Jennifer (5/5): Had several problems with the toilet backing up into the bathtub. The maintenance man Young was so friendly and very qu - There was lots of space to take a walk. It’s very cozy. Not much privacy from neighbors and parking is not convenient. You are not able to access the beach easily. There is a canal to cross and the bridge to do that is held together by rope tied to the shore and pieces of wood covering the holes.

Jane (1/5): Buyer beware, check current reviews. - Location was close to the new town of Seabrook. The staff refunded all fees. The facility in general. Our room was freezing, even with the baseboard heating turned to maximum. Our room had no hot water. The furnishing were old and uncomfortable. The pool was closed and the hot tub was never located.
mary (4/5): - Note left on office has you call. No answer and mail box was full. Texting was not an option as there was no service in this area for my cell. Ended up ringng the ring door bell. Finally got a response. The biggest negative was no hot water! Couldn't shower or bathe as no hot water! No beach access
Counts (7/5): The Beachwood Resort was everything we needed for the weekend. - I loved the proximity to the beach. It wasnt a far walk. The bridge to cross a small river was slightly broken. It works but it's a little submerged in parts. Wear water shoes or boots. I was looking forward to soaking in the hot tub and sweating in the sauna but they didn't seem to get up to temp as far as I required. For the price, we were still happy with our stay even without the extra amenities.

Patricia (8/5): The time at the resort with my granddaughters was priceless. - I stayed at this resort earlier this year and later booked it for July. When I was there earlier in the year my granddaughters were with me, and they really enjoyed the beach and the pool. Our unit was clean and quiet. Owner (wife) was super sweet I was unable to make my trip in July due to a family emergency. I cancelled through booking.com and was told that they would send an email to the resort with the cancellation code in the hopes that my money could be refunded. Booking.com did send the email but no cancellation code, so I have been unable to receive a refund. I have followed up with booking.com and so has the owner (wife) of the resort. She has been doing her best to help me. Trying to speak with customer service at booking.com is a joke. I have sent emails, and they come back undeliverable. The resort is great except the kids playground is pretty run down and needs updating. But overall, I still give the resort 4.5 stars or an 8.5 out of 10

Murphy (8/5): Good Comfy Place to stay just a bit outdated - everything was very clean, staff was very friendly always asked if we need anything, very unique place, nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, you can borrow a big variety of dvds from the front desk. we been allowed to bring our cats which was very nice. very strong smell im the condo from previous guests(sweat, dog?), condo got always very humid and just had one fan, we always had to open all doors, the bridge to the beach is a huge safety risk very broken and shouldn't be used anymore prefer go to the Copalis Beach the Street North there is a big safe bridge.

"G"s bookings (8/5): Great place to relax - Was not expecting no a/c, but the temps were good so it worked out OK. The cottage was a bit dated, bathroom was very tight, but doable. I was very comfortable with this place cause it was relaxing for a long drives rest. I think the price was a bit high, but we did not have much of a choice. It was very convenient to be able to pull car right up to cottage. I would recommend as overall I liked the place. I really can not say I didn't like anything. The shower head was bit low, but that really is not a problem.

Sarah (4/5): Wouldn't go back.. - I loved how much rooms there was, it was very spacious. Beds were comfy, it was nice there was actually kitchen dinning wear. There was mold on the shower curtain, a rug or carpet instead of tile for the livingroom would be a bit nicer. The sliding glass door was very hard to operate. The water had a really, really, really bad smell to it. I didn't even really want to shower or brush my teeth it was so bad. Also the staff was no where to be seen for over a half hour when I tried to check out and there was no internet.
Jerimiah (2/5): - Drove up and realized this is not a resort and not condos but what look to be trailer homes. Images do not show the place for what it is. Booked it for a special birthday surprise for my wife, paid extra for beachside view too. And the view was not of the beach but just some over grown bushes. Path to the beach had a bridge that was falling apart in parts under water. Didn’t feel comfortable with the cleanliness as we saw a van for the maid open in the parking lot with towels, bedding and trash tossed around inside. The lady that checked us in was nice but the space was not worth half the rate that was charged. Ruined a special weekend and do not recommend the resort or the area. Mistake that will not happen again.
William (2/5): Was no where near worth the high price. - Not much. The Door code did not always lock door. Office was always closed. The toilet made strange sounds like a bellowing moose. Shower was wonky and faucets were hard and not working right. Corners of bed were sharp and put pillows there to protect feet at night. Sliding door would not latch but there was a stick. Will not go back. In disrepair. Nothing like the picture. Worst experience since Victoria Canada 2017. No communication and frankly I answered above. Nothing to l8ke.
Jordan (4/5): - Smooth check in process. But unfortunately that’s where the pleasantries ended— it smelled strongly of cigarettes when we walked in, and worse, the sheets were dirty. There was a large yellow/brown stain in the middle of the fitted sheet on one bed, and what appeared to be mouse poop in the other :( Aside from that, the unit would have been cute enough, but unfortunately those two cleanliness factors made for a generally uncomfortable experience.

Robert (3/5): The stay was disappointing. We left a day early primarily because the water was brown. - I liked that the property was a short walk to the ocean. Although, the bridge to the ocean via the property trail was old, broken, and partially in the river. The room was very outdated. The water was brown when it came out of the faucet and shower. There were loose tiles in the room.

