Guest Reviews
- William (8/5): - I spent the night before a hike. Good location. Quiet, clean, comfortable, good value. Please replace the fan in unit 24. The noise was awful, and the only thing that bothered me.
- Scott (10/5): -
- Tone (9/5): Next time in Gorham, I will stay in the same Inn. -
- richard (4/5): - Nicely appointed, clean, convenient Bed was not sleep able, hardly slept.
- Judith (10/5): -
- Robthetraveller (6/5): Great location, friendly owner and close to Sunday River resort and Mount Washington - Owner was very kind and friendly Price

- Judith (10/5): - The location, it’s in the middle of tons of restaurants, plus Walmart , Dollar Tree. The room was very clean, and cozy!! I’ve already booked for my next stay.
- CHRISTIE (8/5): -
- Judith (10/5): -
- Susan (6/5): Fine if you like cold showers and don't mind lack of bathroom privacy - Bed was comfortable, everything clean. No hot water. Water for shower was luke warm and ran out after less than 5 minutes. Mini-blind in the bathroom was broken (actually shredded and unusable). Without working blinds there was only a sheer curtain covering the bathroom window. There were people grilling in the yard outside my bathroom window the first night, so I could not turn the bathroom light on (or everybody would have seen everything).
- Ashley (10/5): - Always clean and a comfy bed Nothing
- Mackenzie (4/5): Old, but reasonbly clean, Terrible WiFI - The place is old, but reasonably clean. Didn't hate it but glad we only stayed one night. We stayed at 6 different places over the week of our trip and this was the worst. Not terrible, but not great. The worst thing was the WiFi that was like the early days of hotel wifi as more guests arrived and tried to get online, the service got worse and worse until it was useless.
- Debra (7/5): Older facilities but comfortable and accommodating. - Clean, accommodated all our needs. The microwave and refrigerator were very helpful. It was also nice to have a desk/chair and armchair to sit in. The mattress sloped to the middle.
The bathroom window didn’t open.
The shower plumbing is not very efficient.
- David (6/5): - Bed was terrible! Soft with U-shaped.mattress. Had a sore back the next day. Cleanliness was fine.
- Annie (10/5): My hiking 48 peaks at Northern peaks hotel.. - Staff there was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be back again i hike the whites and the prices are very reasonable..its just what I need comfortable not fancy..it was perfect after hiking.. Nothing really I have no complaints..the only thing I dislike is if we get in late from hiking and no one in office..the first time I stayed there 2 years ago somone took our keys and used our room we left because no one awnserd.. so we had to drive a long ways to find a vacant hotel..that was hard everything was booked so I almost didn't come back but really glad I did things happen and I hope it never happens again..
- Richard (8/5): - All very good. The only blip in service was what appeared to be an internet outages this morning. It came on eventually, but too late to do me any good.
- Jeremy (8/5): -
- Traci (5/5): - Friendly staff and clean The bed was very uncomfortable
- JYWJYW (7/5): -
- Hansen-Lane (10/5): - Our room.was very clean and pleasantly arranged with comfortable space. It was quiet and comfortable after a day of hiking. Very accommodating manager. Nothing!
- William (7/5): Nice place to stay for the money. - Convenient location and a good value. Nice room for the money. A little dated.
- FAUSTO (8/5): Consigliato x Mount Washington -
- Humphrey (5/5): worked for what we needed for the night. - The facility is old and rundown and needs renovation, but for an inexpensive stop over, it was ok. The bathroom could have been larger, updated, with a little more cleaning.
- Joseph S (10/5): - Ok, good value
- yves (7/5): -
- Roger (6/5): -
- Stacy (7/5): Great value location - Good for the price.
Room clean although some items outdated.
Great A/C heat unit. Quiet.
Excellent location. No hair dryers.
- Stefan (8/5): - Room was good, hot water took a while to get to the shower, which was smaller than one in a RV. Good place just needs a few refinements
- Christopher (8/5): Overall great value! - Clean room, quiet place Appears maybe difficult to get staff if needed
- Parry (8/5): Glad we stayed - It was a good value. Our room had a few slants/dips in the floor. Not a game changer in any way, just a little annoying.
- Yvonne (9/5): Met expectations! - Location
- Yvonne (9/5): Perfect for a one night stay - Location, clear instructions re check in, cleanliness
- Javier (9/5): -
- Haley (10/5): - Clean room. Good size room. Mini fridge and microwave. Wish there was more lighting.
