the closet. Screen was very dirty. Hole in front window, walls/painting very outdated
- SIRIWAN (10/5): -
- John (10/5): - The manager Nery was awesome.
- cory (1/5): terrible experience very uncomfortable would never ever recommend. - nothing They gave me a double bed instead of the King I booked. The lights in washroom don’t work. The hot water didn’t work. The TV didn’t work. Staff was rude and hung up on me when I brought the issues up.
- Jack (3/5): -
- Angela (9/5): -
- Vincent (3/5): You get what you pay for. - Price and location Shower did not work properly. Bathroom exhaust fan extremely loud and dirty. Tv did not work properly. Room needs renovation. No staff present at checkin.
- Arroyo (9/5): -
- Andrew (5/5): Won’t come again - Cold water from shower
- Nancy (5/5): Below average - Took 15 minutes to get hot water. Lights didn't work over sink. No cups. They need to spend some money on maintenance.
- Marton (8/5): -
- Joannah (6/5): Big comfort for an awesome deal. - Bed was comfy, the shower was big, a quiet place, right down town, available laundry facilities, nice mom and pop place. It was off season so the price was what we liked the most. Could use a little refresh- like new black out curtains.
- Anselmo (6/5): -
- Inigo (10/5): Great value and comfy stay in Kanab as a hub to visit the parks - Clean, convenient, cabin-like stay, value for money All was perfect
- Bradley (8/5): Good - Price Nothing wrong
- Susan (9/5): Nice stay in Kanab - Cute room decor. Comfortable and clean. Pool wasn’t available.
- Ashir (6/5): Great value for money, heating was tricky - Great value for money during the offseason. There was minimal or no sound coming from neighbors or traffic. The bathroom is too small for a shower, especially if you don't want your hair to get wet. The most frustrating part that disturbed our sleep everyday was the heating unit. It never maintained the set temperature, too hot at 72 (feels like 78) or too cold at 68 (feels like 65). We had to keep turning it off after every couple hours to keep the warm temperature.
- Tashina (8/5): Fantastic - The Redrock Country Inn is a fantastic place to stay. It is a cute old-fashioned Inn. The area is a great close to restaurants, and Zion National Park. Please support them.
- Bruna (6/5): Custo benefício - O preço e o chuveiro O banheiro é bem apertado e não tem aquecedor nele.

- Karen (10/5): - Everyone is so nice and helpful with anything you ask. The rooms smell and look so good. The housekeeper is kind and goes out of her way to make my stay nice. They are a pet friendly hotel and have easy parking.
The hotel has a old country style and the staff make you feel at home and comfortable.
I will be back again.

- Kārlis (8/5): -

- Sokolenko (8/5): - Знімали на одну ніч, були проїздом. Персонал не дуже привітний) номер нормальний щоб переночувати. Достатньо чисто. Є прачечна. Басейн дуже брудний. Персонал не дуже привітний
- Sherri (10/5): - I got to meet Shannon and Karen. Also the Boss that works in the office. They are the most pleasant you could ever meet. If you needed anything they are right there to help accommodate you. The next time I go to kanab I'm staying at redrockcountry inn. I really enjoyed my 3 days I spent there. It was a lot of fun and they have reasonable prices.
- Joe (8/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): - I love this hotel I come back to the same one every time I head up to see my grandbaby.
- Sheila (10/5): - Lovely Hotel. Very nice people. Clean. Quiet.
- Jacob (10/5): - Cheap and in the area!
- Shannon (10/5): - The staff is very friendly and their cleaning lady was very kind and helpful. There are so many outdoor activities like the Coral Pink Sand Dunes! It was affordable, the rooms are clean and rustic looking, beds are comfortable and you get to park your car right in front of your door. My dogs were happy too ☺️
- Don (4/5): - Unfriendly people. Loud, plaster patch on the wall not painted rug dirty. Felt unsafe
- Liliana (10/5): - We only slept a couple of hours and left.
We were very satisfied with the place and the staff.
