Guest Reviews
- Wayne (2/5): - Completely unstaffed on Saturday. Carpet old and dirty, bathroom and shower very small. Extremely overpriced for what we got!
- CHARLES (10/5): - Quaint little motel
- EMILY (10/5): - Great clean property near everything . Less than a mile from weirs beach . Super clean and safe
- Mary (8/5): Okay for short stsy - Unit was clean, no maid service & if you needed towels replaced, had to go to front desk to get them, no telephone in unit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location was nice. Rooms were clean and small pool was nice. A bit noisy because it's right by the main road.
- Catherine (10/5): Winnipesauke Motel - Excellent experience at this hotel. My granddaughter and I had a great time
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Road noise, no atmosphere to sit outside our room. No ice machine. No bathroom vent fan.
- Jacqueline (6/5): Probably will not stay again - Hosts were wonderful. Very dated hotel. Small shower stall, noisy plumbing, could hear snoring through the wall, but well maintained. Issues were addressed immediately.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very clean.. she gave us a nice quiet room in the back.. the pool looked very nice and clean.. it was raining so we weren't able to use it... the lady who runs the motel was very nice..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The company!!
- Douglas (8/5): Quiet and cute - During our stay there seemed to be only one other room being occupied, so very quiet stay. The motel room was small, but very comfortable and had a horse theme to the room. Very cute. Owner was accommodating and helpful.
- Douglas (8/5): Lake Winnipesaukee Motel - Everything was great!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a lovely motel, who's owners take pride in.
My room was spotless. Not a rogue hair or crumb to be found.
Upon booking, the manager saw that I was a solo female traveler, so she put me in a room right next to the office. It was a very sweet gesture.
My only complaint is the smoking areas in front of the rooms. I had my door window opened for a short time, but had to close it when a neighbor lit up.
- rieng (2/5): Scary old motel - I got there at 130 pm and check in was at 2. There was no one at the front desk. It was closed for whatever reason. A lady came up to me and told me the room wasn’t going to be ready until another hour or so. And said I had to leave and couldn’t hang around here because of covid. I got a call at 330 when the room was ready, and hour and half late. I checked in at 530 since I was entertaining my daughter. I got there, No one was there still at the front desk until a guy found a lady to give me my key. The room was small and smelled old and moldy. The refrigerator was barely cold. The shower nobs all fell off when my daughter tried to take a shower. The hotel was not very welcoming as no one was there. It was not friendly place and it was really scary to say the least. I was very uncomfortable and showered and left. I didn’t even stay the night and decided to drive home instead of even staying there. That was how uncomfortable I was at this motel. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who is traveling with a child. This hotel gave me the chills. Sorry I felt this way
- Kristin (10/5): Great for the Money - I'm always leery when it comes to small motels. This one was great. No Frills, but I wasn't looking for them. Just a clean room, in great shape and a decent bed. I would stay here again.
- Wendy (10/5): - Great location, close to everything. Quaint, very clean and wonderful host.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice overnight stay. - We needed a mental health weekend not too far from home in a rural picturesque area.
It has been a while since we spent time in the White Mountains.
The motel was uniquely situated and was a fine evening stay.
The owner obviously takes care of the motel and the flower plantings were gorgeous.
- Denise (10/5): - Loved the owner. She was very welcoming. I will return again this season.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was like stepping back 25 years but clean and well equipped. The ambiance was refreshing and I had a very restful night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Small room & bathroom. Okayish amenities. Not value for money. Thin walls, Can easily hear people talking from adjacent rooms.
- Alice (10/5): - The price was great and the room very clean thr location was good everything wasonly 10-20 minutes away
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a great place to stay and very close to the concert at Bank of NH Pavilion that we saw.
- Denise (8/5): - Owners were friendly, check in was easy, rooms was small but hey, who spends that much time in the room. Very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Superb location! Close to everything we needed and more. Plesant and very accommodating staff, no frills comfort and convenience. Nice pool area too. Will definitely go back- Shannon
- Verified traveler (8/5): Just what we needed - Was very cozy and comfortable. Perfect for a 2 night get-away from everything! Really helped us wind down.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved the space in the family cabins, the pool, and the firepit. I especially loved that all the guests were respectful at night things were fun and relaxing too! Great place. Super friendly staff.
- charlesgreen (10/5): - very clean and great service super clean pool
would defenitly stay there ago
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was located in a very convenient spot for us. My daughter was camping down the street so it was very easy for us to come and go as we please. It was very close to a Cumberland farms and waffle house that I highly recommend. Inside the room it had a refrigerator and microwave the bed was very comfortable a flatscreen TV. The only thing It didn’t have was a hairdryer inside the bathroom. We also loved the pool . We would definitely go back next year.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We found this on the site hotels..com, it is not new but it was very comfortable and clean. Only a few miles from the Bank of New Hampshire pavilion. We would stay again.
