• Heike (9/5): - Wir waren schon das zweite Mal hier zu Gast. Ein nettes kleines Hotel, sehr sauber und mit schöner Ausstattung. Dass das Frühstück ein paar Häuser weiter stattfindet, stört uns gar nicht. Das Personal dort und an der Rezeption ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gab keine Probleme.

• CARL (10/5): Super Clean - Just 1 min walk from Sea front & Shops - Super Comfy Bed & a Fabulous Breakfast - Our 5th Stay in this super Quaint stylish hotel that's perfectly located just off the main busy main seafront walkway and yet within one mins walk from the harbour front and all the shops you'd ever need to enjoy. The rooms are super clean and a bed so comfy to provide you the best nights sleep ever! What makes this complete for us is the wonderful buffet style breakfast that's included - Perfect! Everything is perfect for us

I had issues with noise and Anthonis went above my expectations and was able to change location for another Elia hotel traht was quiet and luxurious. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff Location fo the hotel, noisy because of closeness to the street and also not accessible by car. But it has nothing to do witjh the service at the property.

Be aware that Old Town Chania is pedestrian only, so must carry your own luggage for about 10 minutes on cobblestones. There is no elevator, upon checkin there is staff to carry luggage upstairs, but no one to assist upon checkout.

When we enquired downstairs, the staff member informed us it was the whole hotel but didn't help us with any more information on how long it may be or where to charge phones. • Kelly (8/5): - Gorgeous boutique hotel with lovely modern and vintage mix of aesthetic. Lovely size room with moderate size bathroom. Breakfast was great, a lot of choice, and in a seperate hotel, a few strides down the street. Would recommend, the location was awesome. Pillows needed updating, some street sound even with windows and shutters closed, but I still slept well. Chania doesn't sleep. I was in a room facing the street side.

• Bernhard (10/5): Modernes cooles Hotel in BEST-Lage am venezianischen Hafen - Top Lage. Mehr geht nicht. Super Ausblick auf den venezianischen Hafen, Leuchtturm und Umgebung. Neues, äußerst modernes Zimmer mit Balkon zum Hafen. Klimaanlage funktionierte - entgegen anderslautenden Kommentaren - absolut erstklassig. Super freundliches Personal, nette Leute - man fühlte sich sofort willkommen. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir waren leider nur 1 Nacht dort. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir in Chania - und natürlich in diesem Hotel - mehr Tage einplanen. Aber okay, es müßte wohl schon dieses Zimmer mit Balkon sein. Fällt uns gerade echt nichts ein.
• Joshua (6/5): - So let me start by saying we communicated with this hotel a handful of times and it’s a little bit frustrating that there wasn’t anyone there to assist us upon check-in with our luggage. The hotel is in old town and so we had walk our large bags through the narrow streets and down and upstairs. Upon arriving to the hotel, they do not have an elevator and a small young lady working at the front desk so once again, being on the third floor, you have to walk your luggage up three flights of stairs to your room. Upon checking out, we asked if someone could help us in. They informed us that they only have one person that does that and they have six properties they manage so they did not know if he’d be able to help us bring our luggage down. obviously there’s nothing they can do about the rules in old town and not being able to have a car and that portion of it, but then to also not have an elevator and not have someone there to help people when they’re checking in to get their luggage in their rooms and upstairs is odd to me. They even have a winding staircase that makes it very difficult and to meet dangerous to be caring luggage up. We also did not realize how challenging it would be to find parking the hotel made it seem like it would be very easy. It was not. And once again, having to get your luggage from your vehicle to the hotel was also very challenging. I will say thatAC works extremely well though, and that was the absolute best part.

Very much enjoyed the vibe a little noisy in the later part of the evening was manageable as chitters + windows kept the echo down.

Booking the room with the balcony was a great, love the view and nice place to chill. Everything was clean and neat. The breakfast buffet was also terrific!
• Denise (9/5): Superb - I recently booked two rooms at this hotel — a standard room for myself and my husband, and a sea view room for my parents. Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My parents absolutely loved their room, especially the stunning sea view and the terrace. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The location is also perfect, close to everything, making it easy to explore the area on foot. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return! There weren’t enough beach towels available for guests. We were a group of four but were only provided with one towel.

Be sure to close the wooden shutters if you don’t want to be woken very early. There was noise from the nearby tavernas and bars until very late. It’s expected given the location of the hotel.

• Anna (8/5): Overall great place to stay - Perfect location with amazing view of the port and backstreets of Chania with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful. In the room there is a small window where sun comes in very early in the morning. Would suggest to change curtains to block the sun as the light woke us up. Also we could hear footsteps and the chat of other guests from the room above. Seems the bedroom was not soundproof.

• Sian (10/5): Fantastic views from the balcony - I had a really nice stay. The room itself had the most amazing view and lovely balcony and was a good size. The only downside was the thin walls - but I just slept with earplugs in. Bed was a bit softer than what I like, but that’s just personal preference. Location was perfect for exploring the old town and so many great places to eat nearby. Breakfast was a really good selection and all the staff were really friendly. I would stay again for the view alone as I am sure all the old buildings struggle noise wise.

• Debra (10/5): Venetian Harbor Delight - Our stay at Elia Zampeliou Hotel in Chania's Venetian Harbor was a delight! Our room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable, with a picture-perfect view of the Harbor. The staff were friendly and professional and the price was extremely reasonable considering it also included a delicious and abundant breakfast of Greek pastries, breads and yogurts. We enjoyed exploring the narrow and colorful alleyways in this ancient part of town. The only down side was that we weren't able to stay longer. We would definitely return to Elia Zampeliou Hotel and recommend it highly.
