Good lighting, bed obviously had a topper added on and was very comfortable. Supper clean. Nice seating in the yard. Bring your own coffee, luckily I did, they had instant. I was only there for one night but could have stayed two! Two much air freshener. Had to air it out. It did dissipate but was over the top. My only complaint, I would go back.

It is located on the state highway but traffic noise was minimal. there are several restaurants within a mile.The only drawback was that the registration was still on paper and notification has to be made by phone to confirm.

It needed a bigger aircon but who cares they put a fan in the room for us. EVERYONE (staff) was kind and willing to go the extra mile for us Thank you so so much. The bed was a bit stiff but I think that was because they were new.

Downside was the very loud truck traffic from Hwy 12, which was just a few yards away from our room. The back side is probably a lot quieter. Would not recommend for light sleepers.

Our room was clean and comfortable, but the bed had an overly soft foam topper combined with so-so quality sheets that made for hot sleeping conditions (and thus less good sleep for us). Service was good, and the location is a short drive from downtown Packwood.

SRIDEVI (10/5): - Hi, This property is right on the highway and has good dining options as well as gas and car service options. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The tea kettle was very useful as were the bottles of water. Wi-Fi was good. There is plenty of parking and there is a ramp to roll the luggage to the 2nd floor rooms....no stairs! The front desk staff greets you very warmly and provides honest answers. I was told that the room is small so noises might be heard when asked about the quietness. I was prepared with ear buds as they were needed at night. Surprisingly there is not much noise from the highway...the room was in the back. The checkout was easy. If you are in the mood to walk, you can walk to the restaurants or you can drive as there is plenty of parking there too. This was a good place to stay on my road trip as it is on the way to Mt.Rainer NP.

Blagsvedt (3/5): Will never return and would never recommend. - Relatively close to White Pass. There was no stopper for the bath tub and while the room was advertized as full bath. Light weight covers on bed during a Feb winter with reliance upon a floor heater that kept room way too warm. Even with heater off, the room was uncomfortably warm.Very soft mattress which contributed to bad night sleep. No coffee available except for smalll packages of instant coffee.

Which was pretty cool at first, but then was sorta disappointing; considering the other hotels in Packwood that we have stayed at for about the same price. No coffee in the room was a huge disappointment as we were heading out early for skiing. Floor was slanted so stuff rolled across the room to under the bed, and super thin walls....

Pnw (8/5): Very pleasant - I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how charming the place is. The room seemed fairly newly updated and incredibly clean. I even checked everywhere, even under the bed, and it was immaculate! I'm sort of a stickler for cleanliness. I don't need fancy, but if it's not clean, it's a no. The whole property is adorable, I had a single room in the back upstairs, it was small but I was alone so it was fine. I think it may be too small for more than one person if staying for more than a couple of nights. If I stay there again and I likely will, I would upgrade to a room with a fridge and microwave, my room did not have that which I do find odd at that price point. The bed also past the test, this is rare with motels and is something that will turn me away from every staying in a place again. This place the bed is a perfect cloud of comfort. Overall though the place is lovely and they have a lot of options re: room types and sizes. Also it's super convenient to the park entrance. The walls are sort of thin, I would suggest earplugs if like me you have issues with noise leaking through. The man in the room next to me snored like a truck and I had a hard time getting to sleep...I pity the person with him LOL.

We were exhausted after a day of strenuous hiking in Rainier National Park, but got a very poor night's sleep.
