- Shunda (8/5): Overall it was a great hotel. - The location was great. It was very close to downtown and many attractions. The bed was very comfortable. The only issue I had was that the water didn't get as hot. It was warm the entire trip.

- Adrienne (10/5): It’s a beautiful hotel. Construction next door. - I gave a credit card for incidentals and now I’m being harassed about paying it because of an error on the staff. Phone calls, emails etc. I’m traveling! Huge authorization form to complete and send. Not convenient and on top of this…they say I won’t get Marriott points because I didn’t book through Marriott. I chose Marriott deliberately and at a higher cost and now no points.
- Brook (4/5): - Location 1.Paying daily for parking. 2. I purposely booked a room with a pull out couch for my children to sleep on. We I contacted the front desk to notify them that tje bed was broken, I was offered a roll away bed. I did not pay for a room with a pull out sofa to be offered a roll away bed. I was never offered any other compensation and so my daughter had to sleep on a couch after I had payed for a room that would accommodate my family size. There were also no sheets or blankets provided on the sofa bed when in previous hotels they are always folded up with sheets and blankets for use.

- Mary (8/5): - Great location for downtown, great view. The only dislike was a construction site next to motel. They started working and it was loud at 330am on Monday. I got mixed feedback from the city of Gatlinburg when I called to complain. I was told first there is a noise ordinance that limits any noise until after 7 am. The police told me it didn’t apply to commercial businesses, so I called city manager. They told me there is a sound limit for commercial before 7 am. I don’t know what to tell anyone who stays there on a week day.

Front desk staff was not attentive to our needs and did not seem to care about their job or the customers. Hot tub did not have towels. Hot tub jets did not work on over half the unit. Coffee maker didn't work and couldn't get the front desk to replace.

- Seung Wan (10/5): - I stayed here for three nights while exploring the Great Smoky Mountains, and I’m really glad I chose this property. It’s tucked just off a busy street, which made it surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The facilities were excellent, and both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were truly satisfying. While the front desk staff during check-in were a bit curt and spoke too softly to understand easily, the restaurant staff were friendly and hardworking, which made a big difference in the overall experience.

- Kailash (4/5): Staying away from this Mariott property - The walls were like paper and you could hear every single move of the other room, coffee was spilled by some guest in one of the elevator and took the staff hours to clean. Did not appreciate the attitude of staff/nothing specific but very dry and cold responses as if they are doing a favor to us. Very unlike Mariott culture. Coffee was bad , Avacado toast we ordered tasted weird, yougurt parfait was bad as if it was probably expired.

I thought the initial cost was good but after the 2nd and 3rd night escalation, all the taxes, and parking at $15.00 a night, the petals fell off the rose. These issues made us look at other options for our next visit. The hotel was all that Courtyards should be, including an AC system that rivals a tornado for noise.

- KITZI (3/5): High Hopes Shattered - Very clean, comfortable bed. Most staff were pleasant When we got to the room, the toilet wouldn't stop running. Called the front desk several times with no answer. Gave up and fixed it myself. Jiggled the handle, flused it in hopes it would stop. After that issue, we were able to finally get ahold of front desk staff, but they were condescending when we reached out about the wifi not working. It never did during our time there. It's not a big deal, but for what what you pay at this place, it SHOULD WORK! As well as we shouldn't have to fix the toilet ourselves either. We were constantly being woke up, my loud rushing water sounds (guessing showers running or toilets being flushed). Then, at 5 am. on a Sunday loud banging right outside of our windows, I'm not sure what that was because the windows were so filthy on outside I couldn't see out of it.
