Duatlon sur le site ce matin donc environ une centaine de personnes qui envahissent le site sans jamais avoir été mis au courant par l’hôtel malgré mes quelques appels. Impossible d’aller se baigner à la plage ou pratiquer sport nautique comme le kayak. Après discussion avec la réception pour leur faire part de notre mécontentement, on se fait dire d’aller à la piscine!!! Jamais d’excuses de leur part. Vraiment décevant d’être traité ainsi surtout pour le prix payé. Manque de respect de la personne au service à la clientèle.

lourdes (10/5): - The chalet was big enough to cover 10-12ppl. It was nice and cozy with the fireplace. The place is clean and there’s a lot of cutlery to use. We wanna go tubing but it is closed on that day so we end up swimming in the pool. The water in the pool is warm and nice. We did enjoy staying and we will go back again hopefully next year:)

Sebastien (4/5): Je n'y retournerai plus - Lit méga inconfortable au condo B-203 au point où nous avons préféré repartir à la maison au lieu de coucher là une autre nuit. Télévision brouillée, wifi qui rentre mal, ... Par contre, la propreté est impeccable et l'emplacement idéal. La réception fermait à 18h et aucun service après !!

Second room in the condo was disappointing. Claimed 2 queen beds but only the master room had a queen. Kitchen was well equipped.

Verified traveler (6/5): - Clean and well equipped,for self service guest.Generally staff was friendly but understaffed( I guess due to Covid)During a busy weekend the hotel Resturant was fully booked, there was only one serveuse( Kimberly) who served with a smile and did excellent job of tending the bar and the tables.Rooms on ground floor lack privacy, see through curtains on front glass door and large side windows, one could hear the guest above walking, poor sound proofing. Rude call from front desk insisting to vacate the room, by 11am even though the check in time was 4pm.
Janine (10/5): - The place was clean and bright. They have everything you need in the kitchen. It was such a peaceful and relaxing place to be. I highly recommend if you want to stay in, drink hot chocolate and snuggle during winter. The wifi was, unfortunately, very slow, but we used our data, which was sufficient for us because we have unlimited data. However, if you need to connect to high-speed internet, their wifi won’t cut it.

Vanessa (8/5): - We were there for a wedding. We had the Condo de la plage. Super close to everything. Clean. The only thing is that for the price, it felt as there was absolutely no soundproofing with the unit over us. The people upstairs did not party or were too loud, they were just doing normal people would do: walking, talking, moving chairs, and although we couldn’t hear an entire conversation, we could hear them talk, walk, eat. Beside this, we loved the spot!

I❤️Canada (10/5): Excellent Stay - We stayed here one night. Our room was a two floor condo with a fully functional kitchen and laundry. Great value for the amenities that were offered. Five minutes outside of St Donat. Lots of skiing, skating, x country skiing and snowmobiling around. Check in/out was seemless. Dinner was delicious with attentive waitstaff. Everything was super clean. The view was amazing over looking a lake and a mountain. Would come back here again. My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Hotel says 4 stars. I would give it five.

Jennifer (8/5): Clean and comfortable - The receptionists are welcoming, helpful and friendly. While clean and comfortable, the rooms are oddly configured. The hotel itself is a bit isolated so the activities are limited to the immediate surroundings. This is not a destination resort but it is fine for a weekend or family reunion.

Verified traveler (2/5): Very poor customer service. - This hotel closes reception at 8 pm and you cant reach reception after this hour. It would be good to know in a more obvious manner at time of booking. It is written in small print at the bottom of Hotel Facts and you have to click through. I called to make sure they were keeping my room for a late check in and they only called me back the next day. No one was available to take my calls that evening. They left a message same day at 4 pm to advise me but reception didn't work and I only got it the next day. They should make this more obvious and call customers to advise 48 hours before, not same day 4 hours before closing the desk. When I called to discuss it they were only interesting in defending their own position, not understanding mine. This might be an indication of how they treat customers in general.

Family (8/5): Nice spot for an extended weekend - The location is great: quiet, private lake, canoes, kayaks and even a paddle board to take out, hiking direct from the hotel. St Donat is worth a visit as well. Service has some room to improve and cleanliness of our unit was below our expectation.
bernard (8/5): Nice hotel with beautiful view - Hotel is beautiful, inviting. Nice view of the lake and mountains. Wifi in the room is slow. Floor and microwave were dirty. Vacuum is not available in the room to clean floors. Dishwasher was smelly. We enjoyed our stay we may come back again.

However we managed to communicate well enough to understand each other and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a chalet which was clean and worked well with five people in our party. Tremblant and sauveur ski hills were about a 50 minute drive from the grand R. We would have liked to be closer to these hills.

P (8/5): Quiet, scenic getaway - The resort was somewhat difficult to find on our GPS as it is still 'under construction' in some areas. Front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful. Helen went above and beyond to make sure I had my morning coffee :) Beautiful scenery, great for watching the sunset on the newly built deck area. Menu for lunch is very small. Not much choice for vegetarians and a little pricey for what you get. Pool is great! Change rooms are easy access with showers but no soap or shampoo dispensers so bring your own! Gorgeous view from the indoor swimming pool to the Quebec landscape. Chalet was clean and well stocked. Bbq would have been a nice addition :) Overall a wonderful experience!!