- Sarah (8/5): - The owners and staff are very courteous, available and very helpful. Always work for the benefit of their customers. Motel is quiet and very clean. Any issues are addressed immediately.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was great they let me check in early Quaint old time decor
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and the owners are very helpful and friendly I’ll definitely be staying here next time I am up at Lake Winni!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the "old" feel to the room. Very nice, clean and right near to the concert venue. Staff waa great and quiet too. Only issue was the wifi but overall great place.
- Dave (10/5): - clean ,friendly, and good location everything i was looking for
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff onsite was very friendly and helpful! Very quiet, clean, and peaceful room!
- Alex (10/5): - Great owners, great location, nice themed clean room
- Renee (10/5): A must stay for a motel - I was sceptical at first because I typically would stay at a chain hotel, but the location didn't allow for such. I read alot of reviews before making a decision on which motel to stay at. I'm soooo glad we chose this one based on other reviews. I understand them now. The owners are what makes this place so special. We will definitely be back to see them. We had a room with 1 queen size bed. They are small, but quaint and cozy. There is a mini fridge, microwave and a Keurig in the room. In the bathroom it's just a shower meaning no tub. There is a hair dryer which was something I didn't remember reading so I brought one just in case, also normal toiletries such as conditioning shampoo and soap. The pool was amazing and they have actual beach towels at the pool. For a motel setting, we couldn't possibly rave enough about the owners.
- TRAVIS (6/5): Not Perfect - Took 25 minutes to check in, yes we were the only ones checking in. The staff never came the next day to re make the bed & clean the bathroom until after 5pm! We had to pack up and go out hours before we needed to. Hallway to the room had a bad odor of beer and urine, Front door only opens with a lot of force do they ask not to fully close it, real safe. We would not go back. We were really disappointed...after seeing 8.8 review out of 10. Actually they were nice, but seemed out of their element to run the establishment. One employee couldn't figure out the credit card machine...come to find out...IT WAS UNPLUGGED and they finally got someone who could do it on a cell phone after 25 minutes had passed.
- Thom (10/5): Delightful Place To Stay - The staff was very friendly and accomodating and the room was lovely. They even upgraded our room on account that we were celebrating our anniversary. The only trouble we had was accessing the wifi. We were told what it was, but the wifi didn't appear on our phones when we searched.
- Cecelia (10/5): - Very sweet and quiet clean friendly nice place homey everything you need for an overnite area was good
- John (8/5): - Nice place but road noise high. Room nice and clean. No problem.
- Richard (8/5): - Good value old but nice Reasonable and close to attractions
- Robert (10/5): - New owners are a great couple and very accommodating.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The couple who run this place are wonderful people! Very friendly and accomodating. They alone made this a wonderful expieriance. My room was extremely clean. However, the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in other rooms.
- bill (6/5): - Nothing outstanding
Needs a little updating
Nothing else to say
- Chris (6/5): If I could leave a 3.5 star review I would. - The motel is small and cute, has comfort commensurate to its relative inexpensiveness, and is a great place to crash at the end of a day of exploring the surrounding area. The walls are thin, however, which led to our one problem with the place:
The problem we had was with other people's noise after posted "Quiet Hours," (in this case, over 2 hours after the Quiet Hours began at 10pm) and the fact that the staff did not respond when called to deal with said noise. Please don't post in your rooms that we should "call anytime" if you're not going to answer the phone. The message I left on their voicemail that night wasn't the nicest thing I've ever left, and for that I am honestly sorry, but the policy is pretty clear, and was not enforced in any way.
The front office was not open when we checked out at 7am the following morning (check out consisting of a cardboard box attached to their front door for you to drop your key in.) I would've appreciated at least some sort of follow up call from the staff but we've received nothing in the last 48 hours.
If you're a light sleeper, you might want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, it was a great place for a quick couple of days.
- Raymond (10/5): Adorable Canary Yellow Motel - Absolutely loved this motel! It was so bright & cheery, room was an adorable fish motif, very clean, supportive & comfortable mattress, good location. Wish I had time to go to the pool as it looked very inviting! The owners were very nice and accommodative, would stay there again in a heartbeat!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good stuff, not too much space but everything you need, for the price, no complaints
- Anthony (10/5): Nice place. Very close to Meadowbrook - The Hotel was perfect place for our needs. Very clean, cute rooms.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice old fashioned new England place
