- Gregory (10/5): A peaceful getaway in a gem of a suburban hotel. - This is a very luxurious suburban hotel with a sophisticated design that includes one of the most gracious inviting lobbies I’ve ever seen in a midrange hotel in the burbs. It’s a bit isolated but close to Wallingford and the major CT highways.

- Brenda (10/5): Perfect experience! - Hotel and room were clean. Probably the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in. Loved the blackout curtains. And the bed was very comfortable. Service was excellent. Especially the cleaning staff and front desk associates. A few hours after we checked out, I realized I had left my wedding ring in the room and when I went back to the hotel, they had found it for me! They were so helpful and actually happy to help me! There were some men working in the hotel. One of them was rude to my son when he was on the elevator. It wasn’t a huge deal, but my son was upset about it.

I needed to check out 2 days early, confirmed with the front desk, and then was still billed for an additional 2 days. Then upon calling the hotel to correct the error, I was hung up on and pushed to a general operator. No other way to describe it other than robbery.

You couldn’t even stay in the water long enough to enjoy it and also the pool was extremely cold.

There are large areas that are well lit and inviting. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing!

- PZFLY (8/5): A Decent Yet Typical Corporate Hotel - We enjoyed a clean room and staff friendly three day stay. The hotel was busy as it hosted members of a least two weddings going on the weekend we were there. The center of Wallingford is about a ten minute drive loaded with restaurant choices. In the hotel itself, guests can enjoy a pool, a basic workout room, very good breakfast (not included btw) and food and drink in a casual atmosphere after 5 pm. There are lots of outdoor seating areas weather permitting. One word of caution should you choose cocktail hour at the hotel bar are the exorbitant prices that can rival 5 star hotels. Yes, a light beer was $9. Mixed drinks, well it depends. In our experience, a certain bartender, Kevin, could be heard asking every patron if they wanted a double. Most people in the spirit of the moment will say "sure". What you get is not a true double but a drink with top shelf spirits like Tito's. Cost: $19 per drink. Do the math, two light beers and two vodka club for example will run you $57. A bit out of line for this type of establishment in our opinion and the only disappointment of our stay.

- Philippa (10/5): - Great hotel for business and leisure conveniently situated and quiet despite being on the major road in and out of town. Parking is plentiful, staff terrific and the bar is a hoot. Food is also very good for on the fly meals.
- Mark (8/5): - Buyer Beware, especially ADA buyer ! Our King Sized Bed was quite high from the ground, I needed my wife's help to get into and out of bed. I almost slept on the couch. Couldn't get past bed with my wheelchair, my chair is only 24" in width. Main room phone was dead. Advertised Restaurant and In-Room Dining. Actually the bar was their bar, restaurant, and despite advertising Room Service, that was not offered. The bar had bar food and many food options on the limited menu were not available. Every Hilton Garden I have ever stayed at offered a buffet breakfast, usually at no cost, but worth it even if you have to pay. Not this one. All seats in the bar were bar stools, which is awkward as they are too high to have a conversation with when someone is in a wheelchair. One would have to go pick up food at the bar if one ordered "In Room Dining". We were disillusioned so we ended up ordering dinner thru UberEats and met driver in lobby. Despite being advertised, Vending machines did not exist. My room was advertised to be an ADA room, but there was not a single grab-bar in the room or bathroom. Room had no glasses, not even plastic cups. Toilet was low, grab-bar would have been required. No seat or grab-bar in walk-in shower, so unusable for me. This room had NO accessories for a person with a disability. Our room was on the 5th floor, had there been an emergency, I could not have used the elevator and would have been left for dead. ADA Rooms are on floor 1.

- SharonV301 (8/5): If you have asthma or react to strong smells avoid - Hotel room was clean but dated and there was a strong smell of floral spray in the lobby, hallways and elevator. If you react easily to smells or have asthma you will definitely want to avoid. We try to stay at Home2 Suites but they were sold out so I expected the hotel to be dated. I will say the sheets and towels were soft and white and the shower was clean but I wouldn’t walk around in bare feet. Did not try breakfast but it was not free.

- Andrew (6/5): - This property was nice, I like the more modern and clean look, very safe and friendly. With that said everything was fine till we got to our room and tried to brush our teeth. There was definitely something wrong with the water lines. We ran the water and about 20 seconds in you could hear pipes kicking and the water was cut, now mind you it was 10:30-11pm so we weren’t trying to be rude to our neighbors. Not to mention the shower same issue. Then when I brought it up to the front desk in the morning, they asked about my card and confirmed that they had it if anything comes up, and I was like it better not be put on my card this was preexisting and I walked out. Outside of that it was alright.