- Johannes (8/5): Alles in ordnung. Gerne wieder. - Nettes Personal. Saubere Zimmer.
- Johanne (8/5): -
- Yingyi (10/5): -
- Joshua (8/5): - Room wasn’t much to look at but I’m not picky. Plus it was relatively cheap, $100 a night on a Saturday in August. Room was clean, staff was super friendly, cold ac, hot shower, I was pleased with my stay for the price.
- Kenneth (8/5): -
- Georgiana-Elena (9/5): Convenient - Great value for money
- Caleb (6/5): - Easy to park and get to room, nice couch Hard to get hot water, shower was small
- Perry (10/5): I’ll stay here again - Basic motel, nothing fancy. Clean, quiet.
- Michele (1/5): Nope. - Location was great. Bed was comfy. Fridge and freezer nice and big. I completely messed up our reservation and they were super nice and accommodating. Floor was so dirty I washed my feet each night before getting into bed. Hot tub not working. On night one, something 100% skittered across the ceiling on the tiles (chipmunk? squirrel?) It was super late so we kind of pretended it didn't happen. I hiked the next day and thought I was having a weird reaction to mosquitoes. Now I feel certain they were bed bug bites. The shower was also either scalding or freezing. Overall, I won't be back.
- David (8/5): -
- Dale (7/5): A very good experience overall - Microwave and refrigerator in the room. Good A/C The place is dated, but very clean
- Ann (8/5): - Price is excellent. Property is beginning to show its age. Had an issue with the door/lock - owner came over immediately and fixed it right up. Friendly staff.
- Ken (7/5): No frills, practical, budget minded motel for over-night stay offering clean and well appointed room - It's a no-frills, low-key, pocket-book friendly motel. Room is small and the decor is outdated BUT it's clean, functional, and the A/C works. Check-in was quick and efficient with a friendly staff. The parking is right outside of the room making unloading and unloading the luggage a breeze. There are two restaurants and a convivence store across the road. The bed is comfortable. My wife loves the low height comfy chair in the room. There are adequate power outlets for us to power the CPAC machine, laptop, and charge my phone & E-Book. Would be nice if there is coffee and quick breakfast items offered in the morning. A coffee maker and mug would be nice. A mug would at least allow me to heat up the water to make my own coffee/tea. I understand it will add to the price but I'm willing to pay a few more bucks for the convenience myself. The location is bit remote and not close to major Interstate Highway so prepared for a lot of slower secondary roadway driving to get to the motel.
- Bruce (8/5): - Bed was a bit soft on one side but overall comfortable.
- Perry (10/5): Basic motel, met my needs. I'll stay here again. -
- Ben (9/5): Will be back! - The guy running the front desk is very friendly. My room on the second floor appeared to be updated and was really nice. Parking at this motel is easy and is a close walk to downtown restaurants and even fly fishing! This place is fairly priced compared to some of the other mountain towns in New Hampshire.
- Christopher (2/5): - 3 hours of riding a notorcycle from Halifax, NS, i was left without a room. I tried 4 places, all with no vacancy, prior to finally finding a place to stay.
I WAS NOT HAPPY!
- Tidawan (10/5): - Very nice place and reasonable price would definitely come again
- Ben (8/5): Will come again! - The location was great and this motel is priced very fairly. The room was comfortable and had its own AC unit. I will gladly stay here again.
- Brian (8/5): -
- JUAN (10/5): - Good place
- Shane (10/5): Passing through Gorham before starting an AT section, and I always stay at this hotel if they have a vacancy. - Great value and the staff is terrific. The room was surprisingly large and tucked towards the back, so road noise was at a minimum.
- Rebecca (9/5): - Easy check in. Good location. Close to restaurants and trailheads. Daily towel change Shower noise from the bathroom from the room above
- Deborah (2/5): - This property was not as portrayed in the picture. The hot tub was closed (it is the main photo in the Expedia ad). We needed more towels and there was nobody on site. There is no coffee maker/kettle in the room. The common areas are worn and neglected and dirty.
- Karczynski (7/5): -
- Ralph (4/5): Overall experience was good, just needs to work on the amenities. - It’s right near utv/atv trails and some restaurants as well. Hot tub not in working condition.
- Charlotte (8/5): - Very clean and neat. Would stay there again.
Wish they had a hair dryer though like most other motels usually have.
Owners are very nice.
