• Yusong (1/5): Poorly managed and unsafe during winter conditions, causing a complete loss of use of the stay. - This was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. Critical information was not disclosed prior to arrival, including the lack of indoor parking in a location known for extreme winter conditions. We were only informed after check-in. During our stay, Mammoth Lakes experienced severe snowstorms. The property manager provided no snow shovel, no preparation guidance, and no snow removal assistance. As a result, our car was buried under approximately five feet of snow, and we were unable to leave the property for two full days. This caused a complete loss of use of the accommodation and ruined our planned ski trip, despite having prepaid lift tickets and equipment rentals. In addition, the access code we were given did not work, leaving us locked out during extreme weather, which is a serious safety concern. The property manager refused to take responsibility and instead blamed the guests. The unit itself was also poorly maintained — the Wi-Fi was extremely slow, and the shower malfunctioned during the stay. Overall, this listing is misleading, poorly managed, and unsafe during winter conditions. I strongly do not recommend staying here, especially in snow season. Critical information was not disclosed before booking, including the lack of indoor parking in a severe winter location. During heavy snowstorms, the property manager provided no snow shovel, preparation guidance, or snow removal support, which left us unable to leave for two days. The access code also failed at one point, creating a safety concern in extreme weather. Overall, the property was poorly managed and not suitable for winter stays.

• Shannon (8/5): Amazing views, quiet and comfortable condo with lots of steps and very small garage - So, this condo is all about the VIEW! Which was amazing. It was comfortable for our family and friends. There are A LOT of steps outside and inside this condo. There are about 12 steep steps down from the garage to the front door of the unit. The kitchen, half bath and living room are on the main floor. All bedrooms are downstairs (another 10-12 stairs) to the 3 bedrooms below. There are 2 full baths downstairs. 1 in the master bedroom and 1 in the hallway shared by the other 2 bedrooms. The master was spacious; the bathroom was nothing special and needs a bit of updating but it was fine and fit our needs. There are radiant heaters in each bedroom that worked well, though they only go up to 70 degrees so if you like it warmer, too bad. Overall, we had a great time and were happy and comfortable in the condo. We got it for a GREAT price on Booking.com for the shoulder season so we were happy with the value for money. It is quiet and the views and wonderful. There's a pool and a hot tub that worked well and got plenty hot. The things we did not like about this condo is that the floor is not level. There is a noticeable slope in the floor in the condo, we had to prop open the bathroom door because it kept slamming closed due to the slope. It didn't really affect our stay at all, just something to be aware of. The major bummer was the parking issue. So, if you have a big truck, it will NOT fit in the garage and there is no parking in front of garages, it is a TOW AWAY ZONE. We had to park in the overflow parking down the hill and walk back and forth up a hill to get to the condo. Which, when it is cold and you're tired, its a pain. I wouldn't say the kitchen is well-stocked. There was 1 coffee filter which did not get us through the 3 nights. There is no salt/pepper, so bring all your own stuff. The heater on the main level turned on, but there was no heat coming out. We just used the fireplace every night instead to warm up the condo, there is plenty of wood to burn.

The bed was very comfortable First- our car did not fit into the narrow garage that belonged to the unit. There is only one overflow parking that was far away and that was challenging with the cold weather we had. Insolation wasn't the best, we were in a unit on the second floor and we could hear every step the people from the unit above us made. Even though the laws of the unit specify no pets, there was white fur all over the living room, the carpet and the curtains. We were visiting with a baby, and while the unit was supposed to be cleaned, the baby found some screws in some hidden locations. Lastly, we found clothing under the bed that did not belong to us. I would highly recommend cleaning these units better for the next visitors.

• Anita (8/5): Had fun as usual! - Not applicable Our dishwasher was dirty, bedroom window had to be fixed and the garage door was broken. We were allowed to park in another garage a few down from ours. We will say that the resort was on these issues immediately. The only thing that wasn’t completed was the garage but as long as we had a secure garage, we didn’t care. Again, the staff was on it, and we felt like we were heard. We love your resort and have stayed there twice and may use it again depending on what our grandkids want to do.

We were unable to cook, shower, use the tv, internet, wash clothes or use the hot tub or sauna. They said that they had just also received notice and that it was out of their hands. They offered nothing but an apology and no partial refund. I wrote to booking.com customer service and they never replied.

