• Jacqueline (10/5): - Nice spacious room that was very clean. Manager, possibly owner was very helpful and accommodating. Would stay again. AC was great. Gave directions to local highlights so I knew my way around taking a bus as needed but walked. Not far from Erice cable car. 35 min walk to nice beach club with everything and port to Favignana was a bus ride on #30 or walk 45 min Could easily have stayed an extra night!
• S6784THelenas (10/5): Good place for budget travellers - Good budget place to just stay overnight and explore the city in a day time. Beds were very comfortable, AC working and room was well cleaned every day, also good coffee is incluuded and you can drink it in the morning on the balcony.

• Christy (10/5): Family size room - I booked this room at the last second when we found we didn't have a place to stay that night. The room was large and everyone very friendly. The location was close to everything.
• Ivan (8/5): - Gemütliches kleines Zimmer. Zweckmässig eingerichtet, ideal für Kurzauenthalt. Dusche etwas klein, aber ausreichend. Klimaanlage hat funktioniert, aber Wartung wäre wieder mal fällig. ;-D Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus. Flexibles und einfaches Check-in.

Not a B&B but an inexpensive room with voucher for a pastry and coffee at the cafe at the end of the street. The cafe was excellent and the room was clean. Beds were outdated and pillows flat. No coffee maker. Neighborhood was working class and not near any sites, apparent transportation or dining
• babru (10/5): Incantevole Trapani - Ho alloggiato al B&B Il Cavaliere dal 7 al 10 dicembre e devo dire che è stata una piacevole sorpresa. non avevo mai alloggiato in questo tipo di strutture, ma questa è stata davvero molto piacevole. la camera (per una persona) ampia e pulita ed altrettanto si puo dire del bagno corredato dal set di cortesia. Le camere sono al primo piano di una palazzina totalmente ristrutturata. l'atmosfera è silenziosa e rilassante. il wifi free è eccellente. la colazione viene consumata presso una bar posto all'angolo della via. Non proprio nel centro, ma con una piacevole passeggiata si arriva al porto e nella parte vecchia e storica della città. autobus per la citta e l'aereoporto a circa 100 mt. dalla struttura. in pochi minuti a piedi si arriva alla funivia per Erice. Insomma assolutamente da provare. tutto ok. grazie al proprietario.
• Maboch (10/5): Very comfortable apartment - Comfortable apartment consists of a bedroom with a large double bed, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. Towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Towels were not replaced during a week's stay. Piero - delectable owner, picked us up from the bus from the airport, gave a map of the city and advised where to eat, what to visit. Close to the magnificent Svalutation Cafe. Free parking on the street.
• 492adrianab (10/5): Excellent B&B - I spent few days in Il Cavaliere in Trapani. Hotel is relatively new, rooms are clean and our host Piero friendly and helpful (he proactively recommended several attractions or locations to go to, gave good tips for travel, etc). Breakfast was served in a cafeteria few meters away from B&B and offered delicious local breakfast pastry (pistachio cornuto, bambuloni) and very good coffee. Me and my friend enjoyed this stay and we recommend it for couples and families.
• rafaaal (10/5): I just want to come back someday - Piero is great host of B&B Cavaliere. He told us about interesting places in Trapani, including nice restaurants. Me and my girlfriend spent there the amazing time in Trapani, and the big part of this pleasures was this place. Nice fragrance always filled whole building up, the room was simply wonderful - such comfortable beds, cool floor, useful window blinds, and roomy and always clean bathroom. Oh and whenever you want working air condition. We also loved the breakfast on corner street cafe in close to Cavaliere. That was amazing experience everyday - you can easily feel the real Italian life there..
• tomaszb661 (8/5): Very good, owner is very friendly and helpful - Piero, the owner, was very helpful. He recommended a great boat trip to Egadi Islands for a great price and alerted us on the worsening sea conditions coming the next day - without this alert we wouldnt have been able to make the trip. He also made the ticket reservations for us and drove us to a back from the seaport. Piero also recommended a good restaurant downtown. Overall, I am sure that he would also help us in any other case or problem. The rooms are quite basic. Great thing is they are cleaned daily, everyday you get fresh towels and those little shampoos, etc. The owner keeps it quiet and does not interfere or bother you with too many rules and regulations. The location of the hostel is nice, but this is not exactly the heart of the city. You have to walk 30 mins to reach the old town. On the other hand the surroundings are very quiet and calm. Overall, a good stay!
• LuciaSK1 (10/5): Perfect place and perfect owner - WE were very satisfied with accomodation at Il Cavaliere. THe hotel is located in good and quiet location. The room was nice an clean, the TV and wifi were available and worked without any problem. Clean service every day, breakfast was available in cafe shop within 5 minutes far from hotel and tasted very well. We could recommend croissant with pistachio, we miss it now at home The owner of hotel is perfect We have not been in touch with similar person He was interested in our flight, he sent email with instruction how to get to the hotel and finally he picked up us at the bus station in Trapani and took us directly to hotel. He recommened us the excellent places to eat and visit, he was always ready to help. Piero, thank you for everything and once we come to Trapani, we will be back in your hotel. • 466anc (10/5): Great little place - We greatly enjoyed our stay at B&B Cavaliere. The room is comfortable and very clean with all the facilities that you may need (small fridge, TV, hair dryer, aircon). The beds are comfortable and bathroom not only very clean but quite spacious as well. The Italian style breakfasts served in a nearby coffee shop was delicious. The coffee shop is just round the corner from Cavaliere and is run by a friendly Italian family. If you fancy a bike trip round Trapani, you can rent a bike at Cavaliere. Piero, the owner, was a great host – he speaks English so if you cannot say more than a few words in Italian do not worry. He is very friendly and answers all the questions you may have. You can send him an email any time and he replies within minutes. He gave us lift to the bus station which we greatly appreciated. The place is very quiet and close to Erice cable car. • 712andreash (10/5): Nice Location in Trapani, absolutly friendly owner of the Hostel - We stayed for four night in the hostel b&b il Cavaliere to discover the western part of the Island. The hostel is located only 10 minutes walk away from the centre of the historic part of Trapani. We choosed this hostel, because we had a rental car and it is impossible to get a parking space in the historic Part. We had a free parking space in frount of il Cavaliere the whole 5 days. The hostel is in a perfekt and clean condition and has even a fully usabell kitchen. The bath is big and has a clean shower. The best Thing about the hostel was the owner Piero. Unfortunately we arrived very late at 23,50, but Piero was waiting for us the whole time to give us the key. He explained us all Special insider tipps for Bars, Restaurant and Sightseeing trips. We promised him to come back again. Trapani is a wondefull City and the b&b il Cavaliere is a cheep und nice hostel to stay
• MartaMacdonald (10/5): Warm welcome to beautifully kept, quiet hotel - My husband and I had been staying in Erice in June 2012, for a Stickista conference, when I became ill and needed to be in the less damp atmosphere of Trapani. Our friend, Dani Pigreco found us this B&B where we were very warmly welcomed by Piero, who did everything to make us comfortable during our stay. The hotel is very quiet, very clean and the rooms are large, with every amenity, including an espresso maker, and two very comfortable queensize beds. I would go back there when I return to Trapani, and highly recommend this lovely place to all travellers.
• Olsimo (10/5): Awesome little place - This happened to be the best place we stayed on our trip around Western Sicily, mainly due to the owner, Piero. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and easy. The room we stayed in was extremely spacious and cleanliness was clearly a top consideration. I'd thoroughly recommend this establishment to anyone.

