- Kiotta (10/5): Beautiful place with nice staff. - Clean. Nice staff. No microwaves.
- carlyo424 (2/5): Don’t get fooled by “resort” - I asked to heat up food as there is only a fridge in each room. Was told the microwave in the restaurant closed at 10pm by concierge.
- Francisco (10/5): Very good experience - Very relaxing No comment
- Mizrahi (6/5): Nice location, but uncomfortable stay. - The breakfast was good and the staff was very kind. Especially the security guard. There was a man that tried to attack me and my friend while staying. I believe maybe he was drunk. It made the stay very uncomfortable & I didn’t get to enjoy the facilities out of fear of seeing the man again. I’m not sure if he was staying at the hotel or just there for the bar. But it felt like a waste of money because I couldn’t really enjoy myself. The security guard walked us up to our room thankfully, but there wasn’t much else the staff did to accommodate anything.

- Manau (7/5): - Location and comfy beds. Prices didn’t match up when booking with third party.
- X1147JJcynthiam (10/5): Validated for Purpose Women's Ministry Inc. - This was the absolutely best experience ever. Mariah was amazing along with Milly. We celebrated our 3 years here as a group - Validated for Purpose Women's Ministry Inc. annual Retreat. The rooms, food and location is 5 star service. I would recommend this location if you are looking for a one stop service.
- Shante (10/5): -
- Leila (10/5): - Rooms are very spacious. Great for families!
- annehU3133FQ (4/5): Okay hotel, terrible customer service - My family stayed here for 4 nights for a college tour and golf trip. While I appreciate that the space is nice (and the beds were comfy), the service was some of the worst we have dealt with in a long time. While everyone was basically nice, no one was at all helpful. We sat down for drinks in the bar one night and it took 30 minutes to be served. The food was terrible and extremely expensive ($9 for an Americano). No one knew how to book a tennis court, even though it is advertised as a golf and tennis club. And there were several times when I was told by the front desk that I needed to do something in the pro shop. And the pro shop told us we needed to do something at the front desk (it is a long walk between them and no one offered to pick up the phone). The pro shop told me I needed to call customer service to change a tee time. And customer service put me on hold to call the pro shop. I travel a lot for work and with my family and I dont think I have ever written a bad review before. But I thought it was worth pointing out so perhaps they can make a few changes. Don't stay here if service is something you care about.

- 383latoyah (10/5): Spa is the ONLY keeper!!! - I initially booked this resort for a birthday getaway Grand experience package and chose to do the spa back in October. While I was so excited to stay at the resort I must say the resort itself is over hyped. The rooms are outdated and could definitely use some upgrades for the pricing of the packages. We checked in on a Wednesday night and I will say the customer service doesn’t match the pricing of the property or give a “resort” type of vibe. Our room key didn’t work upon arrival and the toilet stopped working while we were there. As I understand things happen I think if the money made is invested back into the rooms that would help a lot! The greeters at the door rarely spoke or attempted to even look at you walking in to provide a welcoming experience upon arrival. On Thursday we had our massages and let me say when we stepped foot in the spa area the energy was UNMATCHED!!! We were welcomed with a warm greeting upon arrival, and personally walked back to spa area by the supervisor Debra Stephen’s. She was very detailed of the spa inclusions, walked us around to the spa areas as well as walking us through using the lockers in the spa areas. She gave us her time by being patient and ensuring she provided us with an EXPERIENCE. I had Maggie as my massage therapist when I say she’s the BEST therapist I’ve had she is PHENOMENAL and so personable!!!! After we had our massages we had the pleasure to meet the Spa Director Jayme Bridge-Pass she followed up on our experience and literally walked around to show us the quiet room if we were interested in relaxing more. After showing us the quiet room she offered us something to drink as well as sharing with his upcoming promotions the spa would be having. I’ve been to a lot of spas and I can tell you not one time has a Director personally came out of their office to do ANYTHING but for her to take her time and personally talk to us won be over with that spa! Because of the spa we booked a 4 day stay and 2 days of an 80 minute massage. During that time I fell sick with a terrible cold literally 24 hours before check in time. I contacted the resort and of course grace wasn’t extended. We still went and checked in. We contracted the front desk and asked to speak with a manager and was told that we would have to stay all 4 days without being penalized as well as completing the spa services. My wife walked down and spoke with Jayme and let her know we were at the resort however I was sick and didn’t want to risk her staff getting sick. Jayme extended grace and allowed us to reschedule our massage appointment and protecting her staff without hesitation. This week tried the massage therapist Isaiah and he was absolutely phenomenal as well!!! I can’t brag on the spa enough!!! We live in Charlotte, NC and will continue to drive to Greensboro, NC as long as the spa is open just to have spa services. To be honest the spa area needs to be extended because of the phenomenal customer service they have, the phenomenal team they have and I’m sure with those combined that would open the door to the grow team as well offer new spa services!!! I hope that Jayme and her staff sees this review and I wish Jayme was the director of the property because she is compassionate and is truly understanding when things happen beyond our control.

