Horace (10/5): My stay was enjoyable - The property was centrally located close to shopping Beach and restaurants I really love the facility . Access was easy and the host was easily available..
Ralph (10/5): Very nice property. Had everything we needed. - was very large and comfortable. Large kitchen with all appliances. A/C worked well in the bedroom. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. Pool area was very nice. It was a 15-20 walk to beach, town, restaurant. If you have walking disability it could be a bit difficult, but it is easy to get a taxi for $5.00.

Marsha (9/5): Very relaxing and homey atmosphere.. Jan is lovely - No breakfast but The apartment is lovely clean and comfy. The proximity to the beach is great also walking distance to Speightstown is muy convenient. Surprisingly quiet for a place so close to the road. All in all a great experience and property
Larry (6/5): Good but disappointing. - The apartment was spacious, clean, and well furnished and equipped. The host has thought of everything that a guest might need. The apartment and its residential neighborhood were quiet and parking on the street was easy. The host was very good at meeting us and explaining everything we needed to know about access and use of the apartment. I was disappointed that the property did not measure up to the photo in the listing. Be aware that you might not get one of the apartments overlooking the pool. Ours had no view of anything, although we could walk around to the pool area. The pool itself was not inviting looking. The host said it had been treated recently, but the water looked murky. The apartment was not in easy walking distance of a beach or restaurants. The bathroom was nice, but the water never got hotter than lukewarm. Be aware of the Airbnb-like cleaning fee that raises the daily cost quite a bit for a short stay.

Cath (10/5): Fun, energising stay in the ideal location with fantastic hosts! - Everything was great - greeted on arrival, shown around and made to feel very welcome. Jan and her team answered all of our questions and helped to make our stay fantastic. The breakfasts were delicious and Jan was flexible with timings to work around the family and our plans. Location was ideal - short walk to the beach and shops. No improvements needed, we loved our stay.

Charles (9/5): Wonderful - Our fridge was stocked with breakfast items upon arrival which was very helpful and convenient. We were greeted warmly by a staff member when we arrived and all through our stay, the owners were frequently present and always accessible for assistance or just conversation! We also enjoyed socializing with the people who were staying in the adjacent apartments. Sungold is a very laid back and friendly place.

Annette (8/5): A sunny, fun and relaxing stay with responsive hosts - just what the doctor ordered! - We loved the proximity to fabulous Heywoods Beach and the short walk into Speightstown. We liked that there was a small pool for a dip. We appreciated the regular cleaning. The 3-bed apartment was plenty big enough and we loved being able to sit on the verandah. Excellent air con and fans. Lots of storage and hangers. Super-friendly and super-responsive owners who helped with transfers, car hire and problem solving. Small things: we would have preferred cotton linen on the beds especially in a hot climate. The second bathroom could do with an update and the water pressure can be a problem.

The apartment was spacious, clean and has everything you could need. The location is excellent, across the road from the beautiful Heywoods beach and within waking distance to bars and restaurants.

In a good location and pool was lovely . Lovely lady and staff who owns property. Nice to have the beach chairs to take out for the day. I thought I had booked a room with a terrace/ balcony but I hadn’t . But we could go and have our breakfast round the pool.

A large balcony and spacious living area, location was very close to the beach and great connections to other areas of the island, local transport was easy . Fab The bed in my room in front of the window and no headboard, the pillows were very thick but these were very minor things
Nurse (9/5): The special little hideaway in the heart of Speightown. - I love this property. The owner was a gem. Janlyn was so accommodating as we had missed flights dates change she really help us figure it out and enjoy a great family vacation Anniversary/ Birthday celebration. Lovely place my mother-in-law loved it.

Asha (5/5): Passable - Very pleasant staff, nice rooms, ac works well. Very nice apartment. Overall a really nice experience. Pool needs to be maintained and cleaned, if you are a couple keep in mind if you pay for two rooms you only get one. Doorknobs lock us in and out a couple times.