I spent here a great long week from 28 of april with my colleague and we are so happy. Il Cavaliere is located on a quiet street - only 15 minutes by step from the center full of great restaurants, monuments, wonderful people. The room and bathroom are daily cleaned, also comfortable with WIFI. The owner Piero is a great person, helpful, hearty and smiling. I will come back for sure. • SalO550 (10/5): Piero is the Man!!! - Me and my partner had the perfect holiday the last week of September. We arrived late at night on Saturday the 22nd and Piero (the owner) didn't mind at all, he was actually really helpful and understanding. The room was simply huge, really big and clean...it could easily host 4 people. Toilet massive, comfy. The B&B is a bit off the beaten track, so we pleasantly slept not hearing a single noise at night for 7 days. Piero is the man you need to know what to visit, where to eat, what to eat...I mean he knows how to make you feel at home, on top of that he runs the b&b really well. We spent our holiday in the Zingaro and in San Vito Lo Capo during the day...at night in Trapani...what a city. Shame we had only a week. Next year at the Cavaliere again!!! Estelle and Sal.
• FroniT (10/5): Great holiday - B & B Il Cavaliere is very elegantly decorated hotel, where we had a pleasure to live for 10 days. It is situated in a quiet area inhabited by residents of Trapani. That helped us to get to know their daily habits. The B & B Il Cavaliere cares about all the comfort and cleanliness. The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Piero, the owner of B&B Il Cavaliere is a very nice and friendly person always willing to help. Really cares about the satisfaction of their guests. Breakfast in the Svalutation Cafe is a good opportunity to get to know residents and taste fantastic Sicilian delicacies. If you spend more days there, you'll love this place and you'll miss them when you get home. Trapani is a beautiful and amazing city, worth to spend here some days.