- debbierC4224IH (10/5): Will return! - The rooms were spacious and the check in process great. We ate at the Finial several times and it was always great! David helped me with my luggage and was so very nice and helpful.
- Nailcutter (8/5): Nice stay at the Grandover - Came for a business meeting. Nice hotel with very nice facilities. Very good fitness center and spa. Rooms very nice as is bathroom. Free parking. Friendly staff.

- Claude (10/5): -
- Greg (10/5): Great - Customer service
- Barry (10/5): Wonderful, it was our first visit for 18 years and standard was still first class. - Had a nice meal in the Cafe on arrival, and a brief breakfast. Both times the staff were exceptional. Nothing

- Pezzolesi (5/5): Fine - The staff was very nice. They charge a resort fee. All I wanted to do it sit by a pool…which was out of commission. No hot tub or pool. The resort is very dated. You feel like you’re at the mall.
- Olivia (10/5): -
- Sheila (6/5): -
- Karen (10/5): Enjoyed our peaceful, comfortable stay with family. - Many places to relax in front of fire. Many areas to grab a bite to eat. Bartender at the lobby bar where we grabbed some food made the stay!! Additionally, security adds a level of comfort. They should ask those smoking various products to move away from front door and door by elevator. It just shouldn’t fill the building.
- Frederique Audrey (10/5): -
- Ruth (10/5): I came to rest and this place did not disappoint! My only complaint is the spa close at 5 and they have a wait list. So - Unique, peaceful and decorative Nothing, it was excellent
- Meghan (10/5): -
- Keith (10/5): -
- Sederia (7/5): Nice golf course and breakfast - The staff were nice. Needs a major upgrade to the rooms. The pictures on the wall were crooked. The price was ridiculous because no other hotel in the area to compete with.
- keata (10/5): -
- Jillian (8/5): Elegant, classy, timeless. - I loved the decorations. The staff was amazing. The room service breakfast was amazing. I’d like to visit again just for that alone. The spa was very nice, I will book with the resort and spa again. The resort is beautiful overall, there were just a few discrepancies that I noticed within the room itself. The shower did not drain properly so the water pooled quickly. There were some leftover hairs from a previous guest in the bathroom. The closet had marks from usage maybe suitcases hitting the walls, but I won’t blame the hotel itself, it’s possible that this was from other guests. The craftsmanship in the fixtures were off.
- Marie (8/5): -
- Heather (10/5): -
- Devaney (10/5): - Dinner was amazing, wait staff were super attentive
- Thomas (9/5): - Restaurant service was slow. Little pricey with all taxes and fees.