- Wetzell (7/5): -
- Edmundson (8/5): -
- Valerie (8/5): - It was fine for the price. It is very dated but it was clean and comfortable and quiet. It had a microwave and refrigerator, which was great. No coffeemaker though. There was also a small table with two chairs, which was nice. If you are just looking for a cheap and clean place to crash it is fine. We ate at Nonna’s and the Publik House and both meals were good.
- Chris (9/5): Great location, clean, and comfortable! - Clean, comfortable room for a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.
- Peng (10/5): - I had a good stay at this property over night. It was quiet and safe. Next day I went hiking in Mount Adams nearby which was very intense. Thank you!
- Ippolito (7/5): -
- Timothy (8/5): - The location was nice. All the windows were unlocked. the location of the TV. No coffee maker or electric kettle. should post months hot tub is open.
- Jennifer (7/5): Nice Motel - Great location. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. The room was pretty clean. The bed. It felt like I was sleeping directly on the box spring. I didn't sleep for two nights. But to be fair, my friend in the next bed said her bed didn't bother her.
- Brian Gill (5/5): -
- David (7/5): Very convenient place for preparing a next day hike when coming from afar. -
- Todd (8/5): Northern Peaks Motor Inn Jan 2025 - The room was old but clean and well-kept.
- Naseer Ahmed (5/5): We r go there for fall vacation 8 hours driving my home to there so go there earlyer need use restroom we have reservati - Just location Staff is very rude
- Rafi Ahmed (6/5): -
- Yaqoob (5/5): - Good location from things we were doing. Was expecting better service. Bed was not comfortable.
- Ken (8/5): -
- Brian Bell (9/5): -
- Michael (8/5): - Although an older property, the staff and cleanliness makes it worthwhile considering for those on a budget as we were. We had a quiet stay and the location was convenient. Clean sheets, hot shower. What more can you ask.
- dan (5/5): -
- John (8/5): - Need to upgraded on beds. Not that comfortable. Other then that not a bad place for what you are paying for. Room was clean.Lots of stuff to do around the area.
- Jaymes (10/5): -
- Joeri (9/5): Recommended stay within reach of everything - What a nice pro-active way to check us in! Since we were arriving way too late we got the room key in an enveloppe at the door of the office with a friendly and welcoming text written on it. The room was quite large, everything super clean, and there was a great service of the household employees throughout our stay. The bed was huge and really comfortable, there wasn't any noise from our neighbours or the street, and the location is perfect within reach of dining opportunities, but especially within reach of the White Mountains National Forest. This is actually based in the quieter part around this National Forest yet only a couple of minutes drive away from hiking trails and more. Recommended stay and great price-quality! Nothing!
- Kendra (8/5): -
- Hugues (8/5): - There was no breakfast. It's a typical US motel, the reception staff were friendly.
To eat in the evening, you just have to cross the road, there is a good Asian restaurant at reasonable prices, no need to take the car. .
- Kelly (8/5): overnight stay - convenient location very clean rooms walking down the sidewalk of the hotel there is a drop that is only about 6 in but ,it comes out of nowhere and blends in. the first time I saw it and told the elderly woman with me (85) to watch out for it. the second time I walked right off it and twisted my ankle. thankfully I caught myself before falling. I believe that you need to mark that step, nothing is there to tell you that it is there. watch your step! I can't be the only person that has done this after that I walked in the parking lot.
- Tony (7/5): Good place for the money. Thank you! - Price is right and it was easy to check in. Dated property, but thats ok!
- jason (9/5): -
- Castellan (9/5): - Large, clean room. Friendly staff
- viral (2/5): - Nothing I would give less than 1 star to this property. I continued to stay as it was hard to find another hotel in the nearby area - Randolph by late night.
Cons:
- Keys were left outside the main office doors.
- Beds in the room were not good.
- No lights in the room they asked me to use two lamps present in the room. The most important part - one of them was not working.
- Broken ceiling, bathroom tiles
- Fire alarm was broken which proves no safety in case of fire.
I would recommend everyone to stay away from this motel.
- Babcock (2/5): - It was on rt 2. On the way to my destination The room was uncomfortable. The bed was too bouncy and squeaky. Could not watch TV unless you paid for a chanel. Very dark.
- Vladislav (8/5): -
- susan (9/5): was like little apartment, with full kitchen -
- William (10/5): - Some long term neighbors were loud. Other than that, a good budget hotel.
- johannes (8/5): prima plek -