- Charles (10/5): - Good experience
- Rebecca (9/5): -
- Deborah (8/5): Appreciate the pleasant owner and staff. - No breakfast included. Owner was pleasant. I did forget my personal shower bag. Lite green with zippers, want to pick it up in a week when going back. PLEASE save it. I tried to call, was unable to leave message. Thx Deborah Ellis TV not working , problem w/satellite.
- Shannon (10/5): - I relly enjoyed the clean rooms and the friendly staff, who let me know about all the adventures the area offers. It is also close to shopping and I couldn't believe how quiet the location was. This hotel also has prices that are affordable for all.
- Susan (10/5): Pet friendly - I always stay here when I travel through Kanab twice a year. It’s dog friendly and the owner is extremely nice. I feel safe here too. It is nothing fancy, but my room was big and the bathroom was extremely big. My only complaint were the curtains were torn, and it was hard to keep prying eyes out. Bed was comfortable and I love having a refrigerator, freezer and microwave.
- Nadja (8/5): -
- Jc (6/5): Pretty nice - The location, right downtown, near shops and restaurants, in a nice little town
- Kesha (6/5): It did the job - The staff are awesome, very friendly and helpful. The beds and bathroom were clean. The carpet and front door look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The air conditioner and refrigerator make a ridiculous amount of noise. The location to Zion National Park is really nice. There is a grocery store right next to the hotel that stays open past 9, very convenient. If you want a working TV be prepared to be disappointed, but the front desk said if it was a problem they would come and fix it. We didn’t need it.
- Andrea (6/5): -
- Ederson (10/5): -
- Sharon (10/5): Great place ti stay!! - This is the third or fourth time we have stopped here while going to Salt Lake City and plan even more stops.
- Bryan (6/5): - The refrigerator in the room had food still in it from the previous tenant, not a good sign for cleanliness
- Elodie (10/5): A good night’s rest! - The rooms are comfortable and have original wood ceilings. Fridge and microwave.
The place is older but the forty six bucks a night makes this place perfect. Really quiet at night. And staff is friendly.
- Genevieve (6/5): - It was ok , just staying the night to get a few hours of rest and refresh get back to the event . Early morning
- John (2/5): Not even good - It’s not the nice western style atmosphere you’d expect by looking at the pictures. This was Sturgis weekend so, it seemed bikers had the priority. The parking spot at the lobby door, designated for incoming guests, was packed with motorcycles that customers had to maze through to get to the lobby doors. They had warning signs for smoking and pets, $250.00 per violation yet, the whole damn building, including inside the rooms, reeked of smoke.
- Tawhiao (10/5): - Handy, walkable location; spacious, clean room; no-fuss check in with friendly, helpful staff.
- Angela (8/5): - This property had a room with three beds in one room. It was convenient for us all and it was cheap. $61 for a Tuesday night. Great price. Would definitely stay again
- Young (10/5): well done ! 😂. very nice people and rooms - the people .na
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not. That’s it. Just do not. - The pool, yes open, was absolutely disgusting. My kids and I after a long day of being in the car, were excited to utilize, the steps were covered in scum, and the shallow pool you couldn’t even see anywhere near the bottom. As for our room, the floor was so filthy we refused to not wear shoes. The bathroom which was weirdly divided between the room -shower and toilet in one area- and sink in a far place. The toilet was within an arms reach of my pillow. There was one clean towel that we could use for anything. Thankfully we only stayed a night and didn’t need anything else. There was a filthy wash cloth hanging in the closet. Clearly used, and hung to dry with staining. Pillows were thinner than the blankets. Everytime we walked outside the other guests were bombarding the classified as family friendly place with cigarette smoke to the point we could barely stand to leave the room. The man running the desk was rude, and refused my military identification as an adequate ID and argued it. I was also questioned severely about my service animal. Cheap, but not worth that disgusting atmosphere and behavior of this place.
- Anjuli (3/5): -
- Tashina (10/5): It's worth every penny. - The man who checked us in was very kind. He gave me advance on a great reasturant. Also, where to go with my kids and who to talk to if I wanted more information. The rooms were cute, the shower and the sink are in different rooms, which I thought was funny. But they were clean. The beds are comfy. The area was nice, and we could walk to pretty much any place to eat and explore the town. I will diffenlty stay there again when I go back. Dont let the other reviews make you not go. It is worth it. Go support them. Really can't complain, but the dog outside barked.