• Maksim_h (10/5): Great apartment for a long stay - The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The beds are comfy, and the view is excellent. It is styled as a cabin and looks cool. There are many things to do for fun: a variety of movies to watch and board games. The kitchen is well-equipped. The kitchen had a coffee-maker, but there was no coffee. It is located a little it far from downtown, so we can't just go and buy it. The check-in instructions for opening the garage were unclear and didn't accurately reflect the actual situation.

• Randi (5/5): Misrepresented, expensive, and due to the amenities, uncomfortable - Pretty good location getting over to the ski area, but not as straight a line as I thought. Mostly, one of my biggest amenities that I specifically ask for is a patio or balcony. They said nothing about it being weather-dependent. The patio was surrounded by walls and below the walking level outside. It was COMPLETELY FULL of snow, and I couldn't even open the door, let alone go out there. The snow also took away all of the light the patio window would've provided. Secondly, There was one very small closet and it was filled with robes, extra blankets, a fan, a big vacuum.... and no place for our clothes except to hang a couple of things. We had to live out of our suitcases, and if you ever go skiing, you know how much clothes we are talking about.

• Macaraig (10/5): Condo with a perfectly cozy alpine vibe - The hosts were extremely responsive to one phone call to clarify the condo's exact location and to one message pointing out an issue with the extractor fan above the stove. The condo itself was awesome and had a great vibe. We loved the pellet stove that gave the living room a truly alpine ambiance. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for a large group, and we also used the BBQ on the balcony. There was lots of space for the five of us to sleep very comfortably, and plenty of extra bedding. We enjoyed the views and the jacuzzi. We actually would have needed one more day to try out the sauna :-)))

• John (9/5): Amazing view in well equipped spacious condo. - The view from the condo was great. The rooms were large with big comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped. Our coffee maker stopped working and we got a new one in less then 10 minutes. It was difficult to find the ski trail down to Eagle lodge and we could not figure out how to return to our condo once we were on the slopes as the condo is up on a ridge. Also the hot tub area needs some upgrades as it was run down.

Had access to a washer and dryer in that bldg. Matt, the onsite property manager, was nice and helpful. Good kitchen, everything needed to cook/prepare food. It was ski in and out, but on one high snow day, it was challenging to get back to the unit as not groomed. Also limited where we could get to to ski and be able to get back to the unit. The info on booking. com said there was a garage, but we could not use it, as it is filled with workshop equipment and no longer usable for parking. We have a hybrid plug-in car which would have been nice to have access to charging in the garage. That was one of the reasons I booked the place. Parking was in a small area up the hill, the road back down was slippery, and I fell on the last day and broke my wrist. This season-ending injury is a direct result of not having use of the advertised garage. There was a lot of cold air coming up the stairs from the entry, which was quite noticeable. We put some blankets over the rail, which helped. The single bed by the rail would have been cold to sleep in. Several other minor things that needed attention, like fixing the dishwasher mounts so that the unit didn't fall out. I sent the company a list of those. Small closet with some hangers, but too much stuff in there to be really useful. No drawers either.

• Ed (10/5): The location, convenience and accommodations were the best that I have ever found! - The view from the balcony was stunning. The kitchen was fantastic and well maintained. The location was perfect with a short walk to ski onto the mountain and even easier to ski back to the room. My ONLY complaint is the master bedroom mattress was hard and uncomfortable. My wife was in love with the heated blankest and having separate heating zones was a very welcome touch since I don't like to be as warm as she does. The mattress made it difficult for us to get a good nights sleep.

Very clean, well equipped kitchen, big beds, amazing views from living room. - Amenities (close to jacuzzi), ski in and ski out trails, large garage, sleds, view from living room is gorgeous, large beds, 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, very responsive hosts. I was told to park in overflow lot, which I did. When I picked up my car there was a giant orange sticker on the windshield in front of drivers side, to notify me that I had parked illegally. It could not be removed and I had to drive home with it. After many tries with many solutions, it is still on my windshield along with residue, scratches, and sticky orange paper. It is completely obnoxious that anyone would put that on someones car, especially seeing that I paid a lot of money to stay there and was explicitly instructed to park in that lot. Also, we were told that there was a grill, so had planned our first nights dinner accordingly. Come to find out when we went to grill that the propane was completely out, so that foiled that evening's plan of grilled carne asada and pollo asado. We were able to cook in the oven, but it was annoying after asking specifically if there was a grill and planning a night's meal around the grill.

