Amy (6/5): - The people who operate this hotel and its sister, Ocean Resort, are lovely. We needed a last-minute reservation and they were able to accommodate us a first night at Ocean Resort, and the second at Aquilina. Both hotels are old-school "mom and pop" looking. We can't say anything negative about Ocean Resort. But Aquilina has issues: the through the window AC/heater unit is incredibly noisy. Worse, the plumbing noises coming from the unit above us were so loud that we were afraid water was about to come through the ceiling. It interfered with our night's sleep. I would stay again at Ocean Resort but I don't think I'd go back to Aquilina.
Michele (8/5): - Parking was tight but adequate. Would have liked to have a chair in the room. No where to sit except the bed or a hard outdoor bench. Great location and helpful staff. Would definitely return especially with its proximity to the beach!

Kelsey (4/5): - Overall the hotel was nice, clean and conveniently located. The hotel offered a $50 early check-in option. I requested this early check-in for 12:00 as we had a wedding to attend and it was a great option for us to get dressed in the hotel room rather than travel in our wedding outfits. I received an email on Tuesday stating that my request for check-in at 12:00 was approved. Unfortunately when we arrived on Sunday, we were told that early check-in wasn’t possible, and that the option was to get changed in the pool bathroom. If I had known that it was not possible in advance, we would have arrived ready in our wedding outfits. I was very disappointed that the hotel misrepresented the approved early check-in by emailing me, and not communicating with me otherwise.

Reshma (10/5): Gem in Montauk - This hotel is an amazing location, easy to walk to restaurants and the beach. The room is spacious and I loved that it came with a mini fridge and microwave. Moreover, the best part is the size of the bathroom, with a large shower. The outside deck and pool area really well maintained.

CHRISTOPHER (8/5): - Facility was clean and well maintained, and staff is also friendly. We loved the room with the balcony, and the pool was heated so we could swim a bit even though the weather was in the 60s. However the walls are thin so there was a lot of noise throughout the night and early morning, usually banging noises I assume from people walking in their rooms and outside, and also opening/closing the dressers in the rooms. Overall a pleasant experience!
Lok-yee (10/5): - Great location and amenities available with your stay (e.g., beach chairs, umbrellas, parking, access to beach). The rooms are small but sufficient. The outdoor spaces are nice because you can lounge around both in the sun and shade if the beach isn’t your thing. The hotel is walking distance from the main strip so my boyfriend and I bought breakfast and brought it back to the hotel to have on their picnic tables in their courtyard which was quite nice!

John (6/5): Just Okay. - The rooms at this location are very small and overpriced. It was also quite noisy as one window directly faced the pool area. We did not enjoy this Inn very much which was overcrowded and not too inviting. The positive part was that the Montauk ocean is 2 minutes away from the Inn. Also, the hotel provides a beach umbrella, chairs, and beach towels which was nice.

Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible place. Stay elsewhere. - Hair from other people left behind on the towels, the extra blanket, the floor and bathroom. People above us stomping around all day and night like they couldn’t sit still. Worst part was their check out, which apparently is at 11am. At 11:01am, people start knocking on the door. As we were getting our things together to leave, every few minutes a different person would knock on the door to remind us check out is at 11am. We said we are packing up and will be on our way shortly. Then the front desk starts calling about it. Non-stop harassment until we actually left. Then when I go to check out and give back the keys, once again another reminder about their policy for check out. Didn’t ask us how was the stay, the room or anything else but this stupid check out policy. Overall horrible spot that’s more like a truck stop motel, dirty and horrible service.
Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible managerial service. - Everything was going fine until the management did not alert hotel guests that there was going to be a septic tank drainage happening while we were on the property right below our room. The entire room smelled of sewage, as well as the property. They didn’t take any accountability and offered no accommodations or amends for the significant disturbance to our trip. I would not recommend this place to anyone, if you’re looking for any assistance from their manager, don’t expect to get any.

You can take beach chairs and umbrellas from the motel to the beach. 5 stars. I have never stayed in a motel before but I would consider this place wonderful. It is truly a gem. So clean and comfy.

We enjoyed the pool so much. It was so cozy to stay there. A hairdryer, and air conditioner worked pretty well. We were able to hear the next rooms, but they were quiet at night, so it wasn’t a problem. I would love to go back someday.

The room was exactly how we expected it to be: clean, basic resources, and updated. The location was perfect. A very short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. I had a car and didn’t even need to use it. The inn also provided beach chairs and towels for your convenience, what a nice surprise! There’s also a beautiful pool and lounge chair area in the back. Highly recommend, especially for the great price! Hope to stay again soon.

Barbara (10/5): - This is a great option for a well priced hotel only a three minute walk to the beach. The pool is lovely and well-kept, the room and bath are well appointed, and it is great that they have towels, chairs, and umbrellas for the beach. It is also an easy walk to the jitney bus stop and lots of great dining options. This is my third year of coming to the Aqualina in September for a girls getaway. It is especially nice to come soon after Labor Day, when the prices are lower, the weather is still great, and the crowds are gone. The second floor rooms with balconies are an especially good value, because they are much quieter than the ground floor rooms.

My girlfriend an I stayed here for two nights for our anniversary and come checkout day we wanted to use the beautiful weather and the beach to the full advantage...Sebastian was kind enough to let us use the chairs and an umbrella for the afternoon as well as the showers once we hit the road. Madeline (4/5): - The location of the Aqualina is very good and conveniently close to the beach, town and restaurants. Initial interaction with front desk (Sebastian) was pleasant and welcoming. The room size is accommodating to two people as stated on website and the bathroom is a nice size. Upon checking in to our room, the dampness and humidity were apparent. The AC was not cooling adequately and the bathroom shower floor was not draining water correctly leaving it with standing water. The toilet was leaking from the cistern. We brought this to the attention of Joe at the front desk after the first night and he said that it would be looked at. Needless to say, nothing was done. In addition, we asked for our room to be restocked with fresh towels, etc. and this was not done "until 3pm" as he stated. $720 for two nights is considered reasonable for Montauk however, if a guest states that there are issues in the room, take the time to look at it and pretend to care about the services offered. We left by 9am morning of check out leaving a note with a staff member to ask Joe to give me a call because there was a credit card charge for a date that we did not stay at this inn...I am still awaiting the call.