- Massimiliano (8/5): - La camera bella grande, un solo letto matrimoniale quindi buono spazio per muoversi e tetto in legno a vista, molto bello rispetto ai normali motel fronte strada americani! Tutto nella norma, un motel economico con trattamento economico
- Emmanuel (9/5): Superb -
- Elodie (10/5): Perfect for an overnight in Kanab - The place is quiet, comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Had a fridge and microwave in the room. The rooms have a wooden ceiling which add a little charm for that price range. Dogs are allowed for an extra fee.
- Yukie (9/5): Superb - It was in the center of the city and had a great access to businesses such as gas stations and restaurants. Staffs are nice and polite. The layout of shower room and bathroom was a bit weird, it wasn't a big deal thou.
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renee (10/5): Comfortable beds, quiet - Nice comfortable room. Easy to check in. Quiet.
- Solomon (8/5): - It was alright but good price would stay in it again.
- Jim (8/5): - good place to stay
- Jessica (10/5): I love this place! - I love this place! I stay there once to maybe twice a month to go visit my grandbaby. They’re always super sweet. It’s fairly quiet and very convenient. I’ll continue to stay here.
- Pulak (6/5): - No ice-maker (broke)? No coffee maker in room
- Walsh (1/5): Bad -
- Steven (5/5): Passable -
- Jalene (4/5): - First off the room wasn’t the room that I booked. The curtains had holes in them. The carpet had black spots all over it. The sink didn’t have enough room for anything. I don’t think they vacuumed the carpet or swept the floor even. I was not impressed and will not go back. Sorry I didn’t take photos. I was too disgusted.
- Candace (2/5): - Very dirty and poorly maintained, I booked another hotel because I refused to stay there and fought with the staff for a refund and asked my reservation to be cancelled
- Susan (8/5): - Great place to stay with dogs. Unfortunately there’s not much grass around. Also no coffee and no ice but a store within a half a block.
- Karen (6/5): - Employees were very nice. Property was not attractive. Looked run down. Pool was empty and no place to walk the dog. Room was accessible but carpet had stains and part of wall was chipped.
- Mark (2/5): - Room had just been painted and masking tape still covered door lock. TV and phone did not work and manager could not fix. Ice machine broken and cooler containing ice was empty. Had to ask that it be refilled. Paid the extra $20 for dog fee but parking lot was so full of sand burrs she could only take a few steps before I had to remove the burrs from her feet.
- Kelly (8/5): - Very comfortable bed with no bad odors or major issues. It’s a very old motel & definitely not perfect but was clean and quiet. We stay in room 20 which I would recommend any front rooms ( not in the back ). Had a good nights sleep!
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - It looks like it's the oldest & maybe a little run down. But since I spend little time in the room it's perfect. The beds are good, sheets. Towels clean I'd love good ol up dated air-conditioning but it's not hot!!
- Tyler (8/5): - The bed was comfortable with clean crisp sheets. Staff was very professional. For the price, you get a clean decent room.
- Christa (8/5): Very happy with our short stay - Our long driving day had us arriving around 1 in the morning. After speaking to the front desk on the phone, we were able to expedite our check-in to get into our room quickly.
Overall, the room was comfortable. You could tell that the hotel was per-friendly, but it didn’t smell or stink like animals unless you got on the ground (I lost my glasses at one point and checked under the bed, which had been destroyed by a cat from a previous tenant).
- linda (4/5): - This is a dilapidated motel with no staff, supplies or service. Not enough hot water, pool not only out of service, but surrounded with trash. Ice machine out of service and full of dirt. Unsightly stains on carpet and drapes. Big, cement cigarette ashtray right outside my room filled with butts. My room and the pillows smelled like an ashtray. I had an asthma attack. Not a good choice
- Suzanne (8/5): - Overall satisfaction but parking needs to be redesigned so customers can't block entrance to parking spot, especially at room 14.
- Len (8/5): - Good!! No problems at all