• Mary (1/5): Despicable that anyone would rent this place out, much less charge what we paid. - NOTHING The front door didn't lock when you were inside and the deadbolt was missing, (we had to prop a chair against the door!) the slider didn't lock, no A/C, microwave handle was busted off and could only pull from the top, tub dripped, shower had hole in the base and the shower door wasn't big enough to close, screen in other slider didn't fit, toilet ran off and on on it's own, entire place was poorly maintained. It was the worst place we have ever stayed and we are pushing 70. Scared to ever go through booking.com again.

• Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in unit 24. It was right across from the clubhouse which looked beautiful, but we didn't have time to take advantage of it. Plenty of space for my family of 6 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Showers had plenty of pressure and hot water. Towels were soft and absorbent and they even provided robes. I'm a Floridian flat-lander and didn't love the steep winding road to get there. I was glad we were on the lowest road. We visited in August and this is definitely a ski town so traffic was minimal. We had 2 parking spots in the garage. We were able to fit a Chevy Suburban and a Toyota Tacoma side by side, but it was tight. Not all units had 2 spaces so be sure to inquire about parking if you need it. Also the unit was on the 3rd floor up very steep stairs. If that's an issue for you request a ground floor.

Queen bed was way too soft for someone with back problems so couldn’t sleep very well. Garage parking only which wouldn’t be an issue except our mid-size SUV even scraped because of the incline to get in and out of the garage.

Very dated inside, the furniture was very musty smelling and like smoke. The carpet all throughout was very old and dated with lots of dust as all our allergies were awful in this unit. To top it off, we seen a mouse and then when trying to find where it went we came across a lot of mouse droppings all over the place, every corner of the room, in ever bottom kitchen cabinet, it was very gross. When notified the management did send a worker to set up traps, of which the mouse ate the peanut butter off 2 out of the 4 traps by the next morning. So we left and won’t be back. Also feel the need to deep clean all our belongings 😬

• Alondra (10/5): Perfect Getaway! - We ended up in a 2-story 3 bathroom 2 bedroom 4bed 2 balcony unit super clean. Diane was super communicative and sent us a text with all the info needed, a binder with much more information with nearby grocery stores and activities to do available in the unit. By far one of our top 3 locations to stay, we would definitely recommend this location and even book again! The pool was beautiful, and the jacuzzi was big, but the average small jacuzzi fit up to 10-12ppl. Sana and gym are also available with stay ( we did not use ). I loved that the kitchen had EVEYTHING available from cuttingboards and knives, plates & bowls to pots and pans. Which seemed like your own home. Full-size fridge available to store food. It's definitely a family-friendly location. you're able to cook meals larger dining table. I have not one bad thing to say about our experience 🤗 if it's available for your stay, definitely don't think twice about it.

I checked that I wanted parking when searching but there is no direct parking for this unit (22). Maybe my fault for not noticing. You have to park .1 of a mile down a steep hill. Not too bad, unless you forget something in the car then it is .2 of a round trip up/down a steep hill.

TV setup was comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked with appliances. Comfortable beds. Loved the garage. We'd definitely come back. 1. There was conflicting information about the check-in process on the booking.com app. Instructions with a door code were texted to me, but the booking.com app also had instructions in a different section to "bring ID to an office" located in the town, which I tried to do but couldn't find. The property manager was responsive to my phone call, but I'd enourage them to double check the instructions in the app to avoid confusion for future guests. 2. It snowed heavily during our stay and the unit was not provided with a snow shovel to clear out a walkway to the garage. 3. Would be great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Lacking this, it would have been helpful to include info about laundry machines on the premises.
• Daniel (10/5): Beautiful condo above canyon that you can ski down to then take chair 8 up to swell then blue jay then the timber ridge - The location was by far the best ive stayed at in mammoth and ive stayed at almost every ski in ski out The only issue is when I planned the trip with my family I scouted the snow report and saw no snow in the forecast and wasnt aware how high up on the mountain the location is, so instead of bringing my suv i brought the minivan so the kids could enjoy the travel experience more. Long story short this location I will always bring the suv regardless of the forecast cause this location is so high on the mountain the roads are best with an SUV. In my opinion this warning should come with the property booking so people are well aware before traveling.

Kitchen is equipped with everything you need, although we would have appreciated tea and coffee to be there. Getting into the appartment and within the appartment there are several stairs, which was tough with our heaviy suitcases. There supposedly is a pool, but we didn't find it. The ventilation in the lower bathroom is very loud when used.