Omar (5/5): Passable - The location is good and near the ocean. The walking trail to the beach is not ready yet, so we had to go to the beach access near by using the car. The rooms are old and outdated, the furniture is very old and the sofa is not comfortable. The hot tub is not hot enough it is a warm tub instead. The heater is very noisy and old. The room painting colors are not even and patched with unmathcing colors.

Jade (2/5): Nightmare family getaway - Staff were friendly We chose this due to the good reviews on booking. I wish I would have searched reviews elsewhere. Check in was easy. But this stay was nothing but a nightmare. The rental was very smelly- like old people, very very musty. First our sliding glass door wouldn't lock, we spent valuable time trying to figure out a fix. Staff put wood block in door to *fix* it. There was mice poop under the couch bed mattress. There were tons of ants coming in from the door and under the entertainment stand. Dishes were very dirty with old food stuck to them. Water was discolored and had a smell. Towels did not feel clean and discolored. Bathroom walls were dirty. Place was not stocked with toilet paper (had to ask for more the first day). Bed was super uncomfortable- very old mattress and box spring. Was not able to wash anything sandy off due to their wells. No portable fans. This environment felt very dirty and grimy. We were so happy to leave during checkout. We thought about staying in another location due to how uncomfortable this stay was. Staff were friendly, about the only positive thing. I don't leave negative reviews ever, this getaway was just so uncomfortable and stressful.

Tobias (6/5): Has probably seen better days & could be better with some TLC - *Proximity to beach. *Warm water > immediately *Good & fast heating *good parking, lots of space *They apparently keep some bungalows exclusively without pets so whoever has allergies can rest assured there was no pet in there before them *bright room *staff responds quickly to text message *Wifi signal was pretty bad. In living room ok, in bedroom nonexistent (any of the options they provided) *Most of all: lacking cleanliness. At first glance it looks fine, but when taking a closer look there were several issues. When we first took a look at the bungalow, we immediately saw that there was hair & soap pieces in the sink, hair on the toilet bowl, hair in the shower. The fridge had not been cleaned properly and had crumbs. We told them about it, someone came to fix it. When we returned the fridge was cleaned, so was the shower and toilet, but not the sink (picture shows AFTER cleaning) Later we discovered a few more issues: a stain on the top sheet, towels were washed and plentiful but also had permanent stains on them. We found more hair sticking to the wall. In the kitchen, the drip pans were lined with aluminium foil, but had burned food scraps in them so when using the stove it burnt further. There was only a used sponge (though not looking dirty) provided for dishwashing. The drying rack for dishes had a few food left overs sticking to it still as well. The sofa was quite worn, the bed had quite some give but was ok. Yes we could have complained about all of this again, but at that time we didn’t want to have even more hassle and just wanted to rest. So we cleaned some parts ourselves and just used whatever we felt comfortable using. When taking a walk to go to the beach, we discovered the connecting bridge (not sure if it’s part of the property or not) was broken (see picture). When we asked about it we were told that it was ok to use the bridge as long as only one person at the time uses it. We tried, stayed dry, but it was very wabble and not sturdy at all. It did not feel very safe to cross. With a little more attention to detail and especially in the department of cleaning, this property could do much better.
Anna (10/5): - They have very nice cottages with lots of space, clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated. The resort has a private beach within short walking distance and the area around the property is just great to relax and enjoy.

Molly (10/5): We love Beachwood Condos and Resort and visit every spring! - Beautiful quiet location just a short walk to a marvelous beach. The condos are cozy and we love the full kitchen. The ping pong table is a favorite with the kids, and us parents! Tons of movies at the office that you can borrow and watch. Super friendly owner.

Smith (8/5): very cozy - my adult children and I stayed here over the weekend. it was very quiet and we were the only ones using the hot tub. this is my second time here very convenient to friends we visit in the area.... the Airbnbs in the area are crazy priced, with the high cleaning and admin fee added on to the nightly prices. it is cheaper to stay here.... had a musty smell

The keyless door like us out of our place. .Did get back in to the place but we were told to unlock the sliding glass door just in case it happens again. Two positives Bed was comfortable and the two staff members were nice.

Kelly (6/5): - The host was a real sweet person and she tended to our requests in a timely fashion. The unit had a musty smell and the furniture was outdated. The couch had a cover of sorts over it which I had to tuck in periodically to cover it. Bed was adequate. Living room had no rug so it was a bit chilly to have stocking feet on the floor.The sauna worked and I did enjoy that feature - reach out to the host for instructions. It would be helpful to have instructions on the sauna so no one accidentally turns it off while you are waiting an hour for it to heat up. All in all it was as expected although I’d pay a little more next time to stay somewhere nicer.
THOMAS (6/5): - The condo was a good size unit, but had a musty smell that we have experienced at other older seaside rentals. The bedroom was worse. The old coffee maker broke on day one. The dish drain rack was rusty. Asked for extra towels and they also smelled bad. The host was very polite and apologized, but that does not make up for the subpar room..

Garrett (2/5): - I confirmed the booking days prior over phone call email and text for the 31st. My book day was check in the 31st check out the 1st I drove all the way out there and arrived to check in to be told there was no condo available for my family and I. After confirming multiple times it was set up. Super extremely angry. Took my family 2 hours to find another place to stay over a hour away. This resort is horrible and u WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY. Horrible customer service and they made no effort to fix the problem. I’ll never recommend them to anybody.