- Desire (10/5): - So beautiful and decorated so pretty for Christmas Everything was fabulous
- Larry (10/5): -
- Kim (10/5): - I love the Christmas decorations ! I also love the fireplaces. The room was a great size. I would love a couple of extra pillows in the closet to make choices about the level of support
- Tracy (10/5): -
- PaulB499 (10/5): A Wonderful, Elegant Destination - For a trip to visit relatives over holidays, someone recommended Grandover as a good place to stay. Wow, was it ever! We were awed by the elegant beauty of the lobby as soon as we arrrived & the entire experience over 4 days was outstanding. The room was perfectly clean & comfortable with a golf course view, service throughout the hotel was cheerful & prompt, and the restaurants were top notch! We’re so impressed that we will likely make another trip just to enjoy this great hotel again! A beautiful & outstanding resort hotel!
- Chambers (10/5): Extended 1 more night - Staff Pool
- Chambers (10/5): Lovely staff and views! - The beautiful up kept grounds! Pool was tad chilly. Still swam!
- gardnerrookie (10/5): Grandover Resort - The Grandover was a welcoming accommodation after a long drive. There was a restaurant inside the resort so there was no need to leave to find a place to eat. Delicious crab cakes and a glass of wine in the Finial Restaurant. I recommend.
- bestbet88 (10/5): Relaxation weekend - My weekend celebrating the importance of relaxation and friendship was everything. Jayme Bridges Pass, the spa director and her team provided next level service to over 100 women. No detail was missed. The relaxation room...double the size please. Jim, our golf instructor was golden. If you are looking for a girls trip big or small....let Jayme and the Grandover team curate your dream into reality. I'll be back soon!
- Jamaal (10/5): -
- Bassam (10/5): I would stay there every time I travel to Greensboro or High point - Best Hotel in Greensboro, clean and classic. Food was good not excellent.
- twhiteboyd (10/5): Love this hotel and spa! - I was there the 11/13-15 with the Girlfriends Inc. and had an amazing time. The hotel is beautiful and already decorated for Christmas. The staff was fantastic and the foos at Finial was delicious! I plan to go back.
- QCIvy (10/5): Jamye is a jewel! - Jamye Bridges-Pass provided next level, superior service and collaboration for our 120 women spa retreat. From inception thru final goodbye, she gave our group of women from across the nation an experience we will cherish forever. Special kudos to Spa Asst. Director Yasmine, spa technicians- Steven, Relada, Isaiah, Tyler, Christina and Nakia! Outstanding! Huge thank you to the bellmen team, but especially David and Zach (who we tried to adopt). Thank you to Terrence, our fave bartender, Lindsay (outstanding manager), Asia Moten (sales), LaTia Thompson (event lead), Jim Nemeti (golf pro) and the entire Grandover team! The Girl Friends had a blast!!

- gerwynb2025 (8/5): Great - Beautiful resort. Well Appointed. I would rate 5 stars; however, the staff (bartenders) were not friendly. Did not proactively offer a menu, or to take a drink order. There we 4 people at the bar total (including myself and husband), and was still not offered service. The bartender with dreads (fair skinned) seemed out off by lgbtq clientele. Atleast that is the impression that we collectively received. in addition, we attempted to order room service at 11pm and was told that room service was no available. After further investigation, we learned that security handles room service and were detained for another incident and delivery could not be promised. We were told to come downstairs to retrieve any food items we may want. Unacceptable.

- Meander42509190518 (10/5): Our Wedding - We are beyond grateful for Rebekah DeMarcantonio, our incredible wedding coordinator, who made our special day absolutely seamless. From the moment we arrived, her attentiveness and calm presence set the tone for a stress-free celebration. Her eye for detail was impeccable—every element was perfectly in place, and not a single issue arose at the venue.
Thanks to Rebekah’s expert coordination, everything flowed effortlessly and all we had to do was soak in the joy of the day. Our guests had a fantastic time, and we received so many compliments on how smooth and beautiful the wedding was. Rebekah truly went above and beyond, and we can’t thank her enough for helping bring our vision to life.

