- Nicole (10/5): Adorable , clean , inviting , welcoming host - When arriving we had already booked a campsite but our tent broke in the strong winds. We were soaked without a tent and tired. We looked up places ti sleep near by and found this cottage. We seen it had a bed and a shower and at this point that’s all we wanted. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner. He chatted with us about where we were from once he heared how our night was and that we were going to go get food. He grabbed a large map. Circled destination points , circled camp grounds close by, explained what areas were good for tourist attentions. Suggested a restaurant close by. Upon entering our room we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room , cleanliness, and brightness. It was very cute and welcoming. It had everything you could think of and more. Microwave , tea kettle , toaster , hot plate , utensils, kitchen sink with soap, tv, large couch , small table with two chairs , large comfortable bed, bathroom with a full size fridge and freezer, blow dryer , broom , nice shower. A nice deck attached with table and chairs as well as a bbq. Close to other tourist attractions but tucked away enough to feel like your camping. I’d highly recommend this place and If the future ever allows we’ll be returning loved it all

Handy to Charlottetown and Summerside. The cabins need some more attention .Decks could be pressure washed and brighten up some. Patio chairs could use some improvements. Overall, clean and comfortable and Dwight is always a pleasure. The low toilets in the cabin.

Our cabin was clean, furnished, cozy, and had everything we needed already (including a can opener and pizza cutter) Dwight is so knowledgeable and friendly, and his love for the business and the area shine through. The ease and proximity to any major attraction and beach is deceiving by how quiet this property is. Truly, we will never book and stay anywhere else on all of PEI

- Allan (8/5): A most memorable stay. - N/A I know the expense of linen. However the mattress cover’s sides are mesh and sheets will slip. I believe the mattresses were 16 inches and the cornered sheets were/are sized for shorter sides. They didn’t stay snug on the bed corners at all. No lids for pots. Great shower! Excellent size fridge (very nice). It was a fun challenge to do the dishes in the adorable little sink. The cupboard above though made that task rather difficult. If I may make a suggestion: cut the cabinet to the next shelf up and free up headspace at the sink. Make it a narrower wall shelf for tea towels or other. Summer staff have a lot to do I know, I was one. I was a chamber maid in London England back in the seventies I also worked for Inn on the Park /4 Season hotels. Dwight is a charming man. I hope my partner Allan Dobby and I will return soon for a stay and take Dwight along with his wife to Pedro’s for dinner on our return. Thank you for your many visited suggestions. 🦋JoAnne Mitchell
- Mathias (9/5): Second time visiting, there will be a third and fourth time in the future. - This was our second visit to the property. The owner, Dwight is a wonderful owner and he always makes sure you have everything you need. He is always around and available. The cabins are comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for visiting North Rustico. You can walk into town, and the town has everything you need. There is even an American Crow on the property, that welcomes you by saying "Hello". That Crow was there the last time we were at the property, 3 years ago. I don't really have anything negative to say.

Our small cabin was comfy, with nice old wood paneling. Great little community to stay in - boardwalk, docks, restaurants, shore drives, a great ice cream shop, and more.
- Robert (10/5): - We booked these accommodations based on the positive reviews we read on the internet. The host/owner greeted us upon arrival as if he had known us for years. We stepped into a homey little cabin complete with a comfy king size bed, mini (well-equipped) kitchen, full size fridge, big TV, plenty of chairs and a BBQ on the deck. The cabin was very clean and bright. There is also a laundry room near the office. Dwight, the owner, is the 5th generation to live on the land where the motel is situated. He has a vast knowledge of the area and endless stories of his heritage. It’s 100% guaranteed our next trip to PEI will be spent with Dwight and family at this home away from home.

Cottage was what we expected and pleased with it. 4 adults and our dog were very comfortable. lots of grounds to walk the dog on. Thanks so much for everything. We had never stayed in North Rustico had only driven through. We hope to return soon. It's a gem.
- Adino (9/5): Cozy chalet stay in a quiet beautiful area - Dwight, owner, was helpful in all regards. Met us at the front desk as we pulled in. He was able to give tons of suggestions including the oceanview lookout nearby. The property at the back had a large green space so our dog could run around. The chalet was quiet and roomy. The room didn't have any shampoo. Soap provided was also very small.

His recommendations, welcoming energy, and stories were a highlight of our trip. The cottages are cozy, personal, and have a fantastic view of the ocean. Also, a great little kitchen and really nice mattresses! The location is easy to find, easy to get to, and easy to travel from being somewhat in between most PEI attractions. Overall, a great choice for families and solo travel. We even stayed two extra nights! All good-nothing to note!

The room was more like an apartment.It was spacious, extremely clean and one of the most comfortable beds ever. It was quiet and peaceful and warm and cosy. My favorite thing about cottage 17 was that the porch was built around a large tree. Would definitely stay again.

- Shannon (10/5): Great little cabin. - We stayed with our 2 dogs in the open concept king room (#17). They are designed like little rustic cabins, with a mini kitchenette and a full bathroom! The rooms themselves looked modern and more up to date than some of the older pictures on here. This is definitely a smaller business/operation and you can tell they do some of the DIY themselves but that’s okay! It adds charm and that’s part of the enjoyment of staying at smaller places and not chains. The room had good solid wifi, good air conditioning and heating, the bed was comfy the shower worked great, good pressure. They had cable tv and a smart tv with streaming apps! There was an almost full sized fridge which was great! Normally you just get teeny tiny little mini fridges. We did have an incident where one of our dogs got a hold of the blanket on the bed and started to chew it. We went straight to the front desk and they were so nice and charged a very reasonable rate to replace the blanket they didn’t try to gouge us, and they were super understanding and clearly animal people so it was just a great experience over all! They also recommended great places to eat when we checked in! The bed was comfy! We always bring our own pillows while travelling. But they did have 2 different kinds available. So that’s nice! Overall very quiet area and lots of privacy. Very happy with our stay!
