Audrey (2/5): - I didn't get the opportunity to stay. I booked a room in advance. When my husband and I arrived we went straight to our room. We opened the door and immediately smelled a strong odor of what I assumed was cleaning supplies.The reason for our departure was due to the loud noise of the air conditioner fan. I went down to the front desk and reported the problem and was told they would send someone up to check it, if the problem couldn't be fixed they would move us to a different room. We went back to our roo and waited as we sat talking not disturbing or touching anything in case they moved us. After 40 minutes I called down to the front desk and explained the situation to a different women who was now checking people in. I was told that the maintenance man was at a funeral and would arrive shortly. I asked to be put in a different roomand was told there were no more rooms available. We couldn't possibly sleep or stay in the room with this constant noisy fan so we had no choice but to check out. We felt that we were treated poorly and I felt as ifI was in the wrong. I received no apologies. I will never stay at this Hotel period!!
Verified traveler (10/5): Good weekend - From the check-in to the check out, it was a great weekend. The only thing that I would say is the AC units needs to be maintained as the one in my room was very loud and made an awful noise whenever it came on. Other than that, it was a great stay!

We stayed there 2 years ago and it was very nice . But next time we will be looking for different accommodations . Not family oriented.
Leekea (6/5): - Overall, my stay was great until a slip and fall accident in the lobby. There was no sign to indicate if the floor was wet or not. The front desk clerk was very helpful and responsive as well as other staff members on the day of the incident. After leaving the hotel and seeking medical attention, my contact with the staff was limited as if they didn’t care if I was hurt from the slip and fall. They didn’t offer any kind of remedy or care or concern since I was no longer on the property. The general manager seems to not understand what it means to have customer service and be courteous to people. I still will recommend someone to stay at the property because my stay was great until the slip and fall incident.

Jessica (6/5): overall review I give it a 6 - I have been traveling there over the last 5 years and I stay at Fairfield inn suites every year something be going on with the rooms it's always a towels getting new towels the next day it's always been a problem. no towels in the pool you might go in there in five or six towels this past weekend we found none we had to ask the front desk to bring us some. those refrigerators are old they're not cooling or keeping our food cool or drinks cool and the cleaning needs to be more of the part my bathroom had not been cleaned out the only thing that had been cleaned out was the trash but the face bowl counter shower none of that was cleaned out. other than that everything was great

Diane (8/5): - The hotel is located in a rural, quiet area that is one exit away from the Poarch Creek Indian Reservation. There are a handful of fast food restaurants, other hotels, convenience stores, and the Wind Creek Casino Hotel within walking distance. I really loved the approximately 1/2 mile paved walking/biking path that runs around a small lake that is outside the side door of the hotel. The hotel staff were courteous, and check-in went smoothly. I would have given a higher rating, but our room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was trash in the trashcan and some type of residue on the bathroom floor. In the morning there was a puddle on the floor near the toilet, but we could not tell where the water was coming from, and we reported the maintenance issue to the staff as we were checking out.

They just hung the bags on the cans. And there were only two sheets of kleenex in the box. Not properly replenished. I booked the room for three adults. There were only two wash rags.

Tonya (6/5): - King - Master Suite. There is just one tiny closet that is in a small hallway outside of the master suite. The ironing board was broken. There was an area in the master suite where the closet should be or maybe it was a closet at some point in time but now it is basically just wasted space. The only mirror in the entire suite was in the bathroom! The continental breakfast was average, at best! I decided I would just have some milk and a muffin, however, when I took a drink of my milk I discovered that it was SPOILED!! But, not everything was bad. The entire staff was friendly, our room along with the entire hotel including the grounds was very clean. You could smell cleanliness in the air. We enjoyed that the master suite had two separate rooms, a sitting area with tv and desk and the master bedroom, also with a tv. The shower was also really nice. Nothing fancy about it, just very clean with a good shower head. I would stay here again but would not be my first choice for recommendation.

Bryant (4/5): - I had taken my wife out of town for her birthday and this is where we stayed. We were given room 317 which is for people with disabilities. I didn't have a problem with it at all. However, the ac/heater unit constantly made noise non-stop and (trying) to close the bathroom door was absolutely ridiculous and undoiable. That was the good part. I called the front desk and told them. I changed us to room 316. After having a lovely dinner with my wife, we returned to the room with yet another noisy AC/heater unit. The room Never did heat up. I set the thermostat to 86 and the room was still cold/chilly. I called the front desk yet again to ask for help. My wife told me that she was tired and didn't feel like moving yet again. We had to take (all) the covers and sheets from the closet and put on our bed. All we were told was, I'm sorry and that they would have given us more blankets. Really more covers/blankets. And the bathroom door was Not able to close either. Upon checking out, again all we received was I'm sorry. No Mr. J we are going to reduce the price of the room or how can we make it up to you'll on the next stay? And all this on my wife birthday. Needless to say, we are very disappointed. Next time will go to Holiday Inn and suites or Hamilton Inn and suites. I truly hope that the owners of the property reads this review and by all means, if you care feel free to contact me. I'm willing to update review if contacted.
