- David (9/5): It was a great getaway stay for my wife's birthday - Very spacious, lovely windows, great views of the stars through the kitchen windows, I would like to stay in that particular room again sometime. I was not very comfortable in that recliner , you should consider replacing it , it was very dirty and i struggled to much to get up and off the chair , it was hard to fold back.

- Joan. (5/5): Felt punished for booking through Booking.com! - They put me next to the gym AGAIN!!! I “messaged the property” ahead of my stay and asked to be AWAY from the gym. IT IS TOO LOUD AT 6AM!!!! Can’t go to bed early either. Gym hours are 6am-10pm. They said when I asked to be moved that I should haves booked directly through them, not booking.com. This isn’t a good way to build business but I guess they figure they can because of where they are. What a disappointment

Accueil très froid, nous avons eu l'impression de déranger. Places de parking limitées. Chambre sombre. Chambre très petite. Pas de table, pas d'étagère dans la salle de bain. 1 seul restaurant bondé dans le village, nous avons dû manger nos sandwichs prévus pour le lendemain. Le plus mauvais établissement et de loin sur 14 établissements fréquentés lors de notre road trip, alors que certains étaient 2 fois moins chers que celui-ci. Très déçus par la recommandation booking.

I was given an extremely small downstairs room with a queen bed initially when I first stayed at the June Lake Motel and then I asked for an upstairs room and got a spacious suite with a separate kitchen that was twice the size as the other room.

We had difficulty finding the room since it was an annex and at a different location. Arrival in the dark made it difficult but their staff was able to guide us directly to the room by phone. The room was easy access with parking right out front. The bed setup was not ideal. Access to the bed was only from one side so the second person could only access the bed from the end. Ideal for one person but difficult for 2. May consider placing the bed against the longer wall. Microwave was broken...it sparked when run without anything in it.

Kitchen a huge plus. - The manager was very friendly and extremely flexible with our situation with our son getting sick unexpectedly and us needing to make some changes to our reservation. The location is amazing. The motel is simple and what you would expect for a 2 star motel/hotel, but everything was very clean and exactly as described, maybe even nicer than the online pictures. The little kitchen was great. No complaints! I only wish we could have stayed longer.

- David (4/5): - This two-story motel was built in the 1950's. It has a retro feel with some updates. A little noise from next door brewery. No elevator. I needed one queen bed and got 3 beds a kitchen. The walkways and steps were dimly lit at night. In the parking area, there were spots where ice could be observed. Unfortunately, the old wall heater did not keep my room warm. I was offered a space heater. Ultimately, I wore two jackets in bed. The outside air temperature at daybreak was 28 degrees.

- Scott (8/5): Very good - Motel is right down town and walking distance to amenities. Motel is a vintage type but well kept for a mountain like experience.

- John (8/5): - Our King bedroom had a kitchen with everything needed to dine in, and a door to close off the kitchen from the sleeping room. The motel is in the center of the town of June Lake within a very short distance from restaurants and only a couple blocks from Gull Lake marina. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here and hope to return again.Our room was clean,and comfortable,

- Charles (10/5): - Everything was just as it should be, fortunately, because I never actually saw or talked to anyone in the office. It was always closed, but my room key was ready and waiting when I arrived, clipped to the doorway, and I was able to leave the key in the little wooden box when I left. The room was clean and well appointed. Very cool kitchenette for people who want to cook and eat in. We didn't, but that's OK.
- Doris (8/5): - Was not aware how steep the grade was to marina or certain restaurants. The room was clean and quiet, but did not know that there was a visitors center nearby or how far the lake beach was from motel. Did not like waiting until 3 pm to check-in ... It was inconvenient, even though I was warned by letter that I needed to be out by 10 am. Everyone thought I was lying about the check in time. This was humiliating.

- Lauren (5/5): Frustrating - I liked that it was close to the lake. It was a lot smaller than it looked. Check in was at 3 and no one was there to check us in. Multiple groups of people in the parking lot trying to check in. Someone had to call the emergency on property line multiple times just to get someone to check us in. And when someone finally came they confirmed our reservation and handed us a key and told us to come back later to finish checking in and by this point it was already 3:50. Anytime we tried to go back to the office it was closed. Check out was by 10 and we went up to the office at around 9 and again no one was there. So we put our key in the box and left. Went 4 days without seeing a single person who seemed to actually work there.

I told them I was ok without the fan and microwave but was letting them know for the next rental. They were diligent in trying to fix. The room overall was great.

- Karin (10/5): Great Stay!! - Really great stay! Adorable, clean, old-style hotel with a full kitchen and coffee maker. Easy walk to June Lake Brewing, grocery market and The Tiger Bar. View of the mountains from kitchen and bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.

Location was ideal (next door to general store and easy stroll to dining options), room clean and quiet, and I especially liked the fact that the property supplied a real coffee maker, cups and utensils, as opposed to the weird pod things so many places are using these days.

- Maryam (7/5): Nice motel, staff wasn’t attentive, description on booking.com not accurate - First of all I’m not sure if this is booking.com’s fault or June Lake motel but we booked for a room with 2 queen size beds. When we arrive we noticed the room had one queen and one full size bed. We tried to talk to the staff to see if we could get the correct room we booked and they said that was a mistake. There are no rooms at all that have 2 queen size beds. They said they had asked booking.com to fix it but working with them was like “banging your head against the wall”. Overall a little annoying that we weren’t told back when we booked our stay. It wasn’t comfortable squishing 2 people on a full sized bed. Then one day we tried to get the maid to come to replace our towels. We must have put the sign out to late so we tried to go to the front desk for help, but it was closed with no notice in the middle of the day. We then called and were told that they were out running errands and had to wait until 2pm (around 2/3hours) if we wanted new towels. Just wish the timing of everything was more clear and there was better service.

- Sydnet (6/5): Pleasant - It was quiet and staff was friendly and helpful. Room felt cramped, especially the bathroom. Felt room was overpriced.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient Location, Quiet Room - Location is great on the main street where it's walking distance to the general store and restaurants. Quiet, clean room on the 2nd floor. Had a kitchen and breakfast table which was great for cooking, eating, and staring out of the window in the morning. Though the view was just of the neighborhood, the trees and mountains were nice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. TV had various channels. The sofas, toilet and sink counter were all lower than usual which is perfect if you're a child but that was fine. However, it was hard to get a hold of anyone as there was no one in the office when we checked in/out. They need to write on their check-in sheet what the check out instructions are as we had to guess to drop our key in a "Key" box but it was unattended...