- Getaway56817938516 (2/5): Still Thinking About My Experience - Horrible - It has been a very long time since I traveled to this resort, but my last experience I will never forget it. It was my fiancé‘s birthday and we booked, I want to say 3 to 4 months in advance. We were looking forward to this weekend. We both needed some relax time together and a break from work. I wanted him to experience a great massage a great atmosphere a great vibe and just a great resort. I don’t really have any complaints about anything except for the massage that was the bulk of the price for the trip. It was a 60 minute couples massage and the lady who massaged me was scrolling on her phone the whole time, so I only got a one hand massage. You could hear her phone buzzing every moment because she was continuously getting notifications. She even dropped her phone during the massage so peaceful it was not. I was really upset. I did not even tip my masseuse and my fiancé stated he experience the same. For us to have paid as much as we paid and waited for this experience ….it really sucked. I have visited this resort every year for the past 6 years, but the very last experience I had I will never go there again. When we came back home, I booked a local masseuse that was just spectacular… to make up for our experience at this resort. To me I should not have had to do that.
- dawnalmon11 (10/5): First class resort - This is our second visit to Grandover. It is a first class resort! Bellman to welcome you and handle the luggage, gracious front desk, fine dining with professional wait staff, and fabulous golf course and pro shop. We love coming here on our way traveling to Florida. Thank you.
- Bridgette (8/5): -
- Joel (10/5): -
- Larry (9/5): Excellent accommodations and beautiful facility with superior service. - Superior Staff and Service. Breakfast: The coffee was luke warm and the Saturday buffet was substandard, except for the freshly made omelet which was very good. The gouda grits were stiff and barely warm. Also, the bacon was half-done.
- TeresaC550 (8/5): Surprisingly delightful spa afternoon - During our trip to North Carolina, we stayed in Greensboro area. We made reservations for a spa afternoon at the Grandover Resort & Spa, A Wyndham Grand Hotel. We were welcomed by Britney who gave us a tour our the facilities. We received rubs and sandals and we changed at the designed locker & change rooms. After we changed we visit the pool area ( indoors) and the hot tub. Unfortunately, the steam & sauna rooms are one side for the ladies and the other rooms are for the gentlemen. But you can use the relaxation room and the waiting room together as a couple.
After spending 2 hrs using the amenities it was our time for the massage. My husband got the deep tissue and I received the volcanic massage ( hot stones). We had a great time. Later we received a glass of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary trip.
The areas are clean and well maintained . We love the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. Thank you.
- Alice (10/5): - The resort was wonderful except for the rain shower heads which were placed in a bad location to be able to take a quick shower without getting your hair soaked. They need to replace them with ones that are more practical.
- Foster (10/5): My staycation here was amazing!!! Highly recommend spa services during your stay - Everything!! So relaxing N/a
- Leigh (10/5): - Great for families. Entire game room downstairs with a cafe / our kids remember that most!
- 898meaganh (10/5): Great stay for a quick family trip - We had a great recent experience at the Grandover! We took our 2 year old and 2 month old for a trip to the Asheboro zoo and the Greensboro Children’s museum. Our stay at the Grandover was phenomenal! All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Charles Graham who went above and beyond! Our toddler loved the pool and the grounds to run around, and the restaurants and coffee shop on site made it incredibly convenient with kids. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Greensboro!
- Sean (10/5): - Room was nice,impressive
- William (10/5): Excellent Service - Very clean and the food was excellent.
- James (10/5): - Wonderful getaway - nice rooms, golf, spa, fine dining, warm and friendly service.
- Talitha (9/5): Beautiful, clean, lots to do on the property and the staff was nice and professional. - The hotel is beautiful upon entering. There was live music at the bar near the restaurant which was nice to listen to during dinner. They also had karaoke at their other bar, it was really fun. I love that there are multiple bars on site, with different activities that can accommodate everyone. The price of the steak was more than listed on the menu, and we weren’t aware until we received our check. Also, we were double charged for a night, in which we weren’t aware until we got home and looked at our bank statement. We had to contact the hotel to get it reimbursed which took a while.
